First time coming here and I loved it! The whole reason why I found this place was actually advertisement I saw on TV. I decided to checkout the reviews and majority seemed pleased. Went in on a Sunday; the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, the lights are dimmed so it made it very enjoyable. I started off with some garlic fries and they were delicious! I then ordered the Primo pizza and boy was that good! All the toppings tasted so fresh and the dough was so good. To my surprise we ended getting a dessert on the house. I'm not sure if it was the manger who came up to us and asked if it was our first time, which it was, so I said yes. He mentioned since it was our first time we would be getting a free dessert! Very unexpected I must say. The service was great too, I had a really nice waitress but everyone in there was very polite upon entering. The Stromboli was good but the service was not. My husband and I sat at the bar and the bartender got my husbands beer without even asking me what I would like. We ordered the Stromboli and he put it in front of my husband. We ordered another beer and he brought my husbands and said he's waiting for a glass for me. We are happy to patronize this neighborhood place and go there often. I love the unique appetizers and salads. My family gobbles down their oven baked pizzas and pasta selections. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is due to the lack of daily specials. Because it is close by and we go so often we are ready for some menu variation. If they offered specials like Cover 2 or Jack Allen's Kitchen they would get 5 stars from me for sure. read more

The food, the atmosphere was all great! We made our own pizza and order bruschetta for the appetizer. The bruschetta was very tasty! Needs some more veggie options for pizza but it is still veggie friendly. I will definitely go back. I was a little disgruntled by the service we received. I had asked for straws for our waters and she forgot so my husband had to remind her again. Then, when she brought the straws she held them with her bare hands instead of a napkin, ok fine I will let that one go but to top it off she put the straws directly on the table. Went to Tony C's for the first time the other night; my bf and I had really been looking forward to going. However, we were supremely disappointed. First, let me start by saying WHEN we got our food it was great. Boyfriend made his own pizza combo and I got the margherita, both of which were really good. So, here's why it sucked: after promptly being seated by a hostess, we sat for over 10 minutes before the bf went inside to ask for service. We didn't even have waters yet. When he went to the hostess to ask for service there were waiters just standing around in a group talking. Nearly thirty minutes after arriving we received drinks. I had a blackberry lemon drop which was fine. Maybe 10-15 minutes passed and our waitress hadn't been back to check on us (I had long finished my drink). About 50 minutes past arriving we received our food, and I noticed a couple nearby also frustrated with the poor service as they waited for their check. So, if you like good food and don't mind waiting a long time for service, sure, go. read more

We were driving home down Parmer Lane and decided to stop in for the first time for a pizza with our toddler. We didn't have high hopes, because it seems like everything that opens up near us in Cedar Park and Leander ends up being awful. What a pleasant surprise this place was! We started with the calamari, which was served with deliciously grilled lemons, and was great. We had the prosciutto and goat cheese pizza with arugula which was awesome. This is artisan pizza, which is impossible to find in this area. Perfectly toasted and thin crusted. We always drive down to Mandola's at the Triangle to get real pizza. The service was also awesome: very kind waiter and attentive but not too much so. Thanks, Tony C's, we'll definitely be back! We wish you guys lots of success. read more

Good pizza, but I have had two bad experiences on their 2 for Tuesday deals. The first time we were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. We waited an extra 25 minutes for our food (with hungry kids waiting at home). Same thing a month later, hungry kids IN THE CAR with grandma, got there when they said the food would be ready, they did not have my order. Didn't tell me that either. They girls were very frazzled, and several people were waiting in the bar area for their food. One guy looked very unhappy. When I signed my bill, my name was not on it, and it showed they had just put the order in. They said they would discount my bill but did not. Got my rush order 30 minutes later, and the pizza was undercooked. NOT HAPPY. I wrote to them on their contact us page and I never heard back. Went to a brunch last year and it was cold and unappealing to my kids. I think I'm done with this place. read more

My wife and I went here for lunch about a week ago. I would give Tony C's 4.5 stars if this app would let me. I rarely give anyone 5 stars unless it's just out of this world awesome. We both got the $9 dollar lunch specials. I had the two slices of primo pizza (everything on it) and my wife had the baked ziti, no meat. I think Jonathan was our server. He was very courteous and attentive. Our order came out very promptly. Her ziti was really tasty for not having any meat. The garlic knots that came with it could have been more garlicy. If you like thin crust pizza in the style of The Brick Oven in Austin, then you will enjoy Tony C's pizza. It has that nice thin crispy but slightly chewy crust. The toppings were good, the sauce was just right. I feel like $4.50 per slice is a little expensive, but we had a coupon, so it mitigated the cost. The ambience was very nice, not too loud, and it did not have 30 televisions going. Thank you for that. We will visit there again. read more

Food was good and it has the potential to be a great local place, but service was not good. Waiter did not pay attention, never got lemon for water or bread as requested and had to ask a different server for it, and our server never realized it. Ordered several meals, including a pizza - he brought it out with the wrong toppings which included anchovies so the pizza had to be re-made. Music in the ladies room was way too loud and manager said they are working on that. Not sure how they don't have control over that volume. Music started off bad, with obnoxious punk rock, but progressively got better. Service was also very slow for the restaurant being fairly empty on a Sunday afternoon. read more

I was so hopeful about Tony C's -- we need more places like this in north Austin. . . The shrimp salad is excellent, as are the garlic knots, but the atmosphere flat-out kills it for me. We went on a Thursday night. It was packed, and therefore so loud that I gave up trying to have any sort of conversation with my husband. The place is glass, wood and brick. It's aesthetically pleasing, but you have to resort to sign-language to order food. Perhaps if they invested in some sort of rubber mats to absorb sound I might go back, but I am going to avoid this place. read more

I'm torn with this rating between 1 and 5 because the food is absolutely outstanding, but the event my husband and I attended today was so poorly planned for that we hard a hard time enjoying what could have been a most enjoyable afternoon. The Austin Pets Alive benefit is such a great cause and I so commend Tony C's for hosting such a wonderful initiative. However, and unfortunately, this event was oversold (my opinion), and hence, resulted in a disheveled organization of flow, improper seating availability (for MANY) and unsuitable air conditioning/ ventilation inside the restaurant during the event which was so uncomfortable that people chose to leave in order to cool off in their car on the way home. We had to sweat, eat and drink standing while people bumped into each other causing spills and food to ruin the clothing they arrived in. The food line somewhat coincided with the wine tasting line, causing confusion while also having to wait too often and too long for the food to be replenished. The group I attended this with were not the only ones who experienced this discomfort as it was blatantly obvious sooo many others were having the same experience. This really was unfortunate because it could have been such a worth while event to look forward to and recommend in the future if scheduled again. read more

We visited last night and enjoyed our experience. I think the other recent review by DJ is a bit harsh. Coming from a guy who's rated every burger joint in Cedar Park (including Carl's Jr) higher, I hope Tony C's staff blow off his review (clearly the guy has no taste buds). Our server was Tyron and he was very nice and attentive, especially during a peak time on a Saturday. The owner/manager was all over the store, serving, checking in and otherwise helping ensure all guests were having a good experience. We didn't order the fried ravioli, but I will return and try since they looked really good. Same for dessert - looked yummy. We had garlic knots, which were a little flavorless, honestly. They need to have some sort of flavor added within the dough. Hubby had a mama mia pizza - which was tasty and just the right amount of ingredients. I had the ziti, which had a lot of good fresh tastes within it (fresh basil, fresh garlic). It is hot, but once cooled down enough it was a LOT of food packed into the little skillet. Very good. The ambiance was very hip; the bar looked pretty cool to hang out. There were a few people with groups of 5 or more that had a little difficulty fitting around a table. If there are kids in a larger party, you are okay, but this place overall is really not very large. Overall, I'd give it 4 1/4 stars. It's not authentic Italian, but for the price, portions, ambiance and service, I can dig this place. read more

My husband and I went to Tony's C's on Wednesday between lunch and dinner hour it was about 3 o'clock. Of course there was almost no one in there and that was nice because it was quiet we had the soul attention of our bartender server Brianna. The atmosphere is very nice a mixture of earthy and modern had a real nice feel to it. The music was a good mix and not too loud. I was impressed by Brianna's knowledge of wine and her enthusiasm! Having spent many years in the business myself I was most eager to have a couple of nice glasses of wine try something I haven't tried and pair them with a really good food and that's exactly what I got. We ordered a variety of appetizers including the Gorgonzola stuffed figs wrapped in bacon with a balsamic lavender honey glaze. I was so happy when my husband made a face and I got them all to myself! We moved on to entrees and whenever I try and you a talian place I go to my favorite eggplant parmesan and my husband ordered his favorite strength fettucini alfredo. All of the appetizers and entrees where tasty well thought out in a presentation was absolutely beautiful definitely casual place but with a fine dining flair. Fresh ingredients presented in new ways will ensure our return. I'm so happy it is only about 5 minutes from home being in Avery Ranch. Normally we have to go downtown for an experience like that. Briana was attentive knowledgeable and fun but gave us our privacy. By the time we left it was nearly 6 p.m. The bar was full on a restaurant with starting to fill up. Since we were there for happy hour we enjoyed $2.00 off each glass of wine and domestic beers in the bottle for $2.50. Also discounts on the appetizer menu. I encourage you to try and be delighted as we were. Don't forget to try the tiramisu for dessert it was the best I ever had. read more

WORST customer service!! Went there for dinner Saturday night at 9pm, and they close at 10:30. We had a party of 10, but they were NOT busy, and there was plenty of seating inside & out. The hostess tells us first its going to be a 15min wait because there wasnt a server for us. After waiting for 15 min, the hostess then tells us it will be another 10 min because we wanted to sit outside (again there was plenty of seating outside). After waiting some more, she then tells us it would be another 20 min wait. During this time there were a few employees we could see just standing around doing nothing. It was obvious they were trying to get us to leave. Finally, we were seated. Our waiter (dont remember his name) was very friendly, but I cant say the same for the hostess. She had 0 customer service skills, was not friendly, and was very annoyed that we were there. Its a shame, because the food was actually good. But after our experience, we will NOT be coming back!!! read more

Pizza is not truly authentic Italian (too crispy), however, had a really good taste. Got traditional pepperoni (for the kids) and primo for the parents. Wife had a salad and said it was very good. Didn't try the pastas (we're fairly snobbish in pasta sauce being Italian). Waitstaff was very friendly and reasonably quick (although we were one of a very few in the place). I was in Tony C's today to get pizza for my kids. The wait staff told me it would be 30 minutes wait time. I waited for 1.5 hours and still the pizza was not out from the kitchen. The chef was not in today and these guys started taking orders which they could not handle. Plus the manager Anthony was not at all friendly or apologetic for getting the food out this late. I will give 5 star for the food, but 0 star for the attitude the management showed tonight. The wait staff and the guys in the front desk were really good, but management need to understand if you can't handle the crowd stop taking the order. you can make money the next day, but don't want to get a negative feed back. read more

Food is okay, but after the way I was treated I am never coming back. We used to go to this restaurant almost every week, like I said the food is okay, but the location is very convenient as it's 3 minutes from my house. A few weeks ago we got a gift certificate in the mail so we went to dinner one day and tried to use it, but they told me that the date was not valid yet...it was a day early. Then on another day we went to dinner, and happened to run into some friends of ours so we asked if we could put our tables together (we were sitting right next to each other) they also had one of those mail gift certificates. When we went to pay they told us that we couldn't use two, just one per table, we asked for separate checks so that my friends could use their certificate but the waiter refused and said that he couldn't split the ticket. The third time I tried to use our "gift certificate" I was told that I couldn't because it was Wednesday and it was half price day for bottles of wine. I told the manager that I was not coming back, he just smiled and said "ok" and walked away. read more

We heard this was the place to go for pizza on Tuesday's. Immediately after the gym, we headed over at about 6:30pm. We waited about 10-15min for a table. We waited about 5min for our server to take our drink order. About 10min after that, he came back to take our food order. We asked some questions and his recommendations on pizzas and salads, then we ordered. As he was leaving, he mentioned there was an hour wait for pizza. It kinda upset us that it's been about 30min since we entered the restaurant and they are barely mentioning an hour wait for pizza. Apparently their Tuesday BOGO pizza deal is extremely popular, but no one from the host to our server when he sat us thought to mention the delay prior. We took the L and decided to wait. Our salad came and tasted great. 30min after we ordered, our waiter mentioned the pizza will be out in less than 5min. We were ecstatic. 5min go by and nothing. He comes 10min later and says "There's a small delay in the kitchen. It's next to come out." We don't see him for about 15-20min after that. We are literally dying. I felt like we were on fear factor/punk'd as everyone around us left and the section of the restaurant depleted. Around that time, one of the managers came to us and said "we are deeply sorry, but the stove went out. We didn't notice it until it got cold and now we are starting it back up. We are not sure how long it will take. Do you want us to bring you menus so you can order some appetizers or more salad while you wait?" I think this is where I got most upset. Your stove breaks and you don't come to offer apps/salads to your table or just bring out something on the house after they've been waiting a ridiculously long time for their food and their waiter has disappeared to other tables? About 5-10min after that, another manager approaches us to ensure we knew what was going on, and he did not offer anything either. At this point, one of my party was so livid, he just left home. It was past 8pm and the restaurant had slowed down completely. Our pizza came out after about 80min with our server saying "don't worry guys I'm gonna take care of you. Let me get some refills so you can eat well" As it came out, we asked for our check. Ate a slice or two. Packed the rest home. We got charged every single item, including an extra knot bread since the large shareable salads only come with one small one. I am furious at the management (two separate managers) who took 0 responsibility for the situation. read more
