Avocado Smash Toast (with Poached Egg and Lump Crab)
    Denaya H.

This was my first time seeing this spot in Crystal City and I was impressed! Some of the staff did a pop up at my nearby solidcore class and were so welcoming. It was a no brainer to head over there for a post workout meal. When we arrived we were welcomed so pleasantly. They let us sample some of the juices that we didn't try at the pop up and explained some good menu picks. The Avocado Smash toast with a poached egg + the crab was so delicious! I was shocked to see the use of REAL lump crab too! It was also very filling. The Defender juice was also a great choice and very refreshing. We sat inside and it was a peaceful vibe. The staff talked to us and really were friendly and you usually don't get that kind of service at quick stops like this. I would certainly come back.

This is my go to place to have a quick brunch. Their coffee is good but their smoothie is also very nice. They always keep the place clean but it's always up to you to leave the place clean after you finish your meal Staffs are friendly.

My wife stopped by Toastique earlier today and I wasn't with her so I cannot comment about the service or ambiance but I will say their Burrata/Tomato toast was quite delicious. Looking at the menu now, I realize it was $16 which actually seems quite expensive - see a pic of it here!

I love the healthy food options at this place. This Toastique location just opened and I had to check it out. We got the chicken salad roast and the spicy crab toast and both were delicious, healthy, and very filling. They have outdoor and indoor seating options. Since we brought a dog, we went with outdoor seating. The chicken salad has a generous amount of chicken and imo was better than the crab sandwich. They also have a great selection of freshly pressed juices on tap and a great selection of coffees. The ambience is trendy and hip and I love just being able to sit here and either read or work or talk to my friends. The service is great and the workers are super friendly.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast with my mom and loved the food! Fresh and healthy! I got the spicy crab and it was so so good I'm sure I'll be craving it soon!! My mom got the smoked salmon and fell in love with the pickled onions she got more to top it with! Service was great they are so nice and friendly and made sure everything was how we liked! We also got some immunity shots that were healthy and delicious! Very clean bathrooms and dining room. Music was also nice

Toastique is a very good healthy food experience. This location is at National Landing in the restaurant compound between 19th & 20th streets. The restaurant serves smoothies, smoothie bowls, gourmet toast (which I will try on my next visit), varieties of coffee, cold-pressed juices, and baked goods. On this visit, the store was celebrating its grand opening within the last 24 hours, so I gave the smoothies a try. They were delicious. Keep in mind, the smoothies are fresh and all natural, so it won't taste ultra sweet which you might expect from some of the more prevalent smoothie shops. Given the wide variety of food and drinks options, Toastique is a very good idea for a morning or afternoon meal. There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, however the outdoor seating is situated in the courtyard, which is limited. The customer service was very friendly. I'll visit again when in the area.

    Booster Shot

Expired booster shots are labeled with new expiry dates and sold to customers. Original expiration label shows January 30 but a new label indicating February 21, 2026 as the expiration date is placed on top of the previous one and sent to me as part of the online order on February 14, 2026. Do not fabricate expiry dates and commit fraud.

We were there for brunch on a Saturday. We shared the skillet cornbread and deviled eggs and agreed they were excellent, but the deviled eggs were top-notch. For entrees we had a brisket bennie, brisket hash, and fried chicken and biscuits. Everyone said their dish was the best dish. I had the fried chicken - just the right honey and heat, and the biscuits were fluffy, buttery heaven. We were stuffed but Jorge and Matt (one of the owners) dropped off a complimentary order of apple donuts with raspberry jam. I shouldn't be surprised but the chunks of real apple in the donuts - wow. I don't know how they serve food this good in a location this beautiful and such reasonable prices. I guarantee, though, we'll be back for dinner and be regular customers in the future.

It's natural unforced southern hospitality from A-Z. Also of note If you're able to please ask for the (Chef's Table) and thank me later! When we made the reservation in advance, we called to ask if happy hour was everywhere or just at the bar; they said everywhere, so we booked a table. Plot twist, it's only at the bar / downstairs :))) We arrived 15 minutes early, so while they got our table ready, we ordered at the bar. 5 stars for the bartender. If I could review her, the host, and the happy hour prices in isolation, I would! They moved us upstairs, we sat down, and immediately saw the menus were different. We asked the gentleman bringing waters about happy hour and he sent the waiter over. The waiter, with about 2% helpfulness, shared that happy hour is only downstairs. I mentioned that we had called in advance to ask. We asked if it would be possible to have that menu or perhaps move. The conversation felt like pulling teeth. He said, with much dismissiveness, it was up to the host downstairs to move and if they had availability and left. (Fair, we move, he doesn't get his tip. An alternative? Give us the happy hour menu, still get your tip. Better yet, just be slightly helpful?) The host downstairs found us a table but shared it was booked at 6:15 so we needed to be in and out. It was no problem because we had arrived before 5 (early, remember?). Although, it took 15 minutes (I timed it!) for anyone to come bring waters or address us as their table. A little hard to operate with urgency when no one takes your order!! I got up, told the host stand, and they sent a server over, and he proceeded to come back all of three times. We also had to flag him down to get our check, while we sat with empty waters that were never once refilled. We had pizza, cod sliders, and half orders of aglio e olio pasta. The cod sliders were more breadding than fish, but the flavor was decent. The pasta was delicious. No five star Italian meal, but it hit the spot and the portion was plentiful. I didn't try the pizza but it was 12 inches, piping hot, and the two eating it couldn't finish it. The food came out quickly and hot. I think we spent under or just about $100 for four folks to have dinner + drinks, so the prices are really solid. Perhaps you get what you pay for though? Both of our male servers seemed annoyed to be dealing with us and mostly unhelpful. Noteworthy mention: there was a female server who was kind enough to bring us a brown paper bag for our to go box. She was running around and her tables seemed well cared for. Disappointed in my experience and the customer service.

A very nice touch to add a stem of Rose for the women. I would say that I gave it a lower star rating not because the food was bad. It was actually delicious, but probably the experience itself. The restaurant felt chaotic, and even though all the tables were not completely packed of course there were flowers everywhere people gathering with grandmother's mother's children, etc We were seated in a two people table and all the top past dishes started to pile up very quickly. Instead of monitoring, the progress of the finished dishes and removing those dishes due to space constraint, the dishes came from the kitchen, almost on top of one another, and at one point I had to hold a dish in my hand in order to make space to put a dish on top of another flatbread pan/dish, making things super chaotic. Also dishes had to be put on top of the menu because in order to order additional food, you need to leave at least one copy of the menu at the table. Overall, again the flavors and taste were good, though I might have had similar dishes from other places, and my partner commented that some of it is actually very close to the Capital One landing at DCA. I would just say that it was more due to the chaos and just the way that all the dishes piled up on top of us we felt like we were we had to eat super quickly so that we could stack dishes ourselves and create room at the table. Also, when serving the dishes were not kept level and basically was slide to the side of the dish, making presentation off
