As expected, the process was completely FUBAR, and I was unable to place an order using the app. So I went to DoorDash, but balked at paying an extra $5 to pick up the same sandwich. This place has gone downhill! They close at 3:00 PM every day and they are closed on Sundays. What I dislike even more is the customer service. Waited another 25 minutes for my pastrami with extra meat. Got home no extra pastrami. Tipped on online. $17 Never again. The poor guys behind me that also ordered online (waiting for 5 sandwiches) will be there for long time. Stop taking online orders or give the right time the order will be made. As soon as we walked in, we were met with hostility and we tried as best as we could to be friendly hoping to change the way he was treating us (after all, he's the one making our sandwiches!) n as we were asking about the types of breads they had, the man provided short one word answers. As he finished our sandwiches after what seemed like a really long time, another employee came in n the glare he sent shooting over at her could be felt by all who saw that exchange. We asked about a combo- if the chips n drinks came together n he said yes. When we paid, I realized we didn't get our cups, n we asked for them. He proceeded to argue with us that a combo is only the chips...we weren't gna argue about a freaking soda so we just asked for water cups to share the one drink we did have. I have visited Togo's in Danville on San Ramon Valley Blvd three times and they were out of something to make my sandwich or salad. One time they were out of Pastrami, another time it was Sesame Seeds to put on the Asian Chicken Salad, and this week they didn't have Russian Dressing to put on the Pastrami Reuben. I left and went to the Togos in Danville at Black Hawk or the one in Dublin near Target and Sprouts. I do not recommend this Togo's because they aren't always reliable to have ingredients needed to make their sandwiches and salads. read more

I should have known when I called to place an order and was put on hold by a woman who never came back that I should go elsewhere, but my friend reminded me of how good their tuna sandwiches are, so I jumped in the car and ordered in person. The tuna was fine, but the sourdough bread was tough and horrible to eat! It had the texture you get when you put bread in the microwave for too long. The kids working here are nice. I like the salad dressing that goes with the Asian Chicken Salad and I'd just moved to the area so i figured I'd get to know my new (to me) local Togo's, so I went there last Saturday. Like I said, the kids working here are nice. And the nice kid made me a "full" salad that only occupied half of the box. That was disappointing, however I like Togo's and so I figured I'd go back the next day, mention it to whoever made my salad and surely they would not make the same mistake again. So I roll up the next day (Sunday) and they did not make the same mistake twice. Instead, they were CLOSED. A sandwich place closed on a Sunday? Yes. Closed. So yesterday, still wanting to endear myself to the local Togo's team, I head there right after work. And guess what? They were CLOSED! I guess they don't want to see any food to the dinner crowd so they close right before @ 5 everyday. They are the only franchise close to me. I was going to leave 2 stars because the crew was nice and I like the salad dressing and then i read another review that said they're always running out of stuff and it reminded me that the day I want they were out of cucumbers and something else that I can't remember right now. I have been eating at TOGO's since the 1970's. This is not my first visit. I come here VERY often, weekly as I treat my staff to LUNCH every Saturday I have to work. Our favorites are the Pastrami and Turkey avocado or cream cheese sandwiches, tuna and egg salad too. We order before noon, Sometimes our order is ready sometimes not,,, no matter -I am willing to wait. Service has noticeably IMPROVED with the recent changes of employees. Today, I received an email for $1 OFF your Tuna Melt. Watching my budget, I decided to go in. "Sorry sir, we are OUT of TUNA". Not an issue, I changed my order to Egg Salad. I think the sandwich maker was scraping the bottom of the bowl - not much egg in today's sandwich. I'm okay with this as I'm watching my waistline too. As I mentioned I am a REGULAR customer. This happens a little too often for a sandwich shop. OUT of Pastrami, OUT of Chicken, OUT of Tuna salad, OUT of Egg Salad , you get the idea. I never complain, as most of the time I am in there, there is a customer before me giving the employees a hard time. I have not seen certain employees there lately,, so possibly the SERVICE and ACCURACY (of making sandwiches as ordered) has improved because of the changes. If business is good, then by all means Business as Usual,, but from the looks of many 1 and 2 Star ratings,, most of which are TRUE complaints,, you may want to work on a few important issues. Don't give your customers issues to complain about. Note: I have ordered $40 to $60 in sandwiches, on a few occasions your Rewards system is down or the cashier does not know what buttons to push. I would be told that the manager will add the rewards for me later. Or I have been promised a free sandwich when I come in next week. I've never called the employees on this promise, but the $$$ I've spent could have resulted in a few small rewards for this Regular Customer. Ordering online results in a wait EVERY time. Don't bother ordering on line. When I did, I received an email saying my order would be ready in 20 mins. It took over an hour and I could tell they hadn't even started the order when I first arrived to pick it up. I waited in the online pick up area for five minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there and then the woman told me she's told others to start my order (like it wasn't her problem) and went back to ignoring me. Excellent customer service at this Togo's location! Their young staff are smiling and welcoming-even during the busy lunch time rush. The parking is easy and the location is bright and clean. As with other Togo's locations, the farmers market salad wrap is my usual order. It did not disappoint-fresh veggies and spring mix and they didn't skimp on the crumbled feta. They honor the Yelp check in offer of a free 20 oz. drink and kept the line moving. It was nearly out the door when I arrived but I was helped and on my way in 10 minutes. I love to get lunch at Togo's and I'm sad to say this is the worst Togo's I have been to! They are always out of stuff. My last 2 visits the soda machine was broken. I went in today and was 3rd in line and the first customer requested a pretzel bun (which it the largest advertisement on the menu board) they were out. The next customer ordered a meatball sandwich but they were out of meatballs so he had to order something else. When it was my turn they ran out of ham. HAM. A sandwich shop basic. While they were making my sandwich the guy that was before me in line came back and wanted his money back on the drink because the soda machine "tasted weird" I saw a post on here about this shop being under new ownership but I don't see how that is an improvement. I've been working across the street for 4 years and this is the worst it's ever been. I came in on Sunday night. It had been a long weekend, and all I wanted to do was to grab a couple of sandwiches and get bring them home. When I arrived, about 45 minutes before closing, I was surprised at how nice and modern the place looked. There was a family of three in front of me and two guys were moving quickly to fill that family's order. Ok, that's cool, not a big deal, I can wait a few minutes, they are hustling. One of the guys looks up, greets me and tells me it will be a moment. He then goes behind the doors in back and gets another sandwich maker out. The gal he brought out was awesome. She was friendly, fast and made a couple of great Sandwiches. One of the things that really impressed me is she didn't have to ask the same question over and over as it sometimes happens. While making the sandwiches, she engaged in the polite small talk trying to make the experience better. My weekend wasn't a relaxing one, so I wasn't much for conversation, but she remained positive and friendly. Kudos to you, you did a terrific job! The only reason this Togo's gets 2 stars is because the lady making the sandwiches was so nice. The floor was so sticky our shoes got stuck walking inside there. The beverage area was a mess, no straws, no lids, cartridge boxes for the machine left all over the counter. My bread (sourdough) was so hard I had to drive back and have them remake my sandwich and the lady was super nice, but said "yeah sorry it is 2 days old do you want white instead", like who serves 2 day old bread, isn't fresh bread the reason we all go to sandwich shops like this.
