A great breakfast/brunch place in Siesta Key. My girlfriends and I enjoyed this establishment after a morning of shopping. One of had the Toasted Mango Avocado Toast and enjoyed the flavor. The French toast was just the right consistency and didn't need any syrup. The server was kind enough to suggest that the biscuits are so big that you don't want to use it as a sandwich base because then you'll loose all the flavors. SO SO GOOD. We stopped here on our way out of a nice weekend vacation. They take your number down and seat you as soon as a table is available. It was a Sunday afternoon so the wait was quite long, and even then we only waited about 20 minutes. It's very very cozy and busy inside but the servers do their best to pay attention to all their tables. The food came out quickly and hot - delicious. I ordered the waffles with mango butter and so glad I did. The waffles were delicious but that mango butter takes the cake! Stay with me here. Mango. Butter. Yes it sounds so weird, but give it a shot. Especially when you get a nice mango chunk in your spread - the sweetness is just that good added onto the butter. 5 stars because it just feels like vacation. We've been coming down for spring training for the last 7 years and each year we've hit this location and/ or the Sarasota location. The black coffee is a mild, easy to drink blend. The Sarasota omelet is phenomenal, filled with cheese and topped with avocado. The fruit is fresh and abundant. Loved this restaurant for breakfast. When we showed up, there were quite a few people waiting, but the staff handled the queue very well, and we were served in a shorter time than I would have expected. The food was very good and unlike the Green Zebra Café in Saratoga, they got our whole order correct the first time - even with special requests. The food was great both for the one of us that likes everything plain and for the other vegetarian who really enjoyed the french toast with mango butter and fresh mango. We had called ahead for take out and it's a good thing we did as it was packed when we picked it up! Both of us ordered the corned beef hash with a potato cake.
