I was very happy to hear that Yukon had a small hibachi place, and even more pleased whenever I tried it! I have eaten here for both dinner and lunch and was very pleased with both the food and the service both times that I was there. The lunch was very reasonable, and the portions were pretty large as well as quite tantalizing to the taste buds. Dinner was the same in my opinion, very tasty and filling. I enjoyed both the chicken and steak and walked away very pleased!\ The one thing about this great little restaurant is just that, it's size... It's a good size for where it's at, but with the 2 big hibachi grills in the middle of the restaurant, seating can be limited. All in all, I loved Tokyo Moon and I plan on returning there many times in my future! If you are tired of the same old stuff in Yukon, give this great little place a try! read more

Just came back from dinner at Tokyo Moon. My wife and I chose 4 sushi rolls. Overall the food was acceptable. I wouldn't call the sushi competitive with the quality of restaurants in OKC proper, but it is priced right. One con for me is that it was a bit loud due to the hibachi cooking. This also makes it a bit more kid friendly. Overall it's great to have another alternative in Yukon. I'll probably be back when I can't drag myself into the city. read more

Sat our party of 5 with a party of 8 at one small hibachi... 13 people at such a small table was terrible planning. Someone in the other party said they only had 2 chefs for the evening, keep in mind we made the reservation over a week ago... Ontop of that the portions were smaller because there were so many people at one table. Part of hibachi dining is the show, not much of a show when half your party is actually seated behind the chef... The wait staff was great, food was bland. Soup was water. I've only tried the Oklahoma and California rolls so far, but Tokyo Moon has the best sushi in Yukon. It surprised me that the fried rice has a grill flavor to it, but I couldn't get enough of it. I'm a sucker for clear soup and I really like all the onion in this soup. I've been several times just to get a couple bowls of the soup to go. I can't wait to go back to try more sushi and all their other items on the menu. read more

The waiter was very helpful when we ordered. I've been here three times, and although the hibachi is very good, the sushi is awesome. We had the aloha roll, and it was delicious and spicy. The value is very good for the money. We also ordered the cheesecake tempura, which was enough for 4 people. It was creamy at the edge where it was warm, and cooler in the center. We came to lunch early October 2016. The staff is friendly etc. but the prices lunch were quite high in our opinions. The menu, for me, was unclear in some ways and what we thought we had ordered (a spicy tuna roll) turned out to be quite different and not enjoyable. I don't normally do reviews but this place rubbed me the wrong way. Very overpriced. Food is mediocre at best. Soup is chicken broth....Really? Where is the miso soup? Service is indifferent at most, kind of dismissive and rude actually. There were about a half a dozen people eating in, and I placed a pick up order. The phone call to place the order was not pleasant. The greeting at the door was not particularly friendly, and I was handed my food and packaged out the door like a commodity. I spent 35 bucks - on myself! I even tipped, which I shouldn't have done. The sushi didn't even have wasabi between the fish and rice. I will admit I haven't tried the hibachi here but the reason we love this place is that the sushi is great! The sassy shrimp roll and the aloha roll are two of our favorites! They all taste great but the sushi rolls are also very neatly prepared and beautiful. The prices are great too! read more

I called over a week ago and made reservations to sit at a hibachi table. We got there timely, but were smashed around a tiny hibachi table. So instead of having the experience at sitting at the hibachi table, most of us sat at a peninsula from the table. They kept the drinks filled wonderfully, and that's where the good part ends. The cook was attempting to cook for 15 people on a tiny hibachi. The portions of rice were really small. Nothing was seasoned. Because had so much to cook on such a small table he kept touching cooked things to raw things. I was afraid to eat my vegetables because I watched him scrape them away from raw chicken. Usually for this price at other places you get a shrimp appetizer, not three little shrimps. It was sub par at best. Way too expensive for what it was. read more

I can't find a roll here that I'd like to eat for a reasonable price that doesn't have cream cheese. Fish and dairy should never be combined. The rice is never cooked well, usually soggy and over cooked. I've never had hibachi here, but they put on a good show. read more

Been here multiple times with good service and food. Attempted to order something different this time and was extremely disappointed in both food and service. Meat fried rice (I got beef but was told all fried rice is made the same way) is their generic dry premade fried rice with seperately fried meat in a sauce placed on top. Don't waste your money. Had to pay full price for 2 bites after I sent it back. Manager then proceeded to explain how they've made it for 10 years that way. I was extremely polite, just explained that wasn't my expectation but he continued to talk down to me. I didn't ask for anything to be charged differently but he made no effort to attempt to make it right just continued to explain that is how they make it. read more

The sushi was good. My boyfriend ordered hibachi and it was a good amount of portion. Wish the sushi came in a little bigger portion for the price. Ordered nigiri and the rice wasn't good. It didn't have the sushi rice taste to it. They should find a new way to make the sushi rice. read more

Food was good but customer service and to go service is awful!! Last 3 times we have ordered to go they have forgot something and aren't willing to make it right!!! Hello All! First, please, allow me to say that i have went to this place bcs of the reviews below. Boy, i am disappointed. I have ordered sushi and hibachi for lunch. The food was below average (i mean the taste). Very very poor lunch selection, for example no bento boxes...??? To address few comments below: 1. If you go to a restaurant and happy to have just a fresh food but not the flavor, well then any place really should work for you. 2. This place has bad (again flavor) sushi and hibachi - salt, soy sauce, and wasabi do not make the sushi!!!! 3. If you refuse to drive more than 5 miles from the house, then macaroni grill will taste like an original italian kitchen... Look, if you visiting this town, better have something else for lunch and dinner. This is not a good place. A $8 hibachi will taste like $8 hibachi no more... an above average place for sushi and hibachi. the portion sizes aren't as big as other places, but it's the best sushi in yukon. the service is great and their prices are about average. they have many types of sushi rolls and specialty rolls, and they have lots of options for their hibachi. it comes with soup and salad also! read more

I've eaten sushi all over Gods green earth and this is near the top. I almost passed right on by but the Yelp reviews made me stop and I am glad I did. Everybody that worked here, very friendly and the food was superb. I ate at the bar as I was by myself and the bartender made some great reccomendations. I had the Tokyo roll and the Alpha roll. I liked the Tokyo roll the best but had I not had it first I would have loved the Alpha roll, both were great! If I am ever back in the area I will be back for sure. It is a hidden gem. read more

Had reservations for 6pm. Showed up and all the seats were full for the hibachi. While waiting for 3 more to join our party the hostess told us it would be 15 min until 9 seats were ready for our party. We said ok and patiently waited since 3 of our people were 5 minutes out. In the meantime the manager approached us and proceeded to tell us that if our party doesn't show up in 10 minutes our reservations will be cancelled. My wife, appalled by this statement, asked the manager if he was willing to lose $200 worth of business? He replied by saying, "that's not what I said", and my wife said well that's what's going to happen. My wife even mentioned how the hostess said it would be 15 min before a table is even open but we only have 10 min before it's cancelled? This man was very rude and inconsiderate. Just because they made a mistake and placed people in our seats before we arrived gives nobody the right to treat customers the way this restaurant treated us. We stayed and ate there but I'm going to have a hard time going back after this incident. read more

We sat at the bar and ordered because we weren't planning to eat hibachi. I ordered a seaweed salad (not on the menu) and the portion was a great appetizer size- enough to share. We also had the gyoza (which was on special for 1/2 off) and it came out quickly & very hot. Good flavor and I was happy the meat inside was beef! Ordered the Angel Roll which was delicious... If I could change for next time is add jalapeño to the inside for more spice. (I do like things spicy though) Also ordered the Dynamite Roll which had a good heat level and nice flavor, as I'm not used to scallops inside sushi as much. Service was excellent. This place to me is way over rated and priced and they love to nickel and dime their customers. For instance, we normally get yum yum sauce with our hibachi dinners. They didn't offer it to us here, no big deal. We asked for some, he looked stumped, didn't say much and brought some out a few minutes later. It wasn't till we got the bill we saw that we had been charged $2 for it. We have eaten at hibachi restaurants all over the U.S. and never had that happen. I don't think the food here is worth the prices that they charge. I have found the waitstaff to be indifferent toward the customers. The food is not bad by any means, but nothing special in my opinion. They do have some talented cooks at the grill as far as the Japanese grill tricks go. Always have to travel to OKC every couple of months, and whenever possible me and my daughter come here to eat on our way home to NM. Never ever had a bad experience and sushi always yummy with lots of choices! We've only ordered off the sushi menu and don't know how hibachi is. Can't wait to go back! read more

I absolutely love this place!! Best sushi I have ever tried. Better than nhinja and the prices are the best you're gonna get! Hibachi and two rolls of sushi comes around to $30! We come here for Valentine's Day anniversaries birthdays and the staff has always been so friendly! I recommend the tokyo roll and spider roll and really anything! Decent sushi for being in Yukon. They are a little pricey and seem a little slow on the service. They are definitely better than some other sushi joints in the area. I prefer to carry out to go, rather than to dine in. It's not a big place and they usually are fairly busy. Definitely worth checking out and we will go back. read more

Good delicious sushi and drinks at reasonable prices without having to drive all the way into OKC. The sushi was good quality and super fresh!! Our drinks took a little long and they couldn't make one because they were out of something...but we will go back and try it again!!! Make sure and ask for a side of the spicy dragon sauce!!! If you know what real sushi is, this isn't going to meat your standards. I've lived in Japan for 9 years, so I'm pretty picky about my sushi, but this wasn't good at all and I won't be back. If you like California roll or you're impressed by the Bennie Hanna clanking of hibachi utensils, then maybe. I can't review the restaurant or staff, as I always order my sushi to go and bring it home to eat. That said, they have the best sushi anywhere near Yukon. I have tried about 5 of them now, and they've all been excellent. I stay away from any with uncooked food on them due to preference. This is the only place I'll eat sushi from now.
