    Spanish omelette (bland)
    Michael M.

This place was ok. Not bad. Me and my wife came here and I got the chilequiles and the Mexican omelette. The omelette was bland and the chilequiles was flavorful and spicy. But a good spice! Fast service. Fair customer service for the most part. (They we're speaking Spanish, gossiping about a regular customer there, that was there at the time) The customer was a white old lady. And she left a good tip from what I seen.

Getting ready to enjoy some shrimp tacos with beans and rice and some good salsa!

We enjoy the place because they have good food. It's nice and small and the service is good as well as the food.

    Beef fajitas

Did not disappoint. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great staff and fantastic food. The Beef fajitas and Marco chipotle burrito were amazing! Thank you for the meal and service!

Covid-19 Phase: I called and ordered the chicken burrito bowl with veggies added. The worker was nice and said it would ready in 14 minutes. I waited and went in to get it masked. The worker was masked as well! They have outdoor seating. The order was ready when I got there and the worker was very nice! They have a lot of other good foods to try too! The chicken burrito bowl was amazingly delicious! Wow! Chicken cooked perfectly! Fresh veggies! I was given fresh salsa to go with it and that added a very nice spicy kick! It had corn in it and that was a nice change. The boiled beans were fantastic too! Great service and delicious food! Highly recommended! They deserve every star!

    Chile verde

This is so sad. I got two pieces of meat, two slices of half of a potato and a small ass side of beans. I asked for over easy eggs and they are fully cooked.all this for $12.45 total fckin rip off. Do not eat this Chile verde plate!!!

Chorizo con huevos, flour tortillas and bacon - delicious!
    Nikki I.

Great food, great prices and friendly service. I had the chorizo con huevos for breakfast and the serving size was HUGE! It came with potatoes smothered in yummy sauce, beans, and warm flour or corn tortillas. The chips and salsa are bomb. I think the chips are homemade, because they are super warm and thin. As for seating, it's a smaller scale restaurant. This place has a diner style seating section which allows you go to grab something quick by yourself. But they also have a group seating section for when you're dining out with friends.

    That was hella good

This is not the first time I've had underwhelming service at this restaurant. The staff always leaves much to be desired in the customer service area, but usually the food is amazing. Today I went in and ordered machaca. I didn't look at the menu, I just ordered it, with very specific instructions. I never said the word burrito, I asked for eggs, meat, peppers and cheese only. No potatoes, no beans. Sounds like a plate right? Well they bring out a burrito. I tell her I wanted a plate. She says "sorry I didn't hear her take the order...the plate is 8.79." Hands it to me and walks away. Ok.....so let me pay the $1.79 difference...ask me if I'd like you to change it...give me some damn customer service. Don't put it on me because the cashier didn't understand my order. And I wasn't even going to write a review until I opened the burrito. $7 and it's mostly tortilla. I just feel like this place can do better. Being a staple in Fresno, having a long history of business, that should make you better, not worse. I don't think a little effort is too much to ask for as a customer.

    Chilaquiles
    Angel M.

We from los Angeles and stopped by this place.. I ordered me some chilaquiles..the food was great..I would come back...the only thing is I wished I would have gotten a bigger portion on the chilaquiles..but food was great

The best Albondiga soup in Fresno! Comes with Mexican rice and your choice of flour or corn tortillas.

The best food around! We always fill up on the yummy chips first. Then it's onto the Tostada Veracruz and combo menu.

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. We'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend this place enough.

My sister introduced me to this place, and I'm actually waiting on her to come back to visit so that we can take another trip back together (it's been a minute)! It's got diner vibes to me. Booths, seats at the front counter facing the kitchen, and a few more tables in the center. It's not the most aesthetic restaurant but... it's on the corner of Blackstone & Dakota-- lol I didn't expect it to be. Friendly staff. Great chefs. Service is always good/quick. We've never waited long to have our orders taken or to receive our food. Now... those enchiladas! They're the closest thing to the type of enchiladas my best friend's mama makes (she's from Michoacan)-- she makes the best, most authentic Mexican food! SO, when I can't get them from her... I know where to go. They are cheese enchiladas-- served with lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and sour cream.. sprinkled with cotija cheese. They also come with some bomb potatoes and your choice of chicken or steak-- we always go steak. Sooo good and the flavors are always on point! + They give complimentary chips and salsa-- very good. We use that same salsa for the enchis. Pair it with a crisp coke, chef's kiss! If it wasn't obvious, it's a yes from me. This little hole-in-the-wall family-run business needs more recognition!
