I love Togo's. The #9 has been my goto for 30yrs. I tried the Pretzelrami a few months ago & loved it. I had another on Xmas eve. I ventured out & asked for a side of au jus. I got the large and couldn't finish it. The regular has more than enough meat. Service 5outta5 The young man was cordial & made sure he got my order right. Pretzelrami 2outta5 Don't get me wrong, it tasted great. I enjoyed it, but it didn't agree w/me & made for an extremely rough three days. Respectfully, I love the service from both the male and female. They are very amazing. That's why I won't rate them a 1 . As far as the food was concerned, I think everyone should pass on the "pastrami cheesesteak" without hesitation. I'm a pastrami lover so I'm kinda sadden that my sandwich ain't hit how I was expecting. I took one bite and put it right back inside the bag. Every so often I decide to get TOGO'S. Every time, it's been a great meal! Recently ordered from UberEats; I got the large Turkey and Roast Beef Cheedar on white bread and all the fixings Hot sandwich w/extra cheese. TOGO'S ingredients are so flavorful to me. My family and I have been enjoying Togo's since the 80's when we lived in Oakland. It has been awhile since stopping here because there are so many sandwich places now. I bought a Turkey with cranberry and a Hot Pastrami. The flavor of the sandwiches were good but there was very little meat in both, and too much bread. I will not be returning. It was empty but it was only 11:00 am. I also purchased 2 scoops of ice cream, the jamocha almond fudge was good but the pralines and cream tasted odd. The service was ok , especially the lady that serves the ice cream. Unfortunately nothing really stood out enough for me to want to return. This review is from 5/12/2021 Went to Togo's tonight. I wasn't happy with the service. I will go into that later. Right now I want to tell you how filthy this store was! It's not just that there is food all over the floor, but it looks like the floor hasn't been cleaned in awhile. It was a mess behind the counter. That's one reason I won't go back to this store. Here is the other... I ordered an Asian salad and two sandwiches thru the app. One thing I don't like about the app is it doesn't allow you to add comments. I am allergic to carrots. Even though I always order the Asian Salad without the carrots/cabbage mix, I still want to point out that I am allergic to carrots to be sure they don't add them to the salad. So I get there to pick up my food. The salad is packed with carrots. I said, "I can't have that salad. It has carrots in it and I am Allergic to them. That's why I ordered the salad without the carrots/cabbage " Salad maker: so you don't want the Asian mix? Me: I want the Asian salad, I just don't want the carrots/cabbage mix. Salad maker: so you don't want the Asian mix! Me: I only want the green onion/cilantro mix. Apparently she didn't know that the salad came with that. I've had this problem in the past. It seems that new employees are placed on the floor without much training. She should know what goes in the salads. I asked for the wonton strips to be on the side. I asked for them to be put in a soup bowl. That is how I get it every time I go there. The salad maker starts to do this for me and her coworker stops her and says to only give me a small salad dressing cup of wontons. She was very rude to me and said they can't give me a soup bowl full unless I pay extra. I told her that I have always gotten the soup bowl before and never had a problem or had to pay extra! She said she can't give it to me unless I pay extra. I told her that I've already paid for my order so I don't want to pay again. She looked at her coworker and said, "give her the little cup". Me: You're kidding me! You're going to give me less wontons than I would have gotten if I had them on top of the salad instead of on the side??!!! Rude lady: I'll go ask my manager. I watch her go to the back. She has what appears to be a heated discussion with whoever was back there. I could not see who she was talking to, I could only see her. She seemed to be pushing back and really wanted to get her way with this! She came back and said... "I'll give it to you this time, but next time you'll have to pay." Then she told the Salad maker to only give me half of the soup bowl because I already on wontons on my salad! Omg! Isn't that how we got here in the first place? I want them on the side! There are currently no wontons on the salad! I could tell the salad maker was very uncomfortable during all this! So, Rude Lady, fine I'll pay extra next time (not really because I'm not coming back) and I expect a refund for not putting all the vegetables on my sandwiches!! Also, are you always so rude to your customers? They are pretty simple and straight forward sandwiches, nothing fancy. I tend to get the turkey avocado, which they load up with avocado. I joined the Togo tribe, which is an app that offers free items, discounts and $5 for every $50 spent. They are already pretty affordable, but why not save more? You can order online for pickup and skip the line. They also do catering, which is really easy for our work meetings. I order a box of sandwiches, cut in half so everyone can pick and choose. HORRRRRIBLE SERVICE. Walked in to order a sandwich, 3 staff members were standing there talking, including what seemed the be a supervisor, she's the only one wearing black. I'm standing there waiting to be helped when the lady sweeping said hey welcome in, which triggered a staff member to finally attend me. I asked for a Regular size sandwich to which she then aggressively says what size!? I look at her and say I SAID A REGULAR. Today I ordered a Hot Pastrami Reuben and There was argument with a customer. The employee that was fixing my sandwich went over and grabbed the other employee sandwich that she was fixing for a customer and put a small amount of meat on it and came back to work on mines. The other customer got upset and told my worker to mind her business and fix your own sandwich for your customer. My favorite sandwich/soup/salad spot. The food is delicious for a great price! The sandwichs are huge and filled with meat, very filling and worth the price. From reading other reviews the biggest issue seems to be the wait time. I personally dont care if i have to wait while they prepare my food because they make great quality food. if i have to wait 10 extra minutes for them to give me quality food thats fine by me! To avoid the wait they also have an app and you can order online. I recently tired Panera for the first time - sandwiches were tiny, not very good and WAY over priced. At togos for my family of 3 ill spend $35, Panera $55 for MUCH less and we were still hungry afterwards. Togo's is a good sandwich shop. Having one on Railroad in PIttsburg is even better. I don't like this area all that much and won't eat around there except for this place and one other. It's located in a small shopping center behind a gas station. Parking use to be better, but the grociery store opened up and it can get pretty full in the lot. Also, this Togo's shares the space with a Baskin Robbins (owned by the came corp). I've only found this location to be like this, so it's unique. Though both businesses share the inside, I've always found plenty of tables and seating available. This is not the happiest crew makin and servin, but it's ok. The food itself is standard Togo's fare. No complaints there. read more

Railroad. Right down the street from me! But holy crap, there are some horrible reviews! I sucked it up and decided I had to see for myself if this togos would be ok. After bracing myself for the worst, I walked in, was immediately greeted, and served my sandwich before walking out in less than 5 minutes. The sandwich is awesome, as all togos are, and there was no wait, or rude and lazy employees. (to be honest, I wouldn't have cared if someone making minimum wage is lazy).
