foggy water - obviously tap water and not filtered.

I don't like slamming places when the owners (or people running the place) are nice but I can't give out good ratings just because they're nice either. Some places just need to go out of business. If you're going to name your business after a dish, then it should darn well be the best dish there. This might be the worst Tom Yum Goong I've ever had. Soup was sweet and yet bitter? Should be a bit sour not bitter. Mushrooms look like they are at least a week old. Soup tasted like it was from some kind of a boxed concoction or powder. Shrimp in it were plentiful so but also like they were thrown in from a frozen bag and chewy. The shrimp in the fried rice were clearly of a better quality but overall the rice was a dismal affair. The yellow curry with pork was probably the best dish but even that was off. Tasted a bit more like chinese or japanese style curry than Thai. Is the lady running it Chinese? She didn't look Thai. We were probably first in person customers of the day on a Saturday (not a monday) 11:30 so no excuse for lame leftover food. If you're going to serve water at least provide filtered if your tap is terrible. This is not too much to ask. The ecclectic mix of antiques is cool if a bit out of place and weird but no points off for that. Just overall bad food. This area is not devoid of Thai food. There are plenty of choices to be had.

This is authentic Thai and you can taste the love in all of their dishes. Curry Shrimp was THE best I've ever tasted!! Hands down, this is the most unassuming yet best tasting Thai food in Vacaville in our family's opinion. Quality ingredients and such good people running the restaurant- family affair makes it so special. Don't miss out- this is the place for Thai.

I've been to this restaurant a couple times, but it's been years since I've been back. It's a nice restaurant with friendly staff. I was craving boat noodles and this is one of the very few places in the Fairfield/Vacaville area that offer it. Boat Noodles - I actually took this to go and had it in the comfort of my home. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and quality of this noodle soup. I've had boat noodles a few times in the past and I would say this is definitely one of the better spots. The meat was so tender and literally melts in your mouth. The noodle to meat ratio was perfect. There was plenty of meat, probably more than I would've preferred but that's normal for me. I would take more noodles over meat any day, LOL. With that being said, they still provided a good amount of noodles so i was very satisfied! The reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because the broth itself was a bit sweeter than I preferred. Other than that, it was perfect. I'll definitely be back for more! Pad Thai- I ordered the chicken pad thai, spicy level hot and it was delicious but it wasn't spicy. I was a bit disappointed about that, but overall the flavor was great. I actually felt like the meat was sparse in this dish, but once again that's not really a problem for me but I could see how it could be for others.

Late evening, I ordered mango sticky rice. The portion size was small, but it was very delicious.

(4.88/5) - True Rating Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors! Food: 10/10 We've really enjoyed the pumpkin curry (Thai spice), tom yum soup, pad thai with chicken, nam tok, and pad kee mao with tofu, and each dish has left us craving for more. The flavors are bold and authentic, with just the right amount of spice. The pumpkin curry stole the show with its perfectly balanced flavors and tender kabocha squash. It comes with a complimentary side of rice. The tom yum soup was light yet tangy, while the pad thai showcased well-sauced noodles and succulent chicken. Though the portion sizes are slightly smaller than usual, the quality of ingredients shines through in every bite. Service: 5/5 The warm and welcoming atmosphere is complemented by attentive service from the friendly staff, who are more than happy to guide you through the menu. Atmosphere/Cleanliness: 4.5/5 While the restaurant may feel cozy due to its small size and the presence of antiquities, finding seating has never been an issue during our visits. It's worth noting that it seems like most patrons opt for take-out, but the dine-in experience is equally inviting. The cleanliness of the restaurant adds to its charm, creating a homey atmosphere that enhances the dining experience.

Maybe I'm mistaken but these are not Pad Thai noodles?? I'm looking at other pictures posted from this restaurant and these are definitely much thinner. And yes I've had Pad Thai many times. This is not the same. Also, it costs me about $15.

Crispy chicken fried rice - 10/10, chicken was juicy and super crispy, paired with two different sauces (1) some sort of creamy mayo aioli (2) sweet chili sauce; i personally preferred the sweet chili sauce. The rice itself was subtle, with a slight soy sauce flavor; definitely allowed the chicken to shine. Thai iced tea - 8/10, good thai tea. not too sweet, stronger on the tea side. When: Saturday dinner at 5pm (came when they were opening door) What: Chicken satay, pork satay, beef satay, seafood laksa, hainanese chicken rice, fried spring roll Experience: Superb food!! It is a lot of food, but we wiped out all of it among two adults and two young kids. The satays were SO GOOD! Hands down the best I've had in the USA, and on par with the best satay places I've had in Southeast Asia! Our favorites including both kids were beef and pork. So tender, so flavorful and delicious even without using the peanut sauce. We even got another two orders of each to take home! Seafood laksa was such a big portion with good amount of seafood. If you've had Singaporean or Malaysian laksa, this is different. Different in a good way since the owner chef is from Indonesia. The Hainanese chicken rice was tasty. Turmeric rice was different since I'm used to the ginger chicken rice, but the poached chicken was very well made. Under the chicken skin was a layer of gelatin which happens when the chicken is poached and then cool in a meticulous method. Together with the ginger scallion oil sauce, it was umami! Fried spring rolls were crispy and good flavor of meat and vegetables inside. Together with their house lime chili sauce, it was a party in the mouth! (I also paid using the online services, but I did see someone paying in person.) I was drawn to Bazar Eatery when I saw they had Laksa; I ordered the Seafood Laksa. Ever since I had it in Singapore, I've been hoping to find somewhere that serves this soup. It was nice to find somewhere that serves it, but it doesn't compare to the flavor of the laksa I had in Singapore. (Maybe it's a different variant of the dish, but I preferred the more coconut heavy broth flavor that I had over there.) I still enjoyed this dish overall though. I also tried the Hainanese Chicken. It really wasn't anything amazing, but this could be due to the dish being served with regular, white rice; they had run out of turmeric rice for the day. I also had the kumquat sparkling drink. The menu notes it's sour, but I didn't think it was overly so. It was still more sweet than sour in my opinion. I enjoyed the drink, and it tasted like they used real fruit rather than artificial syrups. I think the portions are a bit small, particularly in the case of the Hainanese Chicken, but it's nice that they served complimentary shrimp chips. Service came off as genuinely welcoming/friendly, even if we weren't checked on after the food came out.
