I asked (at the time I asked for ice) if they don't put ice in their smoothies. The woman, who was different than the one who made it, said it depends on who makes it. It is named ICED brew smoothie. The name would imply it would be cold. It was also very thin, likely because of the lack of ice. For the $16 I paid: $12, plus the add ins of kale, almond butter and protein powder, this was definitely not worth the $. I could not recommend that you order this. We ordered three different toasts and every single one was bland, dry, and forgettable- beautiful as they were. The OG avocado toast was especially disappointing. It wasn't fresh avocado at all - you could taste that artificial, sour, frozen-container spread. Everything is overpriced for what you get: dry bread, artificial toppings, and a whole lot of attitude - but why though? The flavors were either off or nonexistent. Sadly, they had no iced tea (our standard drink after a ride), but fresh juice drinks, a variety of coffees, and various bottled and canned drinks are offered and a complimentary water station sits on the counter (ask for ice if needed). My husband ordered the Smoked Salmon toast with a boiled egg added. I had the Smashed Avocado toast. Both items came out quickly, plated gorgeously on custom wooden plank boards. Beautifully clean and bright. Service a little slow at the beginning of the day with only one person (the owner I guess) behind the counter doing all the prep as well as the serving. Stopped into Toastique in downtown Colorado Springs after a morning walk and it was the perfect choice. I ordered the Cure cold-pressed juice (pineapple, apple, and spinach), which was light, refreshing, and just what I needed to recharge. For food, I went with the tomato burrata toast topped with ricotta, pesto, fresh tomatoes, basil, burrata, and a drizzle of olive oil--absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and balanced without being too heavy. Service was quick and friendly, and since the restaurant wasn't very busy, it made for a calm, relaxing breakfast spot. This restaurant has a very fresh and open concept and vibe to it which I really liked. The juice I had was delicious. As a vegan I was so excited to come here in October however I do feel I was slightly let down. Avocado toast is my go to breakfast and I wish they had more veggie/vegan options. Most of the toasts has some type of meat or dairy and there was really only one option for me that I did not have to heavily modify. This is a cute and relatively new breakfast spot downtown with a second location further north. The menu offers a variety of elaborate sweet and savory toast options as well as smoothies, açaí bowls, overnight oats, coffee and wellness beverages. The restaurant has the option to keep the large front door open for a fresh breeze and natural light. Unfortunately it was left open on a particularly chilly and windy day, which deterred me from having a freezing cold açaí bowl. Instead, I choose the PB crunch toast which was the most extensive toast I've ever tried. It had peanut butter, granola, jam, banana, berries, nuts and honey on a piece of cinnamon raisin toast served on a cute little charcuterie board. It is impossible to eat this toast with your hands so a fork and knife must be used! It was very tasty with a lot going on. The bread seemed a little tough on the edges but overall I liked it and I would love to try their açaí bowls another time! You can order at the counter, which gives Toastique a more casual feel amount the pricey menu and aesthetics ambiance. I think this would be a great place for a special occasion brunch! It would be nice if they could list the macros and/or calories on the menu. I appreciate the vegan options they have available. read more

They were apologizing to me before I even ordered cause they were so 'backed up', I had no idea until he told me. You could tell he was super stressed. I said no problem, I'm good- take your time honestly. I went to the counter to see if my food was ready, and was firmly told they'll bring it to me. So I went back and sat down. I got my to go toast in like 15 min- then...after another 15 min, i went back up to the counter to ask again, (yes I was afraid they were going to tell me to go sit down again) They said "oh! It's been sitting in the fridge keeping cold" "we wondered who's that was" 'sorry for the delay, we're just stressed" I understand. The smoothies and bowls were great. I had the green smoothie and it was very well made and refreshing. I opted for the $9 "small" cup, and it was a decent size for the price. I've been to other cities in the Bay Area where the same price gets you less at similar businesses. The service was quick, simple, and kind. You order with the cashier and if you dine in, someone will bring the food to your table. The service was minimal outside of that -- we cleared our own table. And got our own napkins and water as needed. The place is also very well maintained and clean. The food itself ranged from decent to amazing. I had the Tuscan tuna toast, and there was a lot going on. I enjoyed the tuna itself but the combo of the tuna salad, sweet sauce toppings, olives, sun dried tomatoes, and others felt like a clash of flavors that didn't mesh well (at least for my taste). There was also just too much sauce -- to the point where I scooped those parts out so I can savor the tuna. I usually love tuna sandwiches, and this is one of my least favorite renditions. The salmon toast, on the other hand, was made more standardly with capers and such and was very delicious. The acai bowl was also enjoyable. Parking around here can be a bit challenging, yet we were able to get a metered spot a couple blocks away for $1.50 per hour. Overall, I plan to return if in the area to try other offerings (though I plan to never opt for the tuna again). read more

Well, Let me clear up any confusion you fellow guys might have and say that this place offers up various toast options on steroids. We ordered the Greek toast on this visit and on top of a nice and crusty piece of toast was delicious hummus, greens, olives, and tomatoes all presented as a work of art. Some of their other offerings had veggies that were shaped as flowers and along with all the coloring from other ingredients was a picture perfect piece of toast. We also ordered some of their açaí and pitaya bowls which were good, but did not rise to the level of their toasty offerings. Restaurant was modern and clean with friendly and efficient service. I got the Tomato Burrata toast and let me tell you - I'll be going back again just for that! Tomatoes were juicy, bread was great (not too hard like some sourdoughs) and the cheese was divine! I also ordered a hazelnut honey latte that was definitely top 10 best lattes I've ever had. The space was very clean, modern interior and super comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and kind. The new Toastique location is luckily (and unfortunately) right around the block from where I work. They have sooo many options and I can't wait to try them all!! I got the Dragonberry Açaí bowl and it was the perfect blend with a great amount of mix ins. They don't skimp! I also got the Iced Brew with almond butter. I think the almond butter made it taste a little weird, but still good!! The interior is very spacious - lots of seats and standing room. Clean bathrooms. Free cucumber water. Their coffee is from Building Three coffee (whoop whoop)! They unfortunately don't have a lot of kid-friendly options; just know that going in, this is a *gourmet* toast and bowl joint. They were able to make my friend a simple peanut butter and jelly toast for her kiddo, with homemade peanut butter AND jelly. It was still a large piece of rustic toast but easily cut up into pieces. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Came in for an early breakfast with a friend today. I've been excited to try this place for awhile. Walking in everything was so esthetically pleasing and clean. Zero complaints on the ambiance part. The service was so friendly and fast. The cashier even asked what type milk I wanted in my matcha latte which I was soooo thankful for because I always forget to specify I want oatmilk. My memory is fleeting at best lol. I ordered the three cheese Italian and the matcha latte. After tip it came out to roughly $25. Price, that was my only complaint. I'd looked at the menu before, I knew what I was getting myself into. I figured I'd let the experience speak for itself if it was worth it. So all in all the food, the drink, the service was all spectactular. But in this economy coming here I think would have to be a treat to justify the amount spent. Look how amazing this is! I added smoked salmon to the gluten free burrata toast. They even packaged the toast separately (per my request) since gluten free bread gets squishy quickly.
