Tony's Fusion is your standard Sushi/Asian restaurant that blends a variety of Asian type foods made by a variety of Asian cooks and sushi chefs. This is not a fusion of Italian and Asian foods as at one point I had thought. Ha! Just Kidding!!! First impression, when I walked it I noticed that the restaurant was bordering oppressively hot. I get it- It was early October and why would you put the AC on but I really don't care. It was a warm day and it was hot unnerve building. Make it comfortable please. The room was appropriately lit- darker than it appeared from outside but it was nice- I hate brightly lit dining rooms. Tables were lit well from above. I sat at the bar, next to the sushi bar- no seating directly at the sushi bar- boo!!! I asked for a beer and got one. It was cool but not warm- another no-no. Maybe it's because it was 80° inside... I ordered a sushi special- 8 pieces of nigiri and the fish was perfect. Price was right too. Prior, I was also served standard duck sauce and Asian chips, a nice touch. Finally, I don't know what what the deal was with my server but he literally kicked my barstool 6 times when he walked by me tending to other tables and not once did he apologize. A kind & wonderful waitress ; Tara. We kept it simple, I got 3 lunch roll special. my Daughter got a fancy lunch roll... I forgot to take note of it oh it was something redhead . She loved it & ate it all! we were given home made fried noodles with duck sauce when we were first seated . and honestly I think that is a class move anywhere you go to eat... you don't get many things "free" these days , so we appreciated the effort . NOT to mention they were AMAZING! you wouldn't think there would be a difference but I am here to tell you there is. Also, we got the crab rangoon's as an APP . those are the best crab Rangoon's I've ever had. The ratio of filling to fried dough was perfect. Usually you get way too much dough and not enough filling so right off the bat we were two for two.. I tried new rolls since it was a new experience at this place. We have never been here before. I loved them. I got a shrimp, cucumber, a spicy, crunchy salmon and a spicy crunchy tuna delicious!! . you also get a bowl of miso soup with that. Which was , very good as well. Never again! I have spent so much money there. The last 3 times? Disgusting! They ripped me off for a fried ice cream that's $14.95 on their website and charged me $29.95. We have been coming out east for several decades and I am sorry that I did not try Tony's sushi sooner! We started coming this year and it is always freshly made and the business seems to be well organized. They didn't mix up our orders and they were careful, paying attention to each customer and taking their time to write and double confirm each order verbally. I recommend the California roll and my husband and they have a lot of options for sushi lovers and non-sushi lovers here. I'll be honest : 1st of all the food is very good . No complaints there. Been going to all locations for years. However the prices you see on the website are completely different than their menus . You call in order & just be prepared for sticker shock. I told 2 ppl there the website must be updated to accurately report their 2021 pricing. According to their website the prices should be: Pt wonton soup was $2.50 each. Now it's $3.99. Thats a 52% price increase Fried Wontons were $4.50 each. Now it's $5.99. That's a 33% increase. Eggrolls were $1.75 each. Now they're $2.75 each. A 57% increase. Yet, the Qt of fried rice was 9.25 and now $9.99. Only a 33% increase. Sure it's little on each, but on the overall order price it was $10 more upon picking up price VS pricing on their website. No across the board/ consistent price % increase to items. And I paid cash. Again, food is delicious. Just a heads up to bring enough cash and be aware the website pricing is way off. read more

First, and last time ordering from here. Ordered through DoorDash for lunch, so I can't say about delivery time, but the food was atrocious. I ordered sesame chicken, and I don't know what I got but there were no sesame seeds on the chicken. One or two pieces were undercooked and pink, and the pork fried rice was... gray... the egg roll was okay, but greasy. Bland, tasteless, and I'll probably be in the bathroom in a few minutes. I've been here before and the food was good, but this trip the food was only passable at best. My girlfriend asked if they could be sure not to make any of her food in any oil or otherwise that they cook seafood in because she has a seafood allergy and could go into anaphylactic shock if they did that. Well the waitress Liz, said they make egg rolls in different oil, then she said they make it in the same oil two seconds later. Smy girlfriend ordered the chicken and shrimp pineapple fried rice without the shrimp for obvious reasons. First she said they wouldn't cook it in the same place, then when we said are you sure? Because she could have a medical emergency, Liz responded "Well if anything happens let us know okay?" I got beef chow fun, which was slightly less fun than chow . I asked for a pork egg roll as an appetizer that arrived 20 minutes after my main course, but had to ask for it twice from the waitress before it came. It was flavorless,so I wondered where the pork flavor might have been, so I emptied the other half onto my plate. It was no shock that I paid $2.75 for a pork egg roll that was entirely devoid of any molecule of pork whatsoever, nothing but fried dough and cabbage. I asked the waitress to ask the chef what happened to the pork in the pork egg roll? When I asked again, she said "don't worry, that won't happen again" I said , you can be sure it won't,because I'll never be back. Overpriced, bad service, mediocre food and bad attitude with a phoney smile is something I won't be pay $100.00 for ever again which included the take out I ordered to leave with. This used to be one of the best Chinese restaurants on the north fork...but not any more. Take out sushi review: got three rolls (spicy girl, Tokyo lucky, and the million dollar roll). They were all so good I was shocked the rolls were only 14-16 per roll. Highly recommend the Tokyo lucky roll which has scallops on top which were fresh buttery and delish. My boyfriend and I could decide which was our favorite. We typically stick to nice sushi restaurants but have this a shot since we wanted something quick and inexpensive. Soooo good- gave up plenty of soy sauce, wasabi, ginger and chopsticks. Ordered takeout and family took advantage of both Japanese and Chinese menus by getting Egg Foo Yung, General Tso's chicken, and sushi. The owner has a very efficient method of handing over the food during the current pandemic. The food was amazing. Very clean and fresh. Egg foo Yung was cooked perfectly and the brown sauce added so much flavor. None of the food was heavy or greasy like typical takeout can sometimes be. Will definitely be going here again. I used to love the place but the last 3 orders they got completely wrong and could care less. I'm a vegetarian and twice they gave me pork dumplings instead of veggie dumpings, and then the next time I ordered broccoli with garlic sauce they gave me shrimp with garlic sauce. I would not consider this an "Asian Fusion" restaurant. As others have said, it's a place that serves Thai, Chinese and Japanese dishes, not dishes comprised of combined cuisines. They have excellent happy hour deals so they're definitely worth a visit for that. The food was perfectly fine. The chicken with cashews was delicious while the yakitori was super salty. I wouldn't mind returning to try the sushi or some of their Thai dishes. On a Sunday night it was not that crowded, so I would have loved more attentive service. If I'm really honest with myself, I give Tony's a 3.4ish, but because it's the only affordable sushi near me, I'll round up. I've never had bad sushi here; everything has always been fresh and yummy. For takeout, it can be kind of a long wait, but it's sushi and usually there's just one person doing the sushi, so I get it. They have a great lunch special, and I have to remind myself to get something other than sushi next time, because I always sample their Thai and Japanese dishes when my family orders them and am never disappointed.
