Sweet Treat at South Block I stopped by South Block and tried the Dubai Chocolate açaí bowl in the mini size . I swapped the bananas on top for blueberries and added chia seeds + collagen protein . The strawberries and blueberries were super fresh, and I really enjoyed the Dubai chocolate flavor. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the actual blend having a little too much banana for my taste. Still, it was really delicious and the perfect portion size . As for the service, it was fine in terms of timing , but the interaction felt a little off. The woman who made my bowl just called my name, placed it on the counter, and walked away. Excellent customer service! Friendly staff who greeted me as I walked in. As advised by others, I preordered my bowl via the South Block app. When the order was ready, I went to pick it up from the store. This was my first time trying the Loaded PBJ bowl and while the toppings / fruit were great (as always), the açaí wasn't what I expected/familiar with compared to the traditional way. The almond milk was more overpowering and I could barely taste the berries. However, that doesn't mean that this place isn't worth visiting. It's just a matter of trying different bowls to see what works for you/like or love. For example, my favorite/highly recommend is the mango sunshine smoothie bowl The store itself is very nice, neatly designed, and plenty of places to sit.
