We arrived about 5:30 on a Sunday, it was us and one other table, but quickly filled up plus with the takeouts! Busy. Eating food in is so good, the shrimp tempura was so crispy and crunchy. I passed by this restaurant every time I got off I-295. Finally decided to give it a try. Ordered Hollywood Roll and Four Season (stir fried meat and veggie) for takeout. The owner was friendly and they do get many takeout orders. The sushi tasted good with shrimp tempura but the salmon on the outside was just okay. The Four Season was prepared with dark sauce and slightly on the salty side. However, the portion size is pretty good for the price. Will try other dishes next time. read more

As I am waiting a couple comes in to get immediate greeting and just about waited on. I spoke up to say that I was next and that was that. At the end of my interaction with the cashier/ greeter I asked for a carry bag with handles as the lady that left before me had been given, she said they didn't have any. I mentioned the customer before myself then she refused, I just smiled and left. **Im sure my few dollars will not stop the show but be mindful and aware of how you are serviced at these places. My fiancé and I ordered take out from Idea Asian on a Saturday night. We ordered chicken with broccoli, which came with fried rice and an egg roll, as well as a California roll. They told us the wait was about 30 mins, which wasn't all too bad. Overall, the chicken and broccoli wasn't all that impressive. However, the California roll and egg roll were both very good. We plan on going back to try it again and eat there since it is a BYOB, but I would certainly try more of their sushi and dinner combo platters. read more

I tried... -Alaska Roll: Everything seemed fresh and there was a good rice-to-filling ratio. The avocado was perfectly ripe. -Tuna Trio Roll: This was really nice! It had spicy tuna inside (along with some crunchy bits which I assume were tempura flakes), and red and white tuna layered on the outisde. My friend enjoyed his sushi and egg roll as well. A great idea for a restaurant . What a nice way to end a Sunday. Our meal arrived, relatively, fast and hot...what more can you ask for?! For an appetizer we got the steamed dumplings, yum! So good. Additionally, we ordered the orange chicken and beef Lo mein. Both items were tasty as can be. We could not stop digging in to both. To finish off, we tried the egg rolls. Pretty good! Ordered take out person was fast and rude on phone. Got home and was missing half of order. I called back and person again rude and said you going to pick up? After yelling on phone multiple times that I would pick up because of so much noise in restaurant went back to get food. Mind you this is not around the corner so now my food is cold. They not only did not compensate for us having to come back to get the food and for their rudeness but as we ate our food, the salmon was way overcooked and the chicken wings were sawdust. Idea Asian is the only Asian restaurant our family can eat now. Due to sesame allergies. Yes, they do use sesame in some things, but most of the stuff the person with the allergy used to order, doesn't have it. I get the Chicken Lo Mein everytime, so good!! Their sushi is also some of the best Sushi I've had! It's also only a 5-7 minute drives from our house, so that's a plus! It does usually get busy on the weekends, and they have a smaller restaurant, so we prefer to go on weekdays when we can! read more

Terrible customer service. Every time I order a take out dinner that costs about $20, they would not give forks, spoon, napkin etc. unless asked. They also will not give the fried noodles that comes with it unless asked. The lady upfront shows no customer service skill and acts as if they are doing you a favor by taking your money. read more
