Passing thru on my way to Circleville and was hungry for lunch. Ordered large mushroom pizza to go. Crust was tender and perfect, slightly charred on edges as it should be. What a joke this was. We were sitting outside waiting for our pizza and we saw a table open up inside. We went in there and sat at it. It hadn't been wiped down yet so we wiped it down at sat down because they were busy and thought we could wipe the table our selves. The busser came over and told us to stop. We were confused and he said not to do his job and that we're embarrassing him. But he was saying it extremely rude. We said sorry and apologized we were just trying to help out since they were a little busy. After that he came back and asked if we came in from outside. We said yes it was super hot out there. He said we needed to let our server know we moved in. We didn't have a server and we apologized for that and he was just being rude about it still. We are sitting there confused on why he was being so rude to us for moving tables. When they brought us our pizza 3 people came over and asked what our problem was with the employee. We just said all we were trying to do was sit inside out of the heat and help wipe down the table a little. They said okay well he was just doing his job and asked if we would like parmesan. No apology for how the employee treated us. Then one of the 3 people said to my wife. "I saw you writing a bad review on your phone what is that about." First of all that's a huge invasion of privacy and has no right to do that and confront a customer on their experience. My wife simply responded by yes we work in the food industry and we would never had treated and customer like that just for moving tables. If we were supposed to inform someone we moved in we completely understand that and apologized for it. But it blew up into a huge ordeal. Then after we said this they kicked us out of the restaurant. This was a joke of an experience. Management should of handled it better and at least of apologized for their employees attitude. But simply asked if we wanted parmesan cheese. The pizza here rivals any great place in the country. The crust... oh, my... the crust is to die for. Sauce is great, too. They slice their own prosciutto, which is a new one for the restaurant and it is super yummy. A little thicker than what you would expect but it gives you just the right amount of salty goodness. The others with me said they LOVE the French dip. If you're meandering your way through central Utah in the summer, make sure to time your trip to get to enjoy this little gem. You'll be glad you did. Every once in a while, you're blessed with a road side stop that takes you to a place you'll want to return to again and again. The customer service here is awful. I stopped in... it was busy. I was standing behind a woman waiting to be seated. I wanted to place a take-out order, so I walked over to the counter to ask, "can I place a take out order here?" The response? "Well we're busy right now and there's a line." Wow, nice attitude. It looks a little dumpy from the outside, but it was a fun place to eat. A friend recommended it and we decided to go when we were driving through. The pizza was good. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean. We sat at a table where we could see the kitchen, it was fun to see the cook tossing the pizza dough in the air. Service was a little slow, but they were pretty busy so that might be why. I would definitely go again. read more

How do you not have pizza dough at the peak of dinner time (6:15pm) and have an attitude of "oh well". 16 different people left-lots of lost revenue. We ordered a large combo, an antipasto salad and an order of house-made meatballs with marinara. The food was delivered punctually and with punctilio and aplomb. I was curious about the meatballs as I am somewhat picky about these. The staff assured me they were made according to a family recipe and would not disappoint. In any case, the pizza was delicious. Perfect crust with abundant toppings. The salad was fresh and full of cured meats, savory kalamata olives, rich cheeses, diced tomatoes and garlicky croutons. My family and I were treated extremely poor by the staff at this establishment because we moved tables without asking. We were chewed out because we moved inside from being outside in the heat. We tried to help clean the table off where we were trying to sit and an employee was unnecessarily rude to us for cleaning off the table and moving without asking. He scolded us saying "don't touch my table, you're embarrassing me, that's not your job, do you want to go back outside." We all understood about people moving tables because we all have worked in the food industry and know how it is working at a restaurant. The staff/owner never apologized, for his staffs rude behavior...all because we moved tables. One employee was looking over my daughter's shoulder at her phone while leaving a bad review and confronted her about it, huge invasion of privacy. My daughter told him that she is other food service industry and would never treat a customer the way we were treated and that is when we were asked to leave. They could care less that employees treat their customers like crap! Won't be coming back! read more
