Rings or whole baby squid would've shown more technical confidence, but fine the flavor still delivers, and at the end of the day, that's what people actually remember. The Calabria chili shrimp follows with the same sense of control: spicy, but not trying to prove a point. Paired with grilled baguette, it does exactly what it's supposed to do support the dish instead of getting in the way. And then there's the Chicken Fried Ribeye, which sounds like a bad decision until you eat it.
