I had pulled my laptop out to start working and was looking around to see if they had the WiFi password posted. She had noticed me looking around and came over and asked if I wanted the password, I really appreciated that. I ordered the fish and chips not knowing what to expect and unfortunately it wasn't good. The fries were on par for fries, but the fish just tasted off and I couldn't eat it. It was lukewarm warm inside at best. I may have gotten through 1 of the three pieces. The tarter was pretty standard, and the ranch had great flavor but was so watery. I always hate giving bad reviews, but I will always be honest in my reviews. I always give a place two chances, so I will be back to try the breakfast. 5 stars for service, 2 for my lunch today. It's pretty small inside and definitely has an antique shop feel. There's lots of different styles and things around. There are a few small tables scattered throughout. The lady at the front was very kind and happy to walk us through their options. They have one small case that's mostly savory and one small case that's sweets with a tiny truffle case on the counter. I think the move here is the cinnamon roll, but when we arrived they were still baking, which meant it smelled delightful, but were weren't able to try one. We ended up trying the breakfast muffin, which was really unique. It's a muffin with cheese and spinach baked in, along with an entire strip of bacon just under the surface, and an entire egg baked in the middle. It was good, but I'm not sure I would order it again. I'm not usually a scone fan, I prefer a muffin, but their scones looked good. We tried the blueberry lemon and the cranberry orange. They were both really flavorful with a good texture, not super dry. The blueberry edged out the cranberry for me because the blueberries were fresh, whereas the cranberry were dried. This is a cute small shop, clearly making everything from scratch with passion. I'd stop back in for a cinnamon roll for sure!
