Such a fun experience! As the mom of an 8-year-old boy who loves soccer, I'm so happy they opened this place. I reserved our box online ahead of time and also pre-ordered a kids meal and an adult meal. When we arrived, we checked in, got assigned our box, and my son received a (pre-purchased online) Toca Social medal. We watched the game introduction on the screen and were greeted by our fantastic server, Nico (not sure how she spells her name!). She explained how the kiosks worked and what the games are like. We were able to choose our own difficulty levels and pick from several different game options. My son and I had such a great time playing all of them - fun little workout too. I decided to wait until after our play session to eat, so once we finished, we moved over to a table near the bar for lunch. My son had the slider kids meal, and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious! We recently hosted a book club event here for a group of 24, and while the staff was friendly and did the best they could on what was clearly a busy night, the overall experience fell short. Our biggest issue was the space. All 24 of us were expected to eat, drink, and take turns playing in one small designated area. It quickly became overcrowded and uncomfortable. Every time someone went to play, others had to squeeze by those trying to eat, and several members of our group ended up barely touching their food because there simply wasn't enough room. To make matters more frustrating, one of the game bays kept malfunctioning. The soccer balls stopped dispensing, and we had to wait for a technician to fix it. Since our play time was timed, we lost valuable minutes just waiting for the game to work. The food was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. Honestly, the best part of the evening was simply spending time with our group. If I were to host another large event here, I would only do so if there were separate spaces for dining and gameplay. Trying to combine both in one small area didn't work well for a group our size. I still think Toca Social is a fun concept, and I'd return with a smaller group, but I don't think it's the best setup for larger gatherings based on this experience. read more

Finally, a non-golfing place!! This was such a cool experience. We were whisk away from arrival to our assigned box, given the run down and were taken care of. We received updates via SMS preparing us for arrival, so we didn't look like a lost puppy. The games were fun but need more variety. There are about 5-6 games, and they can go kind of quick. They are fun with varying difficulty. I also think there is a missed opportunity with the young family segment. Especially ones with littles. They could make a game where littles could throw the ball vs kick at targets (you know they can barely throw - but would fun and interactive for them). Also open earlier mid-day for those that want to get out the house. The drinks from the bar were good. We didn't order food this round. Another opportunity could be a membership fee. Top golf offers one for $20 a month, get 1 hour of play but free apps any time you visit. We signed up. We initially signed up for 45 mins and was able to extend another 30 mins and it went into happy hour. We had just ordered our second round of drinks, but the HH pricing they were all nearly more than half off. Total bummer or we would have waited. If they offered to honor the HH prices, we certainly would have ordered food. Our host took care of us and was great to talk to. The upstairs patio is great views and there is corn hole there. I hear they have a DJ for those grown-up nights. All in all, great place! Would certainly host a company team building event here too. read more

TOCA Social is such a fun experience! The space is bright, energetic, and really well laid out. Everything feels modern and thoughtfully designed, and the atmosphere makes it a great place to hang out whether you're with friends, family, or bringing the kids. The staff was fantastic--friendly, helpful, and on top of everything. Honestly, that's especially impressive considering we went during opening weekend when places are usually chaotic. They handled everything like pros. It's truly fun for all ages and a great activity if you're looking for something different to do. The only things I'd love to see improved: * A few more game options would be great. * The lanes could be about 5 feet longer for a little more play space. My husband and I had a great time here. We had no idea what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised at how elevated the experience was. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was playful, and the food and drinks were decent! You could bring a BIG group of people here and have a great time, or have a date night like us and still have a great time. It's basically "top golf" but with a soccer and indoors. I heard about the opening of Toca Social via social media, and me being a lifelong soccer player, I had to go check it out. When we walked in the entrance was a super cool light tunnel, and we were greeted by an energetic worker welcoming us into the building. How the building is set up is that there are individual "boxes" where the games take place that you rent for a certain amount of time, and in each of them is a screen and a soccer ball launcher. We got into the box and were given an introduction of how everything worked, along with a server taking drink orders. We then create our own profiles on the big screen in our box and selected a game to play. There were about 5 different game modes and all of them were extremely fun and short. The thing I loved about Toca was that any skill level could play the games and still have a lot of fun. For food, we ordered a small side of fries that were good. They have a big menu with many different selections to choose from but we were there more to play the games. This place was amazing with very wonderful staff. I just got a sneak peak of the new attraction opening this week and it was a blast!!! I haven't played soccer in years and I didn't wear the right shoes (found out you can rent them if needed) but we still managed to play several rounds. The games are easy to manage and they have several different themes and skill levels to choose from. You basically kick soccer balls at a screen/targets to rack up points. You play in a game box so your group gets its own area. The games were a blast, the venue is high energy, service was outstanding and the food tasted great. What's not to love? As with many new businesses, you usually expect a hiccup or two. If anything wasn't going as planned, you couldn't tell. I was impressed by how knowledgeable all the staff members were. They really helped make us feel welcome in a new high-tech feeling environment. This would be great fun for all ages! I plan to set up a team building here ASAP. They also have a lot of space rental options if you want to bring bigger groups. Even if you aren't athletic (maybe you just want to blow off some steam after a hard day), this is a fun way to unwind and have some laughs. read more

Came here yesterday with a group of friends and it was such a great night! Our waiter, Cam was very attentive. He explained how everything works & made sure we were good throughout the night. The DJ did not miss a beat either, he was playing hit after hit! The food was also a hit. We got wings, Birria tacos, french fries, and brussels sprouts. Only giving them this because I'd like to have faith but honestly we had a bad experience today. The first area/bay that we were place broke down within 15 minutes. Within those 15 min , it was pure chaos. we had little direction from our server as to what we needed to do, the food we ordered didn't come out correctly and when asked about fries that we had ordered we were told "oh the kitchen thought you didn't want them" which was very unclear as to why they thought that. Plus the fries tasted like they were old and re-heated. We were pretty sure our waitress just didn't put in our order as we had to ask 3 times for our kids Shirley temples. Then once they moved us because the area/bay area was now broken down, we moved to the next place only to have it break down with 15 min. Each time we had to re-start, now they did add time for us as it was a huge inconvenience esp on Father's Day. They said they were sold out, but it was not packed. The drinks took forever and when we tried to just go to the bar to grab them we were told to wait for our waiter but we didn't see him for over 15 minutes as we saw our drinks waiting for us. Then I had to send back a drink that was very gross to find out the bartender decided to switch lemon and lime juice. I would say the experience was fun but the drinks and food- skip as this was a 1 star. Then To add onto this, we had a random person come and tell us it was their time to play and for us to leave. Apparently, at check-in they were given the number bay we were at and suppose to start but we had another 30 min to play. At this point we told our waitstaff we were highly upset and shouldn't have to deal with all of this. They moved the other family but still having to stop what we were doing (which everything is timed) to handle this was not okay. Not to mention this person was upset and rightly so. Never did a manager come over to apologize and they did give us a coupon that they told us was for an hour free but when we checked it's just for 50% off. Came in just for food and drinks. The beer and drink menu was actually pretty good for an entertainment restaurant with beers including Guinness. The food however was not great the corn ribs were very sour with a lot of tajin. The wings weren't crispy and the wing flavors were all pretty bland. The "hottest" wing flavor was franks red hot which wouldn't even be called a medium at any other restaurant. The mango habanero was lacking any habanero spice. The Carolina bbq was actually a good flavor and not a disappointment because we were expecting any heat from those. The tots were good but the ranch they come with was very thick. Overall it's a good vibe with loud music and good drinks but the food could use a lot of work. Take all of this with a grain of salt because this was the opening week and I'm sure they are still trying to find their groove. Service was great though. read more
