My piano is the most important and cherished thing that I own. Clark and his crew did the most incredible job of moving my piano out of a small in-law unit, which was behind the house down a narrow path. The had to build a ramp to get my Yamaha U3 up and over a retaining wall on the side of the house and it still took them less than 20 minutes to get the piano up the hill to their truck. They were super careful that my piano didn't suffer any scratches or damage. I have moved my piano three times previously and I will never use any other company for moving my piano. They were extremely professional, quick but safe, well-protecting the floors, and even repaired a leg from a previous move. I can't recommend this company enough. Amazingly, the price was more competitive than their peers, who didn't respond timely. I don't expect to move our piano many times, but if it is in the Bay Area, we're definitely using Tom's. read more

We called this service to help us move a piano from my uncles house to another. Upon making the appointment, everyone was so nice. The boss was very helpful and friendly as well. However, one of the young men who works for him is less considerate. One of them had to use the bathroom right off the bat & didn't even take his shoes off on our all white carpet floor. Later upon moving the piano, the same guy who had to use the bathroom, hit his leg on a very expensive plant I own worth 1.5k and ripped the leaf. We cleared everything out of the way so that this wouldn't happen, but this plant was on the side. When his leg hit it, he kept pushing through and didn't even stop to ask if we should move it. I didn't know that plant was in the way because we already had cleared the middle way of where the piano would have gone. He should've said something if he knew his leg was pushing against it. The owner/or boss who was with them, apologized and I appreciate the apology. But unfortunately because of this incident I am unhappy with the service. I sell plants for living, including the one he broke, so this is a loss. read more

Usually I move my piano myself by renting the appropriate piano dolly set/ straps/ etc.... However, I needed my piano to be moved UPSTAIRS! Yikes, I wasn't about to try that, hah. Setting the appointment was easy & the lady was super friendly! The moving team provided a head's-up phone call a few minutes before arrival, and they were on time. They were so quick & efficient, wasting no time getting started... I mean they hopped out, 1 brought the padded dolly while the other 2 lifted my HEAVY, OLD upright piano probably 2 feet into the air, as if it didn't weigh a thing!! They rolled it out of the garage, strapped it to their special piano "sleigh" used for stairs, while 1 guy covered my stairs with protective blankets. They lined it up & literally had it upstairs (even turning a tight 90° turn at the top) within 10-15 minutes!! Amazing guys, super nice, and they care about your belongings. Definitely calling them again when I need my piano moved. read more

I went 100% off of yelp reviews when deciding who would move my piano as the previous company I had used was unavailable or no longer in business. This was the best decision ever as this family owned business definitely performed superior compared to the other 4 times this piano has been moved. I watched everything they did from setup, loading up, unloading... it was quite intriguing to watch them work and communicate in concise commands exactly how to maneuver the piano out the door and around corners and steps. My piano made it to its location with the best of care and explanation of everything done. Tom's was recommended by our kid's piano teacher who has used them several times in the past. My wife called and pick up and delivery was scheduled for the following week. Price to bring the piano from Fremont to Brentwood was far less then we expected. Service as great. They gave us a delivery window, then called with they were 20 minutes out. Again, great service. Tom and the gentlemen who was with him had it installed very quickly. We weren't sure exactly where we wanted to put the baby grand, and they were patient with us as we decided.
