We love coming I here and smelling the scents. We've been meaning to buy a new reed diffuser for a while. And we love the new sea salt and coastal scent. It's a little pricey at $60 for the scent, but we finally bit the bullet. The Black Friday special was 25% off fo purchases over $250. So we threw in a few shirts for my husband as Christmas presents. For the quality of the shirts, it was worth the price especially with the discount. I looked on this account and I saw it had a 4.2 and I have to very well disagree. When I went there during the day, I saw a beautiful background view of the ocean not to mention the Nice shopping mall area it's in. when I had problems with one of my shirts, I went and I met the employee Brandon. A nice young gentleman with a wonderful attitude and young energy. me and my acquaintance were making lots of jokes that he was laughing at. when we went to go and make their return he was very helpful at checking out new sizes and being cooperative with our request. The store is kept up a nice not to mention the luxurious clothing and products with luscious smells in the air, which takes me back to my beautiful grandpa's funeral 80 years ago. I love Tommy Bahama and this store in specific. However, I've had a bad experience with a manager around the holidays twice now. Same one in both experiences, I'll save the details but it both instances she's displayed poor customer service and unprofessional behavior. He lives for the brand is so incredibly knowledgeable. Recently, they participated in a charity Fashion Show and their clothes looked incredible! The quality and comfort is unmatched. So went into your Pacific City store today with my husband to pickup a few items. Left with nothing ! Why? Because the two salespeople, woman and Gentleman, in the store could not have been bothered to greet us. Let me add that we were the ONLY people in the store and they knew we were there but not once did we get greeted so we walked ended up walking out, why would I give them sales when I they ignored us. We walked into Tommy Bahama in Pacific City. I had gone to the store to just take a quick look. My husband told me to hurry up because we were late so we rushed by the cashier to use the back exit to get to the beach. The back exit was labeled "exit." However, it was not just a regular exit. It was an emergency exit without the label. Unfortunately, we did not know that until we pressed the door open. The alarm went off and the cashier at the front (Today at 3:30) could not have been more rude. I do not know her name; I can just identify her as having brown hair, medium length. We were shocked at her hostility. I apologized multiple times and explained that we didn't realize it was an emergency exit because there was no sign that indicated that. She just glared at us and refused to acknowledge our apologies. Even the customers in line noticed her rudeness, and tried to calm her down. Her behavior was downright ridiculous. Come on Tommy Bahama! I know you can do better than this! This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I always try to have empathy and understanding for employees because I know they work hard. But honestly, this woman deserved a pink slip. Laid back atmosphere, with good, quick service. I love how they have a decent happy hour menu. Would like to come back for that. My four-year-old grandson had a little bit of a tough day at preschool today. So I thought I would pick him up and take him to Pacific City for ice cream. My husband loves Tommy Bahama shirts and we walked by the Tommy Bahama store and I said to him Grandpa loves Tommy Bahama should we go get him a present? He said yes grandma! And ran in the store. We were so lucky that a lovely lady named Jacqueline was working. Most people are so dismissive of children, she not only welcomed him to the store but myself as well and asked what she could help us find. He told her he wanted to get a present for his grandpa. She picked out a Tahitian border shirt that my husband absolutely loves. But it didn't stop at that. She gave him stickers, and made him feel so important. She then thanked him for shopping at the store and invited him back. I was driving him home to his mom and dad's and he kept asking me grandma when can we go back to the store with the nice lady? I love the staff at this location. They are attentitive yet not pushy in anyway. They welcomed my little dog inside while I shopped! They always validate parking if you purchase. Ok, it's one of those places where you know that you need to have some deep pockets for the clothing, beach chairs, and whatever your island lifestyle says that you need. Store is laid out nicely with women's on the left and men's on the right. If they don't have what you need, they will find it and ship it to you free! Incredible customer service. Horrible experience with a return my parents shop here often I was so shocked by the staff and it was like pulling teeth. No retail store like to return anything but if I'm I'm a size 0 and your extra small doesn't fit the least you can do is return it for store credit even if it's on sale. I am used to dealing with Nordstrom's and will lemon with their expert staff and the friendly personality I hope to never walk through these doors ever again for any reason whatsoever take a lesson from the expert retailers with Nordstrom's in Bloomingdale's and Lululemon!! Great selection of men's shirts and trousers. Women had a fine selection too but since I'm only shopping for me these days, I stuck to the guys side. Cool location cool store but very bad employee. My husband and I went there today for some shopping we very liked the garments and want to buy. And we asked one of the worker in the store : ' Do you guys have any deal? ' because we want to buy more than one . And he said : ' We don't bargain in this country!' We are living in this country more than 10 years . This was so unnecessary and heart breaking. We didn't say anything more than this and leave the store. This is discrimination and unacceptable.
