    Berry Overnight Oats and smoothie
    Tawanna M.

I needed something light and quick for breakfast and decided to grab a smoothie. It was delicious. I ordered a berry smoothie and the berry overnight oats. Both were exactly what I needed, portion sizes were more than enough and tasty. My order came out to just under $20. The customer service was also really nice. Love the lady who made my smoothie and made conversation with me. It's a beautiful shop on the inside, with a good bit of seating. Please check it out.

I have visited a few more times since my last visit, they have consistently fresh ingredients and the food is very good. I was really surprised at how much I like the watermelon feta summer special, I would've never thought of putting watermelon on toast, lol

We ordered a peanut butter and banana toast to-go and it was amazing! We split it between 2 kids and it was plenty.

I've been meaning to go to Tostique on the DC Wharf, where I live, but haven't gotten around to it yet. So I happened to be in the Pentagonal City area and decided to try there. Boy do I wish I'd made Toastique a regular place for brunch. The toast options are varied and so tasty. My daughter got a gluten free version of the Spicy Crab toast and was amazed at the flavor and adequate portion size. Toastique is designed to be counter service, so you pick out your items and order directly from a friendly server. Once ordered, grab yourself a table in the ample seating area and they'll bring your freshly prepared order to you. A very nice casual dining experience.

Avocado Smash Toast (with Poached Egg and Lump Crab)

This was my first time seeing this spot in Crystal City and I was impressed! Some of the staff did a pop up at my nearby solidcore class and were so welcoming. It was a no brainer to head over there for a post workout meal. When we arrived we were welcomed so pleasantly. They let us sample some of the juices that we didn't try at the pop up and explained some good menu picks. The Avocado Smash toast with a poached egg + the crab was so delicious! I was shocked to see the use of REAL lump crab too! It was also very filling. The Defender juice was also a great choice and very refreshing. We sat inside and it was a peaceful vibe. The staff talked to us and really were friendly and you usually don't get that kind of service at quick stops like this. I would certainly come back.

This is my go to place to have a quick brunch. Their coffee is good but their smoothie is also very nice. They always keep the place clean but it's always up to you to leave the place clean after you finish your meal Staffs are friendly.

Service was great! The girl behind the counter was very professional and friendly. Was in town for work and checked Toastique out for lunch. I ordered the Spicy Crab Toast and it was fairly decent. The size is reasonable for the price. Also ordered their matcha drink and their stuff are not sweeten so you're able to adjust it yourself. Was able to order at the counter to-go within 15 minutes.

My wife stopped by Toastique earlier today and I wasn't with her so I cannot comment about the service or ambiance but I will say their Burrata/Tomato toast was quite delicious. Looking at the menu now, I realize it was $16 which actually seems quite expensive - see a pic of it here!

I love the healthy food options at this place. This Toastique location just opened and I had to check it out. We got the chicken salad roast and the spicy crab toast and both were delicious, healthy, and very filling. They have outdoor and indoor seating options. Since we brought a dog, we went with outdoor seating. The chicken salad has a generous amount of chicken and imo was better than the crab sandwich. They also have a great selection of freshly pressed juices on tap and a great selection of coffees. The ambience is trendy and hip and I love just being able to sit here and either read or work or talk to my friends. The service is great and the workers are super friendly.

Yesterday I went to Tate and today I came to toastique. This place is so much better than Tate. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is inviting and warm and the space is clean. A must try! I'll be back tomorrow for breakfast. The drinks look good aswell if you're looking for an afternoon spot.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast with my mom and loved the food! Fresh and healthy! I got the spicy crab and it was so so good I'm sure I'll be craving it soon!! My mom got the smoked salmon and fell in love with the pickled onions she got more to top it with! Service was great they are so nice and friendly and made sure everything was how we liked! We also got some immunity shots that were healthy and delicious! Very clean bathrooms and dining room. Music was also nice

Toastique is a very good healthy food experience. This location is at National Landing in the restaurant compound between 19th & 20th streets. The restaurant serves smoothies, smoothie bowls, gourmet toast (which I will try on my next visit), varieties of coffee, cold-pressed juices, and baked goods. On this visit, the store was celebrating its grand opening within the last 24 hours, so I gave the smoothies a try. They were delicious. Keep in mind, the smoothies are fresh and all natural, so it won't taste ultra sweet which you might expect from some of the more prevalent smoothie shops. Given the wide variety of food and drinks options, Toastique is a very good idea for a morning or afternoon meal. There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, however the outdoor seating is situated in the courtyard, which is limited. The customer service was very friendly. I'll visit again when in the area.

I love a good chicken and waffles so I was eager to try them out. I got to try the regular classic, peach ,and sample the Mac and cheese waffle. They were decent and I enjoyed what I had but it didn't move me to chorus. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. The biscuits for a cause were incredible. Hands down my favorite. Warm, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the jam and butter. The roasted half bird dish was a item on the special menu. They had a special on mimosas and had a few different dishes that weren't on the regular menu. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The green beans were nice and savory. Though the Mac and cheese left a bit to be desired. They complemented the dish but the green beans were definitely the standout. All in all, I'm not disappointed that I went but I can't say that I would return on my own accord. It's a very popular restaurant but I found the food to be a bit mid unfortunately.

When we made the reservation in advance, we called to ask if happy hour was everywhere or just at the bar; they said everywhere, so we booked a table. Plot twist, it's only at the bar / downstairs :))) We arrived 15 minutes early, so while they got our table ready, we ordered at the bar. 5 stars for the bartender. If I could review her, the host, and the happy hour prices in isolation, I would! They moved us upstairs, we sat down, and immediately saw the menus were different. We asked the gentleman bringing waters about happy hour and he sent the waiter over. The waiter, with about 2% helpfulness, shared that happy hour is only downstairs. I mentioned that we had called in advance to ask. We asked if it would be possible to have that menu or perhaps move. The conversation felt like pulling teeth. He said, with much dismissiveness, it was up to the host downstairs to move and if they had availability and left. (Fair, we move, he doesn't get his tip. An alternative? Give us the happy hour menu, still get your tip. Better yet, just be slightly helpful?) The host downstairs found us a table but shared it was booked at 6:15 so we needed to be in and out. It was no problem because we had arrived before 5 (early, remember?). Although, it took 15 minutes (I timed it!) for anyone to come bring waters or address us as their table. A little hard to operate with urgency when no one takes your order!! I got up, told the host stand, and they sent a server over, and he proceeded to come back all of three times. We also had to flag him down to get our check, while we sat with empty waters that were never once refilled. We had pizza, cod sliders, and half orders of aglio e olio pasta. The cod sliders were more breadding than fish, but the flavor was decent. The pasta was delicious. No five star Italian meal, but it hit the spot and the portion was plentiful. I didn't try the pizza but it was 12 inches, piping hot, and the two eating it couldn't finish it. The food came out quickly and hot. I think we spent under or just about $100 for four folks to have dinner + drinks, so the prices are really solid. Perhaps you get what you pay for though? Both of our male servers seemed annoyed to be dealing with us and mostly unhelpful. Noteworthy mention: there was a female server who was kind enough to bring us a brown paper bag for our to go box. She was running around and her tables seemed well cared for. Disappointed in my experience and the customer service.

That thoughtfulness is one of the many reasons I was excited to try it. When we arrived, I was initially concerned after learning that the "G" on the menu indicated dishes **containing** gluten rather than being gluten-free. Since many menu items were marked with a "G," I worried my options would be very limited, especially for the unlimited brunch experience. Thankfully, our server, Emma, immediately put me at ease. She brought me the food allergy menu, answered my questions with patience, and made sure I understood what was safe for me to enjoy. While my husband and I were deciding whether to stay, the manager, Antonio, came to our table after Emma shared my dietary concerns. His kindness completely changed the experience. He took the time to explain my options, offered to have the kitchen modify several dishes, and reassured me that their goal was for me to feel safe and enjoy my meal. Thanks to Emma and Antonio, what started with uncertainty became one of the most enjoyable brunch experiences I've had. I was able to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, the mimosas were a great value, and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light. What I'll remember most, though, is how genuinely cared for I felt. Before we left, Antonio stopped by one last time to make sure I was happy with my meal and that all of my needs had been met. My husband had put so much love and intention into choosing this restaurant, and thanks to Emma and Antonio, we both left with happy hearts and full bellies.
