This is a truly hidden (like, literally) gem in Milwaukee. Entrance is so hidden away in a dark,…read morecreamy street, that I wonder hours I found it in the first place. Don't expect anything. Just go if you're wanting a fun experience with puzzles and games and card games... and experience the life of a spy. I have been at different times of the week, but do find it most fun on the weekends when there are more people. It's more a fun experience than a dinner place. Food is ok, but not for the foodie. It's for the inner spy in you. Mission impossible Burger with potato chips Burger was nicely flavored, nothing crazy to rave about but still yummy. Furtive Fish fry Bit salty, and breading completely detached from the fish. But still a good crunch and the fish was very well seasoned. Broccolini salad good, nice complement to the fish fry SpyPA Told this was an IPA from Lakefront, but didn't really have the kick of an IPA. Would not get it again. So food, pretty safe. Experience - something you won't find anywhere else.

The fries were great and the thunderballs were simple but tasty. The tacos were okay, just a bit heavy on the guacamole for my taste. Overall, it's a place to go more for the experience.

Have come here occasionally over the last 40 years. As a matter of fact, it was one of the first…read morerestaurants I took my wife to when we started dating. It's an iconic spot that still seems to have a strong following of loyal customers. We came with another couple who also have a long history of dining here. Food: It is most definitely a traditional supper club, but without the relish tray. The menu has a large selection of seafood, steaks, salads, and a few other assorted entrées. We settled on a rib steak for me and the scallops and pasta for her. Before the entrées, we each had a side salad, which came with a couple of nice-sized loaves of warm bread. A delicious start to the meal. The entrées arrived without much delay. The rib steak was cooked to my liking, medium rare, and had nice flavor. It was a little tough, but I'm the kind of person who doesn't mind a bit of chew. My wife would not have enjoyed it. Her scallops and pasta were good; however, there was the occasional bit of sand grit. Both meals had good flavor and portions large enough to require to-go containers. Service: We had terrific service the entire evening. I would say that Lisa was the most kind and helpful server I've had here. She made sure we were well cared for, kept our drinks refreshed, and checked that everything was to our liking. Thanks, Lisa. Atmosphere: To me, it doesn't seem like much has changed over the last 40 years. The place has received a lot of TLC. It has a genuine warmth to it. The rooms, and there are many, have character and classic charm. I'm not a big fan of the "buy one, get one" pricing. I understand that restaurants have to charge enough to make money, no issue there. For me, simply stating the price for each meal would be my preference. It's still a wonderful, iconic restaurant that we love to return to.
