Toca Madera Winery was a pleasant experience with a lovely backdrop and staff. I would recommend this place for a winery.

Great winery, lovely background and friendly staff. The local music was an extra bonus. I recommend this for a winery in Madera.

Super cute winery in the Central Valley! Wine was good and they do events here that are fun!

Very nice winery in Madera. Has an incredible outdoor area. The garden space is beautiful with a view to the vineyards. Great place for anyone looking for a party venue too. We had a group of 7 and sat outside. The wine tasting is delish! You get to try a good variety of different wines and the server did a great job explaining all the wines to us. Not to mention the wine tasting is $10 so it's very affordable comparing it to the high prices at Napa. And you still get incredible views, great wine, and great service!

The dude and I participated in Madera Wine Trails the weekend before Valentines Day 2020. Toca Winery was probably my favorite winery to visit. I thought it was so thoughtful that my dude surprised me with experience. When we arrived we did not know we had to check in at each location so we strolled through here through the back and security swooped in faster than PD ever would. The security guard was so nice and respectful and let us know that at each winery we had to check in. The dude and I thanked him for the information and carried on. I tried a wine out of this world which I forgot to snap a picture of but it was a Sangria so yummy it didn't taste like alcohol so the dude purchased one bottle here and we explored the Winery. They had shopping in the patio area from honey vendor to chocolate and unique items like custom wine glasses. It was a packed house and I probably tried about 10 wines here. The bathrooms were very clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and this location is so beautiful! They had live music...i wanted to so stay here for the rest of the wine trails but we had to continue our journey. They also had food trucks and ample seating. Lovely winery. I am looking forward to coming back for fun or another wine trail!

Plenty of parking, friendly staff. Check in process well organized. The wine was delicious and The Box band was awesome!

My first time wine tasting and honestly, I'm not a wine person so I couldn't speak much on the tasting but for it being my first time, I had a great experience! The staff was soo nice to us and soo well informed about their local wines. The view of the winery was gorgeous. They had live music playing. You can bring your own food! The place was easy to find and plenty of parking. It was such a good price for the 3 of us! Even though I'm not a big wine person, I personally want to do it again bc it was such a fun experience with my friends!

UNREAL service and wine!!! Great music, beautiful view - truly feels like your in Napa! The servers are so kind, funny and generous!! We loved our time, will be back again and again!!!!

I have been to many wineries, from Temecula to Paso Robles and this one was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, wine was great but Phil really didn't seem to care if the customers were there or not. We have a 4:00 reservation and no urgency to get us seated. Gave our first pour, dirty glasses and left us empty for 10 minutes. We had to get up and ask for water. We eventually were served by Courtney and Lena, who were great! But Phil wasn't finished. He didn't hesitate to walk by our table after we received our 4th pour and said "Eight minutes left". We really didn't feel like valued customers. They barely had enough wine for our 5th pour and we missed out on the bonus pour. If you would like a lovely experience, enjoying wine on the beautiful property, this is not the place.

this place is soo beautiful! We came here for a work event just when the sun was setting. We had the venue to ourselves and plenty of space for the guys to play some games, the women walk and talk, the wine was really good, they also provided beer and snacks and it was just soo relaxing. The twinkle lights shined above us when it got dark and the inside was nice and cool, it was just a great place to host a party. I can see the appeal to have a wedding there as well, so pretty. Also my boss had come here all the time for his salsa parties too, so I had always heard good reviews before I even came here.

The Toca Madera winery hosted our wedding a few days. My fiancé and I started planning the wedding in June of 2020 with Chelsey. She was the best! She was very detail oriented & very personable, we kept in touch a few times a month up till the month of November. She took the stress out of sooooo much. Thank you so much Chelsey, you are definitely the face of the Toca Madera Winery and I wish you and your family many many blessings. The wedding day was a bit chaotic but not because of Toca Madera, it was the normal Groom-Zilla and Bride-Zilla stuff lol. Once my now wife started to walk down the isle, everything from there went soooo smooth. I recommend anyone who wants a perfect wedding too book with Chelsey at the Toca Madera Winery!

I'm not a big wine fan so usually I'll do the slurp thing to taste the notes or take a sip or two and then pass my glass off to my husband, rather than dumping it. I've been to umpteen wineries around California, the US and internationally. This winery gives, hands down, the stingiest pours I've ever experienced. I could maybe get two sips out of a pour. And yet this tasting was $15 for 4 wines, but if you're a party of 6 or more, the fee for the same tasting goes up to $20 per person! Since when does pouring maybe a half ounce into more glasses warrant everyone in the party being charged $5 more bucks a piece? It feels stingy. I went to 4 wineries in the same weekend I visited Crū. J. Lohr in Paso charges $20 per person for 6 generous pours and a free pencil with herb seeds to plant at home. Eberle Winery in Paso does free tastings and yet have generous pours, free bottled water and a free tour of the underground storage facility. Quady in Madera charges $5 per person for a tasting and not only were the pours generous, we tried 7 wines, got to double back on our favorites before we ordered a half case. The server was nice and personable. I have no complaints about her. Overall it doesn't feel like a fun wine tasting experience when it seems like they're rationing their wine. While not the end of the world, there isn't much of a view for the outdoor patio because the tasting room patio is between the building and a fence with a road on the other side. If you're wanting to see vineyards while you sip, this isn't the spot for you. There was also a couple with a toddler at a table - with an iPad, playing a video outloud without headphones - while the parents were wine tasting inside, so just know that kids are allowed if that matters to you. I have had the Essensia before however, I didn't remember it tasting this good! We only get the moscatos in our local stores you have to order the Essencia and the Elysium. The Essencia tasted like fruit and honey. I tried Elysium next and it was delicious. I tried the Lucky Day variety and I wasn't really a fan. That extra percent of alcohol through me. The place is really cute and super tiny compared to a lot of wineries in madera. It has a cute bar area with really nice chairs and a little area to buy books and market items. We sat down at the bar area and didn't get greeted right away it took a few minutes it seemed like they were overwhelmed with all of the people there. We wanted 3 tastings in the hopes to have a charcuterie board and get a bottle of wine if we liked one of them. While sitting there a couple who had a baby sat at the bar and both were drinking wine (sorry I don't think it's okay) I understand parents need a day or night out (I'm a parent too) but babies don't belong at wineries or breweries. It's just how I feel. While sitting at the bar area the owners and whoever else the ladies were to the establishment didn't have it together they all kept overstepping one another and they looked and seemed overwhelmed. And they kept talking about it in front of us. I found out the new owners have only been there 6 months. So I understand they're still trying to figure things out. But it did take awhile to get a new pour, so I finally asked after 3 tastings if we can buy a charcuterie board, one of the ladies told me they don't have anymore they were sold out. We were bummed because we were hungry, and they didn't have any snacks to buy. So we were on our last tastings and out of nowhere a board appears and was now being bought from the couple with the baby who also got to sample the slushie they serve as well. We left unhappy and not understanding why they just lied to us about not having a board for sale. The wine was great but how we were treated compared to the people around us not so much. It's so unfortunate to like something so much but the service that's given to you and different for others is not okay. I love trying new places but sometimes it's not what's it's cut out to be.

I had never even heard of this place until she got us tickets. When we got there, I was surprised at how spacious it felt for a smaller spot in Clovis. Parking is a little limited, but not too bad. When you check in for yoga, they give you a glass of wine (love that), and then you go find a spot in their cute outdoor yard. The whole vibe is very relaxed and homey. Just a heads up though... this is a working farm, so there are chickens roaming around and two kittens walking around as well (and one is very friendly). Something to keep in mind depending on your comfort level. The yoga class was about an hour and it was really nice being outside in the fresh air. Super peaceful. After yoga, they had appetizers and wine tasting. The appetizers are limited, so once they're gone, they're gone. There was this chicken appetizer that was SO good, but it ran out really fast. They also opened a few different wines for tasting, and their wine is really good! After everything, you can hang out, have some wine, and enjoy the space. The owner mentioned they also host bridal showers and baby showers, which makes sense because it's such a cute, intimate spot. Overall, it's a really nice local spot if you're looking for something in town and don't want to drive all the way out to Paso Robles. Definitely worth checking out!
