Let's face it...it's your ass out there and I learned firsthand that trusting Harley dealership mechanics is akin to playing Russian Roulette. When you pick your bike up after servicing and travel a few miles before returning to the dealership cuz something's wrong...then you understand what I'm saying. My ole '07 Road King Classic needed transmission work...the kind that takes time, money & patience. Getting parts can be a "dog in heat" but ya know what? Pat will make your ride safe and ready to roll without any excuses. Be patient, these folks are in great demand and you may have to wait a bit longer than you'd like but your baby will be dialed in upon completion. You want the best? Go to South County Cycles and forget the rest. Peace of mind is a valuable thing and knowing your bike is in perfect riding condition makes each mile better. Take it from a veteran biker who has seen and heard it all... South County Cycles is always busy because customers never leave. I found OC Moto Haus completely by chance. No recommendation, no advertising. I was just sick and…read moretired of dealing with the way some motorcycle shops in OC operate... and if you know, you know. What was initially supposed to be a basic tire change, oil change, and fluid service turned into me meeting pretty much the whole Moto Haus crew over the next few days. They immediately pointed out the condition of my brake pads and went through the bike properly, doing everything they could to get my old girl running strong again. Then, two days later, my already-sluggish starter motor finally decided to give up. I called Sam and explained that I rely on the bike for commuting. They did not hesitate for a second. Sam simply said, "I got you." They ordered the exact OEM part my bike needed, and two days later I was back on the road. This is not some fancy, white-glove shop trying to impress you with a polished showroom or sell you a pile of parts. It is a real working motorcycle shop. Greasy hands, bikes everywhere, and people who are there to actually fix your motorcycle. I have seen everything there, from old beat-up machines and vintage oddballs to brand-new Ducatis waiting for service... so draw your own conclusions. I came in by accident. I will be coming back on purpose.

But when I test the bike in the parking lot, I find out that the brake is not working. I left the bike for an extra day. Next day, when I picked up the bikes, we tested in the parking lot and it was much better still Not 100% but better.

He sent photos and followed up with a call to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it done--that level of attention is rare. From start to finish, the service was excellent. James and Danielle genuinely care about their customers, and it shows.
