I picked up food to go from here. It was quiet in the restaurant and my food came out pretty quickly. I had a not so good experience here a while ago but today I'm happy to say I was treated with respect and the customer service was good. I ordered 5 Lemon Chicken wings mild. And an order of Mac n Cheese. Both were really good. I enjoy the wings because they're flavorful the Mac n Cheese was hearty and flavorful. I asked and was told it's made with Alfredo sauce and some seasonings with breadcrumbs. I liked that it's not from a box. It's made fresh so I'm definitely a fan when something is made homemade in a restaurant. I'm glad I went back and tried this place again. We got the pesto sauce with pepperoni and mild sausage. 8.7/10 and fully satisfied my pizza cravings. The only negative is it's EXPENSIVE. But you pay for quality! Wings were a very nice size and had a good lemon marinade flavor. Pesto linguine was fresh and sauce was very light which we enjoyed. Overall this is a solid place to have a well rounded meal. Our experience with this restaurant is just unacceptable poor services, we got there at 5:38pm decided to sit outdoors for a nice weather evening. The waitress takes more than 15mins to bring us the water, menu, table is dirty has some oil. She never clean or noticed. We have to clean it ourselves. Takes another 10-15 mins for her to come back to take our order, in between time she mostly disappeared. The table seated after us get their drinks and order before us for unknown reason. We have to waited like 45mins for the food to come, without napkins, plates and utensil. The manager is the one who brought us the food she is following after and go back to get us plates and I asked for forks and napkins. Has to wait for her to go get it but salad has not dressings. The manager did bring most of the food together. Except our waitress has never give us the bread. Again wehave to try to catch her again to get the dressing for our salad and asked for the bread. At that time the table who came 10 mins after us they already finished their food and left. The entire meal from a dinner we get there around 5:45pm finally finished and able to leave is 2 hours later. My husband asked for our bill, he paid her and I decided to leave first with the kids. He was sitting there another 10 mins for her to realized he is still waiting to sign and get his credit card back. He has to asked for the check to sign and card back. She told him that she thought we left already. Well, he was sitting at the table waiting for the check and card to come back the entire time. And, she never comes back until much later. It is too much wait time, food was not very good. The pizza and one pasta are ok, the lasagna is very watery is like being frozen so has a lot of water on the bowl. Good that we are not on clock for work. It is weekend Saturday night but they are not very busy. We do still have other things to do afterwards, really did not expected a quiet early evening before a long dinner. I understand she waitress maybe new or usually do front desk not really a regular waitress but she could have bring us the plates, fork set and bread and salad first. We did ordered family style. But, she let us waited over 45mins with just cups of water. We almost decided to leave to go somewhere else for better service. I should've read the reviews a little more closely before eating at Amici's in Danville. We used to get pizza at the San Mateo location (closed now) and it was always delicious...greasy, but delicious. We ate at their now closed location in Dublin a few years ago and it was delicious. Yesterday's lunch was anything but. The $45 (exlcuding tax) large pizza was dry (??) and overcooked. Simply put, it didn't have nearly enough sauce on it. Meatballs are easy to make, but theirs were a bit tough and tasteless. How can that be? The antipasto salad had what seemed like store-bought Gallo sliced salami and grated mozerella. Typical antipasto salads have generous chunks of both salami and cheese. For $17, it was quite expensive for what you got. The waitress was very nice and gave us warm rolls and extra sauce to take home because I said the pizza was way too dry. Won't be back, unfortunately. read more

Review is for Doordash delivery: We were originally planning on lunch from Curry Pizza House, but then found that their Tandoori Wings were off the Doordash menu. A quick search of backup options led us to Amici's, which has marinated. flame-roasted chicken wings! They also have a wide range of specialty pizzas. One thing to note is that their prices seem higher than other pizza places in the area. The lemon wings had good flavor but I did find the meat on the dry side. Their Italian Mustard sauce is good here as it adds a bit of tanginess. An order of 10 wings and drums costs about $16, so definitely on the pricey side. For the pizza, I got the 13-inch Siciliano, a cheesy pizza with broccoli and Italian sausage with a nice spicy kick. The crust was thin, but more leathery than crispy. I did find the pizza on the oily side though. Overall 3-stars for me. Pizza a bit pricier than our usual favorite pizzas in the Tri-Valley while quality is about average. read more

We love Amici's and just had to have their Kale and Sausage pizza last night! We stopped by this location and it was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was tasty as always. We ordered the Garlic Breadsticks (in the photo), I did ask for them to "not be burnt" and they do look like what I'd call burnt, but I understand that can be subjective. They were still very good, and we ate them all up, I will probably just say lightly cooked next time? The pizza is amazing, the flavors are so on point. The garlic and nuts pine nuts that are on the Kale and Sausage make it over the top delicious! I can't look at other pizza the same anymore :( Amici's has changed my entire perspective on pizza!! Total fail tonight. The delivery guy handed me two pizzas along with a couple bags of food. My husband placed the order so I didn't question it until I set everything down. We order - EVERY SINGLE TIME a large, light crust, black olive pizza. Literally every time. I immediately called and told the young woman that we obviously got some else's two pizzas she asked if I wanted to get a refund or have the pizza order remade - I said, "I want it remade because I have a teenager who is hungry and wants a pizza" somewhere between this message and hanging up she lost the content of the message. I called again 45 minutes later asking when the pizza would arrive and she says "oh when we asked you if you wanted it remade or refunded, you said refund". WTH!!! I did not! How the hell do you misunderstand what I said!!! She then wants to know if they should start a new order - oh but wait - she needs to see if she's got a driver. She gets back on the phone to let me know it's going to be 45 minutes before the pizza gets to me. I hope the manager or one of the owners reads this because this employee is not paying attention has no customer service acumen and should be retrained regarding what she dies for the customer. This my 1st time coming here. I had to go to the hair store high is just across from there and I was so hungry so I saw this place and came in . I ordered Large combo pizza and they said it will be ready in 15 mins so I went out side then came back 15 mins later to pick up my pizza. I open the box and the pizza is not even hot. I got a slice and it was maybe cold to warm. They gave me their old pizza bc I got it to go. I will never return to this place because this is how they sell pizza. I feel robbed. The best part of our visit was the helpfulness of the staff. I brought the wife and daughters here for Valentine's Day dinner. The parking lot was packed, so we thought that there would be a wait. We walked in and half the tables were available. We were greeted right away and seated within a minute. While waiting that brief time, I noticed a specials board near the door that looked like they have daily specials Mon-Thurs. We waited a few minutes for a waitress to come by. When she arrived, I asked about the special. She told us that on Thursdays, you can get 4 toppings free on any pizza, AND because it was Valentine's Day, Prosecco is free and ice cream is free. That was a wonderful surprise! And we thought Valentine's Day would be a hassle. There were 2 waitresses handling the dining room. A third young woman came out to the dining room a couple of times, but I think she was only helping to deliver food. We didn't see her taking orders. About 5 minutes after we placed our order, the second waitress checked on us, just to make sure that we had been helped. The service was kind of slow, but we were in no hurry anyway. The atmosphere was generally warm and welcoming, but sitting near the door, we would get an occasional cold breeze coming in. They have a great list of toppings, more than you usually see around here. We tried 3 different combinations and one cheese pizza. The best combination we got was garlic clams and bacon. They have a short wine list, but it is more than adequate for a pizza place. The Prosecco was Bocelli and the ice cream was Three Twins. That was a nice surprise too. read more

Their Cesar is the very best salad I have enjoyed anywhere - fresh greens, high quality sliced chicken, incredible home made dressing, even the croutons are delicious!
