Hubby and I ate here today for the first time. For a Saturday at 11am it was hopping which is always a good sign. We kept it light and shared the French pressed coffee for two which was so delicious. We are very particular with our coffee and we hands down thought it was 5 out of 5 stars. I had the tomato bisque soup and Hubby had the chicken wild rice soup. Both were hearty and was a nice generous portion. I absolutely loved the tomato bisque and the herbed scones that came with. We then shared a pumpkin tiramisu cupcake that was very good. The icing wasn't too sweet and the cake was nice and moist. Can't wait to go back, their menu and the other diner's plates we saw all looked so fresh and good. Prices to me seemed fair and not pricey. read more

Great service and even better food. My mom had the Tomato Pie, which is not like the Philly tomato pie - this one was similar to a quiche with hearty stewed tomatoes and cheese. I had the pesto chicken panini and it was delicious. We were lucky enough to grab one of the outside tables, but the patio was closed for a priate function. We had a great lunch today. The service was perfect, the just-changed menu delicious, and the desserts were all so tempting I was little stressed out when choosing. The coffee comes from Square One in Lancaster, so they obviously have good taste and the good sense to source it locally. I do believe I'll be looking for excuses to go to Lititz, although going to Tomato Pie is a fine excuse all by itself. read more

Had lunch here based on the previous Yelp reviews and it was awesome! I had the Ham & Brie Pannini which was delicious. The "Adult Grilled Cheese" was scrumptious! It was a perfect combo of cheese, bacon and habanero peppers. The kids baked Mac n cheese comes in muffin tin shapes and my kids didn't think it was as awesome as I did, but they are huge fans of the box Mac n cheese from the grocery store so, on this case, their opinion doesn't count. If I ever find myself back in Litiz again, I will be sure to stop at the Tomato Pie Cafe. read more

I want to LOVE the Tomato Pie Cafe. I really do. I moved here about 6 months ago and when I first went there, I thought the decor was incredibly charming. I love the nostalgic tip of the hat to a time gone by. I so badly wanted it to be my "go to" brunch place. But it definitely is not. I have been there about 5 times (because I keep trying!). To sum up those times, I would say, from the food to the various coffee drinks, the menu at times has promise when read, but usually the actual quality and taste does not deliver. The service can be iffy, ranging from nothing special to borderline rude. I would give it a two star rating, but I'm nudging it to a three because the tomato soup is quite good, and my dream to love this visual charmer lives on. read more

This is a very health conscious place. My sandwich was good but the others in my party all wished they had ordered something else. The Tomato Pie is not always consistent. My favorite cafe in Lititz. You need to try the tomato pie. It is not the pizza type pie that some of you might be accustomed to. It is an actual pie crust filled with fresh tomatoes and cheese. Delish! They also have a refreshing herbal lemonade and fresh brewed iced tea. They now have a kids menu. My daughter loved her grilled cheese in rainbow bread. I really like this place, food and service are always good. My favorite sandwich is the smoked salmon and artichoke panini. When ordering the French toast be sure to ask for the "real maple syrup". The coffee and iced tea are also very good. All in all a much better experience than the corporate coffee places nearby. read more

I'm a little sad because the weather is getting colder because I love sitting outside at Tomato Pie in their great outdoor seating. This place is within walking distance and we go there often and bring our dog. They give our dog fresh water and we usually order a couple of great cappuccinos or lattes... Which they won an award from Fine Living Lancaster Magazine. So I love the food, love the service and would recommend to anyone. read more

My wife and I love the little town of Lititz, and we loved our experience at the Tomato Pie Cafe. They have some unique offerings, so make sure you branch out. We ate dinner there one night and then stopped in the morning for coffee. The coffee is pretty good, but not necessarily the best I have had. The dinner was amazing. My wife and I shared the tomato bisque soup and the stuffed acorn squash. The soup was good, but the acorn squash was maybe best non-meat dish (I am an avid carnivore) I have ever eaten. Tomato Pie Cafe has a nice atmosphere in the heart of a beautiful and quaint downtown area. read more

Not much selection in Lancaster county especially outside the city... This is a nice find with great food and comfortable atmosphere. There isn't a ton to choose from but I almost always end up getting their tomato bisque and a artisan style grilled cheese. Not even a huge grilled cheese fan but the two are just awesome! I'm not sure it's on the menu but it should be! Also their bakery items are awesome too! read more

Usually pretty good food, friendly staff... Can be a little slow service during busy times, and is a little bit "cozy". Prices are on the high side. Menu selection isn't terribly wide, but I've never found myself left wanting. Conveniently located right across the street from Lititz Springs Park. read more

i've been here for breakfast and lunch and have never had a bad meal. everything tastes fresh and well seasoned. there's rosemary on the potatoes, interesting salad dressings and herbs in the lemonade. and the basil. the basil, the basil, the basil in that tomato pie. i suggest trying everything else on the menu before you eat their signature dish; once you've had the tomato pie, you'll never stray. parking is what parking is in lititz: metered street spaces and the occasional rare find. i don't think most of the shops in the area have a private lot. your amazing meal is going to be less than $10 so just throw some change in your pocket before you head out and everything will be easy breezy. if you're from out of town, the wilbur chocolate factory is just across the street, as is the park. most of the cute shops are a block or two away. have a lovely breakfast, take a stroll or tour and come back for lunch. read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! This place lived up to it's charming ambiance. Food and service, top notch. Highly recommend the half sandwich and salad combo. I had the turkey with pesto panini and the house salad with the raspberry vinaigrette (out of this world!). Ordered a frosted lemonade for desert (made with their herb lemonade and ice cream). Cutest little place! Service was a bit slow and inattentive, but the food MORE than made up for that. I don't even really like tomatoes, but the tomato pie is DELISH! Took some friends here and got 2 slices that we shared as an appetizer. I had a pear/bacon/blue cheese flatbread with a wonderful balsamic drizzle. Others had the tomato soup and curry chicken salad (the chicken is so chunky that it's hard to eat and also could use more "dressing" as it was kind of dry). The turkey pesto panini was amazing. This place seriously needs to update its entree menu, or at least to stock all of the things that are on the current menu. We love the atmosphere and prices. The coffee and tomato items are great, but everything else seems to have lost its zest recently. It's great for lunch and if you can sit outside, but by dinnertime, they've run out of things on repeated visits, and the hot entree options are really limited and often "done for the day." Service is good. It would be nice if they at least fully stocked all the crowd favorites that they continually run out of, AND offered a daily special to mix things up. New salads and more creative entrees would really make this place shine again. read more

The blueberry quinoa oatmeal is out of this world and their coffee selection and taste is the best Lititz has to offer and that includes some pretty steep competition. The service is trendy with a hip kind 50's/60's nostalgia feel nestled in a shaded cozy corner in the heart of Lititz, Pa. Service = outstanding Food = exceptional From start to finish, our meal at Tomato Pie Cafe was exceptional. My husband and I are celebrating our fifteenth wedding anniversary to weekend. We've eaten at several places during our trip, and we both feel the same way: we wish we'd eaten EVERY meal here instead. Our server, Brett, was attentive, friendly, and conversational, never rushing us but also never hovering. For drinks, my husband got the white lavender mocha and I got the fogged tea, made with Earl Grey tea. Breakfast is served until 2, and we both opted for that: Western wrap for him with a side of parmesan grit cake and tomato pie with spinach and artichoke hearts for me with a side of rosemary potatoes. We were really hungry, and we opted to split a side of chicken and feta sausage. At the last moment, I also got the butternut squash soup. Let me say right off that we had to take some food home, because we were so full. Let me also say I almost cried because everything was SO incredible that we wanted to eat it all. That was, probably, the best tomato pie I'd ever eaten. The tomatoes were a beautiful blend of sweet and tart and blended perfectly with the thick cheese layer. The pie crust was flaky and delicious all on its own. The sausage was savoury and tangy when a delicious crunchy layer from the grill. The soup was thick, rich, and delightful. So many butternut soups are sweet and cinnamon heavy. This was perfectly balanced, with the flavor of the shallots present without overwhelming the soup. There was the sweetness that you'd expect, but it came at the back end. Delightful. The Western wrap was moist and tender, without drowning the tortilla with the vegetable juices or sauce. I can't stand eggs, but the flavors we're so good that I absolutely could have eaten that and been happy. Refried beans, avocado, onions, and tomato combined beautifully, each contributing to the flavor but none becoming the star of the sandwich. We both enjoyed it so much that we cancelled our dinner plans and ordered food to go. And we've already decided to travel here again from out home in Baltimore read more

We've had a couple of family get-togethers at the Tomato Pie Cafe this year. The menu is eclectic, the food delicious. The servers have been professional yet personable, and one went out of her way to get my aunt's wallet back to her when she left it at the cafe by accident.
