been a long time not visiting taco bell. used to work with taco bell in san ramon before, back in nine years ago. anyway, i think the location in danville is spacious, cozy, and nice. order through kiosk and the great thing about the kiosk is they provide the screens near each entrance door. they sell alcohol beverages here but i guess only at night. anyway, regarding the foods: * crispy chicken: taste great and make sure using taco bell sauce. the only thing that needs improvement is the size: as you can see one is pretty big but the others are quite small * crispy taco and chalupa supreme: great and seriously they prepare it nicely. lettuce and cheese and even the beef not shatter on the wrapping paper * nacho fries: recommended this combo is quite cheap and affordable and i am sure will satisfy your tummy... read more

I stopped in for shelter from the rain and was pleasantly a surprise to learn it was happy hour. Ambient wise it's very clean, well lit and pleasant. The music selection was fun and light, a good variety for the multi- generations. I didn't have any food but tried the berry peach slushy cocktail. I also appreciated the service. I held my 40th birthday party here in November and it was a hit! Pedro was very easy to work with, communicated regularly and made sure everything was just perfect. All of the guests showed up expecting a regular Taco Bell and were pleasantly surprised with the outdoor area. We had half of the indoor area as well, where the DJ and buffet were set up. I was allowed to bring in decorations and a cake. Pedro made sure it remained stocked all night and let guests make requests. He even made sure my gluten free guest had something to eat. This is a very good place for take-out. All our family does is take-out so we have a lot of experience in the Danville area. First, the app really helps with deciding ahead of time, and they uniformly give us a free regular menu item for ordering on the app. It does not appear to matter how far ahead you order, as they make it on the spot anyway once you show up in line. This is good, as the food is fresher. The only drawback is that they sometimes forget an item, especially the sauces, but taking a quick check before going home fixes that. The food is good, and exactly what we expect from Taco Bell. I don't know why so may people hate it online. read more

We rented the patio out for the Super Bowl. It was nice! We had ~30 friends show and everyone paid their own tab. It was a fun concept. The staff were excellent and so kind to the group! I was a bit disappointed that there weren't more food options. They didn't have cinnamon or strawberry twists and some other key items. Shout out to this amazing little taco cantina! My 2nd visit ever-well, since I've been adult for 2 decades, and I was pleasantly surprised! Rode home in the crazy wind on my motorcycle from Carmel to sac late one night, decided to grab a taco and take a break. Only drive through was open, with 20 min to close. Oh boy do I take an ungodly amt of time ordering anything anymore- too many options, and the prices kinda overwhelmed me. I'm mid enough to remember when tacos were $1.19 here! It's triple now. I'm not even triple! But I was slow and indecisive- even so, the drive through guy let me pull forward and was patient with me, maybe a bit forced at first but he was cool. I pulled back around n ordered through the intercom, sat outside in the lot and ate my quickly prepared tacos and nacho chips. Dude, the taco was filled with meat! So juicy, so crispy, super yum, I had to get another. I pulled around on my bike again, and he let me duplicate. I was a little sheepish feeling bad to be the only customer, and right before closing too. They still happily made my order AND threw in a big box of nacho fries and cinnamon balls as extra. Turns out the front guy was the manager! So so nice! The whole team! You guys made my night, and helped ease my ride home some believe it or not. Thank you guys! BTW, your location rocks!! I had about 17 minutes before work across the street so I ordered one supreme taco and a regular drink, to be quick. There is no one at the counter as they want to push people to use the kiosk. It took that entire time for me to get that singular taco, and since I had to rush back to work, I did not get to realize they did not give me supreme but gave me regular instead. The lobby is narrow where you order, I was the only person in when I ordered but about 10 minutes into waiting people piled in and it was very cramped. Newly Opened Taco Bell Cantina! Since yesterday 01/03 until 01/06 they will have special promos going on. I went today right at noon and there were only a few cars ahead of us. We were in and out of line in less than 5 minutes! The promo today 01/04 is free combo meals for whoever is present in the car. My brother-in-law got the #6 combo with chicken quesadilla and I got the #5 combo with two beef chalupas. We got about $20 worth of food for free!! I want to go back again tonight and tomorrow haha The restaurant officially opens 01/06 and they will only sell alcoholic beverages inside the store and won't offer it in their drive-thru for obvious reasons. Well it's a Taco Bell with a bar... I'm not a big fan of Taco Bell so I guess 3 stars for a bar is worthy. One thing to note at the bar, they have a new way to fill your cup. They have these special cups that fill up from the bottom, they press down on a special tap and the cup fills up and quickly. Very cool concept, if you haven't seen it come check it out. The outdoor seating is a nice setup, TVs, fire pits, heat laps, music playing and all around a clean patio. Would I come back.. not sure, but I'm glad I checked it out read more

I've been going here for years to pick up lunch or breakfast before work. Pulled up to drive-thru and no one says anything, I was saying "hello" a voice came on and said "we open in 2 minutes"??? That was odd, I've usually picked up by 8:30, I said ok if you open at 9:01 I'll just wait here (it was 8:59) she finally said "FINE, what do you want" (ok) total attitude at the beginning of shift is not a good sign, she asked how many hot sauces I wanted, I said 6, she gave me 3, I said can I please have 3 more, she literally scooped up about 20 and basically threw them at me. Located on Front and Hartz where the old Burger King used to be, Taco Bell Cantina launched a soft opening this weekend with free--yes, FREE-- combo meals during select hours via its drive through. That's certainly a great way to introduce yourself to the neighborhood. My sister, husband and I drove down to check out the new Taco Bell Cantina for ourselves last night. The line stretched down and around the block with cars full of Taco Bell fans hungry for Crunchwraps, Doritos tacos and chicken quesadillas. The service was courteous, friendly and pretty efficient, especially for a soft opening. The food itself was hot, familiar and hit the spot. Tomorrow is the official opening. We'll be back for sure. I stopped in here on a Thursday night with my friend and was pleasantly surprised by this Taco Bell Cantina! The interior is clean and modern with a nice indoor/outdoor bar setup. Classic Taco Bell menu and you place your food order at the kiosk when you walk in and then there is a nice fire pit area to sit outside. The service was great and the staff checks in on you to make sure you have everything you need. I think what really made the experience great was the bartender Brittany was fantastic- very personable and friendly and makes delicious drinks! Definitely have her make you a drink while you're there, you won't be disappointed! This Taco Bell cantina had a full service bar so a lot more options than your standard slushy drinks like a Baja Blast. Overall, I'm happy there is finally a place open so late in downtown Danville to grab drinks! Can't wait for the next visit. read more

That's my team right there! Change absolutely nothing. I love seeing their warm welcoming faces. The food is always accurate and fresh.

I haven't had great experiences with this location specially. The drive thru was okay, I just asked for extra sauce packets and we weren't given any so I had to park and go inside to get some. The time we went inside we stood at the register for 10-15 minutes before anyone came out of the back. A worker finally did, walked right by us and then went to the back for a few more minutes before coming out to help us. The drinks also had to be order separately from the bar so you cannot pay for them all together. After we ordered our food we asked the guy helping us if we could go over and order drinks at the bar, he said he would have to get us someone else to pour the alcohol. After a few minutes of waiting for another worker, we decided to sit and eat out food, about halfway through the meal someone finally came out to help us with our drinks. Normally I am super understanding if a restaurant is busy and have no problem waiting, but my boyfriend and I were 1 of two small groups inside. I recommend just using the drive thru. read more

I never thought I'd see the day where I'd give a Taco Bell 5 stars, or eat there as an adult willingly. What a lovely surprise this place is. When our friend told us we had to stop at this specific location on our way back from Tahoe, I seriously laughed. Wow, was he right!! This space is amazing!! Couldn't believe the beach patio space was really a Taco Bell. It felt like a cozy hangout! Everything was very clean, the patio is great, and must importantly, the food tasted actually good!! I doubt any other locations taste this great. So, go to this location next time you're in the area, it's awesome. Not your average Taco Bell! I'm not sure why the other reviews didn't include better pictures but if you take a quick look at the pictures I've included you can clearly see that Taco Bell stands above the rest! In short this Taco Bell Cantina is basically Taco Bell with alcohol and many other amenities. This Taco Bell Cantina sports 5-6 large TV's inside the indoor dining area with 2 additional large TV's outside. Live sports were on the TV's while I was there. Outside there is a large dinning area with many tables, oversized lounge seats, a firepit and patio heaters. This Taco Bell also provides outdoor games such as corn hole and an oversized connect four. Other notes. The bartender said this is the only Taco Bell Cantina in the country that has a full bar; Taco bell Cantinas typically only serve the premade margarita/sangria slush drink. There are also about 5-6 beers on tap. They have a happy hour Monday-Friday 2-5PM but its only like $2 off select drinks. Overall the entire place is relatively new, well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. It's worth noting that I went a Friday evening around 630 when it was about 85 degrees outside. The entire patio area at that time was all in the shade so it was very pleasant outside. What is strange is that the place was completely empty it was really just my family and a couple other customers. Almost forgot... the food menu is the same as any other local Taco Bell. This review obviously wasn't for the food. Lastly... I found out about this place because I was listening to sports radio KNBR host Grep Papa talk about the Taco Bell Cantina. He said this was a hidden gem in current hometown of Danville and where he sometimes hangs out here to watch sports... If I lived closer to here I'd probably watch some sports here also for this reason: cheap food, cheap drinks and lots of open seating... read more

I've received one Cheesy Gordita Crunch from this location even though I've ordered one three separate times. I don't think you need to read further, but the food does not taste very "fresh". It's a Taco Bell with alcohol. What more should i say? Nice place to hang out all day. (Literally was there for 6 hours one time). The outside patio has fire pits and heaters to keep you warm at night, TVs, nice bathroom decor (below i attached a photo while dropping a dookie) and the music is decent. Workers are cool af. If you're lucky you'll be able to catch some local fights by the fire pits. I would give this place 6 stars but 5 is the only options. Shame on you people for giving this place any less than 5 stars. Everyone's complaining about the drive thru service. You come here for drinks. Not the food you idiots. And double deckers suck. I'm glad they charged you extra to make that. RIP Burger King. So disappointed! A friend drove me to a doctor appointment, on the way back we stopped at this new-ish Danville Taco Bell Cantina drive-thru. Friend ordered two crunchy beef tacos and a chicken quesadilla. I said I'll have the same. Friend said - "those are two separate orders." Speaker voice said "We can't do that. It has to be one order." What??? "No," my friend says - "there are two of us - they're separate." "No - it will be one order, four beef tacos and two chicken quesadillas" the voice says. OK whatever. So we get the "sealed for your safety" bag. Friend drives me home, I open bag to figure out how to divide the food in the car so she can take hers home. Four tacos and ONE quesadilla! So $18.99 for that! I had to go into my house to divide the quesadilla. Ridiculous that two people can't each have their own orders - and that this Taco Bell can't count to two (but can charge for two). Also hate that (typical of so many drive-thrus) the menu is at the speaker, so you can't decide what you want before you order. What's up with that? Won't be back. One star because I can't give zero. I have been to this location many times with friends and family. I would like to say my experience is great most of the time but sadly it isn't . All the workers there are very sweet except this one guy. He has been nothing but rude. I'm not the only person who has dealt with this. My friend asked for three cups from a different lady and as we waited for are order that had drinks the man came to us and said he's gonna call the cops on us for stealing soda. he would not let us explain what had happened . I have social anxiety so having someone yell at you for having a cup with 5 cents worth of soda in it had me stressed out and my friend offered to pay for the drinks. He yelled at us like crazy and got in our faces. I swear I felt the spit come out of his fat ugly mouth. I'm very disappointed. The place is clean, up to date and they have an indoor bar area and a window that serves a small outside bar with stools. The patio has a very nice seating area with heaters, a firepit and a grassy (artificial turf) area that has TVs as well as TV's inside. Wow this was my first time at a Taco Bell Cantina ever! I had such a great experience. Huge shout out to Ashley, Logan, and James for such a warm welcome and amazing customer service. A couple years ago TB took tostada's off the menu. It was the main item I have eaten since I was a child there. I'm gluten free & almost everything has some type of grain or oat,including the meat. Other TBs accommodate me by selling each ingredient separately & I make my tostada's. A local TB is so kind & charges for a bean burrito & makes a tostada. This TB won't do either. They have the ingredients & refuse. We even explained how they can but they won't. They lost our familys business. read more
