He's been telling me about this place for a while, so I came in already expecting great sushi, and it definitely delivered. First off, they have all-day happy hour, which is always a win. We started with the yellowtail sashimi, and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful such a great way to kick things off. For drinks, he ordered a Legend Old Fashioned, and I went with the lychee martini... and yes, I had two because it was that good light, slightly sweet, and super refreshing. For our rolls, I got the Hot Momma roll and he had the Julie Crunch roll. Everything came out perfectly fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they put care into both the quality and the experience. Also, shoutout to Emilio he was so sweet and attentive throughout the night and really made the experience even better. Between the food, drinks, and the overall vibe, this place checked all the boxes. I can 100% see this becoming one of our regular date night spots going forward. They also had fried rice nigiri, as in the piece of rice was deep fried and topped with salmon or tuna. This was also interesting to eat. Overall, I can see why this place is very popular but it won't be my go-to for AYCE sushi compared to another place that I like more that's nearby. I always order the Sushi Combo B because it has a bit of everything I like--generous, fresh, well formed nigiri, spider roll (my favorite), california roll, and miso soup. The chef's choice nigiri always seems to have salmon, tuna, and yellowtail but the other four pieces rotate and vary slightly. When we arrived it wasn't busy, but then again it was 6pm on a Monday. The restaurant itself is kept quite clean and it's a tad quiet with no music playing. I'm a regular here and I don't plan on frequenting any other sushi restaurant until I find something that can offer the same quality and quantity at a similar or better price.

She made the whole experience so enjoyable. The manager (Sophie?) was also very welcoming. We were also impressed with the woman with the long braid and shirt that said GURU. It looks like she has earned that nickname. Super speedy. I'm pretty sure she has 8 arms. Upon our next visit we will ask for Kennedy and hopefully we can be sat in the booth next to the kitchen.
