I had a slow leak coming from my water valve in which I was losing a lot of water. I researched…read moreplaces that could fix the issue and came across this business. I called and spoke with Randeep, who scheduled me within 2 days with an irrigation specialist. I had an appointment this past Wednesday for Danny to come by and take a look at the leak. Not only did Danny fix the leak, he replaced the valve completely with newer, more up to date parts as my home is 20+ years old. After addressing the original issue, he noticed that two of my sprinklers were not functioning and replaced them, even without me asking! Wow! He then recommended that I replace my sprinkler timer as well, since it was also an older/outdated model. I purchased a new timer, in which he took the time to walk me through step by step to make sure I understood how to use the timer and make necessary adjustments and also made sure to go through the schedule not once, but twice to ensure I was satisfied with the watering schedule and overall water flow. During the walkthrough, I noticed there was a huge leak coming from a drip line in my backyard that caused a puddle in my lawn. He explained that the leak in the drip line may have been caused my running it over with a lawnmower or by me accidentally hitting the line with a weed wacker. I asked Danny how much it would cost for him to fix the leak, and he said, "This is such an easy fix, I'm almost positive you can fix it on your own." He then recommended the parts I needed to fix the leak, and sure enough, I was able to fix it on my own! He made sure to keep in contact with me while I went to Home Depot to make sure I bought the right parts. Danny went above and beyond and provided exceptional service! He was patient, honest, kind, and very knowledgeable, which is a true reflection of the company. Nowadays, it's hard to find a trustworthy company that won't take advantage of you! Thanks again to Randeep and Danny for making this a great experience from beginning to end. I would absolutely recommend this place for any of your landscaping needs!

I can't believe it took me this long to visit The Secret Garden! I've driven past it countless…read moretimes on the freeway since moving to Elk Grove, but this was my first time stopping in, and I was genuinely impressed. My daughter's uncle, his fiancée, and I brought her here after lunch to celebrate her birthday, and they let her pick out a couple of plants to take home. It turned out to be such a fun experience. The nursery has a huge selection of plants, flowers, pots, and garden décor, and it was easy to spend way more time browsing than we had planned. Everything was well organized, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just looking for your first houseplant, there's something for everyone here. My daughter was especially excited about the plants she chose. I'm honestly a little sad that I'm moving away because I know this would have become one of my regular spots. If you're in the Elk Grove area and have been meaning to stop by like I had, take this as your sign. You won't be disappointed!

The Secret Garden is a not-so-secret nursery that isn't your average nursery. Over the years, they grew in popularity and I saw the new neon signage go up and am always excited to see their next new landscaping and added features. This is a split between gardening supplies and plants. They don't have trees like your average nursery, but more of succulents, cactus, herbs, and decorative flora. They sell tons of giants pots and has an indoor shop with cute gardening knick knacks. I've purchased many cute household plants from them. I love that the space itself is decorated to give you ideas for your next project. It's a nice stroll thru paths, gazebos, and ponds/water structures. There is an annual butterfly event when the butterflies migrate and stop by the Secret Garden's many passionfruit vines. During their summer events, there's rotating vendors. I actually found my favorite coffee from a pop-up here, which now they have a brick and mortar shop downtown, Burnside Coffee. Whether you're looking for ideas or cute plants, the Secret Garden has it. Sometimes it's just nice to stroll around their grounds. I'm hoping they expand more in the future and add more gardens and structures. Hopefully they can set up a picnic area and have more events.

Upon requesting a quote he stopped by the very next day, took measurements and presented a very reasonable price quote and estimated completion time. Every time I had a question or requested a minor change he was there the same day or the next day to meet in person. His team also helped trim our existing bushes and redo the irrigation to the front yard at no extra cost. Vince was the first person I called when I needed two small tree trunks removed from the yard this past month, and I received the same level of service and courtesy. No job is to big or small for them and I highly recommend him to any of my neighbors!

I needed a diseased fruitless mulberry removed. It kept dropping limbs every year and was pushing…read moreup concrete. I called Steve at Elk Grove Tree Service. He got back to me right away, drove by and gave me a fair quote to remove my tree and the wood, plus grind the stump (after utility marking). Not the least expensive, not the most expensive, but he is licensed, bonded, insured and has a boom truck. I also want to mention that Wesley, his foreman, is so experienced. He operated the boom and did all the high cuts. He was so careful about watching for traffic (I'm on a busy corner), where his guys were on the ground, etc. The team did a fantastic job, were fast - done in under 2.5 hours - and cleaned up nicely. I highly recommend using Steve and his team of tree experts.

We had the idea to add pavers with turf in between and they truly turned our vision into a reality. Henry was great with communicating and very easy to work with. Their quality of work is fantastic. We love our backyard! It took two days to get everything done which included digging, leveling, adding pavers, turf and sloping everything to ensure water moves to a drain. We appreciate that he was on time, built solid forms and even suggested additional drainage improvements. The finished result is better than that of a previous contractor. That said, there were some issues that detracted from the experience. We observed several crew members urinating in our yard and Tony made light of it so we had to address the workers ourselves to use a bathroom. There was also a miscalculation in the amount of concrete needed; while Tony completed the job at no extra charge using bagged concrete-which we appreciate-the situation could have been handled better from the outset given his level of experience, use a tape measure. Cleanup was a concern. The crew left behind concrete residue on surfaces like the driveway requiring several hours of my time to sweep and scrape. In summary, while the quality of the finished work is good improvements in professionalism, planning accuracy and post job cleanup would make a significant difference in the overall experience. Without these issues he's a solid 4.0/5.0 stars but we had the issues. I also overpaid $50 and my text hasn't been answered.
