My go-to order has always been the three-item combo: an enchilada, a taco, and a tamale, all smothered in chili Colorado sauce. I recently came back to Fresno and had a full moment of panic when I thought Toledo's had gone out of business. Both of my usual spots--the one on Herndon and the one off Shaw--were gone. Food is amazing. Everything was very flavorful, even the iced tea was great. Brewed and not instant. We loved our server Roman. He's the best. Toledo's is a total gem. The enchiladas combo with beans & rice are incredibly authentic and flavorful! Easily the highlight of the meal is the enchiladas sauce it's so different and flavorful. I usually pair them with one of their fabulous margaritas, but since I'm inhome bound for the next 3 months due to a knee replacement surgery just 2 days ago I had to order delivery. First time ordering for delivery service and the experience was awesome!! My order came within 20 minutes. The service is always friendly and the atmosphere is great for a night out. Also ordered the Chicken Concha Tostada with boiled beans & extra hot sauce. The worker was kind. Said she would place the order. Great iced tea to start. Great seasoned tortilla chips delivered too with fresh, tasty salsa too. Lunch brought a little bit later and the worker asked if I needed anything else? I said no and she said "enjoy! " Chicken Concha Tostada with boiled beans was Really Great! Fresh & tasty! Everything in it! Hot sauce was really hot. Only problem to start is I waited way too long to get a workers attention to get some more tea. My mouth was on fire! Lol! I was completely ignored too. Bummer! =/ Finally got a workers attention and was offered tea. It was brought shortly after. Took my time and enjoyed every bite! Good amount. Leftovers too! Told the worker I had birthday rewards and wanted to check out. Took quite a bit longer. Checked out and asked for a to go box with birthday wishes and then waited quite a bit longer to ask for a cup to take my tea to-go. Finally able to track a worker down and she seriously told me it's a dollar charge for a cup. What? Are you kidding me? I've never been charged for a cup. She offered the manager, I said yes and she told me they just started charging a dollar for the cup and she could give me a cup this time , but next time I need to pay the charge. Really disappointed with the service. Never been treated that way with the different looks and how I was talked to, but at least lunch was good! I honestly, don't ever want to go back now. Not right. Especially knowing I'm supposed to be there to celebrate my birthday. The food was good, but not worth how I was treated and how they made me feel! I have never been so disappointed or hurt by the way I was treated or how they made me feel. The lunch was good, but definitely not worth what I went through, At all!! Experience is the main point. Very attentive waitress. Good specials and nice settings. We had the burrito special. First you choose soup or salad then a burrito (5 choices I believe) then choose your topping (5 also). You also get a drink, all for $14.95. Great deal. The soup was well balanced and had a little kick to it. The salsa also had a good kick and the tortilla chips were fresh and had a spice dusting. Both burritos had plenty of pork chunks in them. We could only eat half as the soup was so good. We took the other half home in a doggie container but poor Cooper didn't get to taste them as we ate them for lunch the next day. Toledo's had a happy hour but we did not get anything from the bar. Will go again soon. Would like to try a different burrito if the special is available otherwise I may try the tacos. read more

Good morning, Carmen! On May 5, 2026, we made reservations for a party of 3 at 6 pm at the Toledo's on Milburn Av. When we arrived around 5:45 pm, a party of 6 ladies was sitting at the booth we had reserved in advance. In fact, I had called twice to confirm our reservations including our regular booth, #11. When we arrived, we asked why our table had been given to another party. The manager at the front podium, Juan, told us that the group had been sitting at that booth for 2 hours. However, I observed that the ladies had ordered no drinks other than water at the time of our arrival. In addition, the group had just opened up their menus which was evident that they hadn't been there much earlier than our group. After about 15 minutes, we asked our server, Alejandra, who had Table 11, how long the group of 6 ladies had been sitting. She told us they were there about 20 minutes prior to our arrival. That is a definite conflict of information that the manager had given us. We were very disappointed that the manager, Juan, was not forthcoming to us and covered up the truth. We are regulars at this Toledo's along with other relatives. We realize that it was Cinco de Mayo, however, the server could not keep up with the guests and we lacked good service. Our appetizers (enchiladas) were not warm and the food took forever to come out. We had to wait nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive. We hope that you could review these shortcomings with your Milburn staff as you will lose good customers if this happens again. read more

Came today to enjoy a dinner by myself, sat in the self seating bar area. Waited 15 mins with no acknowledgement that I was there. Bartender was busy so I can understand that. The waitress came by and helped the guests seated next to me, she came back cleared the table in front of me, made eye contact and left. This isn't the first time this has happened so this is why I'm writing the review today. Very disappointed and grossed out. Ordered a shrimp burrito online for pick up. Was surprised at first because the restaurant was very busy but got my order done fairly quickly. My husband brought the food home for me and I was very excited because I've been nauseous and hungry. I take a bite and was so confused because it was burning hot and there were chunks of very spicy dried chilis. I never asked for any spice on my order but they made it burning hot. Also the shrimp was grayish and looked suspicious. Tried it and it felt so gross. I tried to eat but no I couldn't help but throw up. Since I'm pregnant I was even more worried about the shrimp being undercooked. It was a horrible experience and I felt so sick even afterwards. I've loved Toledos since I was a little girl. It's been my Fresno favorite truly since I was six years old... but it's not what it once was.. Their salsa is delicious, although sometimes too spicy. (And I looove spicy!) Their margaritas are yummm, however a house margarita when not on happy hour is $9! Add .75 for a flavor. Their chips are amazing with a special seasoning, although a few times when getting to go they have been stale. :( read more

Had steak and shrimp fajitas for dinner. Shrimp was ok but thought that 3 shrimp was not adequate. Steak was over cooked and dried out. Ordered drink and could not taste any alcohol. I've been coming here for years. The enchiburrito is amazing. The fajitas are incredible. The Chile verde is delicious! The service is incredible. Everyone is always friendly. Today I returned from a long camping trip and my first real meal was at Toledos and I had menudo there for the first time, immaculate! The tripe was so soft and tender, almost buttery.
