The food isn't the greatest, but it's a must stop for huge portions and friendly service. They have huge portions and charge for a plate if you share. The prices are decent as well. There's lots of parking to choose from. The restaurant is a greasy spoon truck stop. All the staff are nice and friendly. Our food came out quickly and hot.

The food is soooo good. Waitress was really good, the interior was dated but clean and you can look past the dated interior because the food is so good. The bacon and eggs had a 1 pound of bacon. And homemade strawberry jelly came with the meal. I would give this 5 most definitely only because the rating doesn't go any higher.

This place is nothing like you think! I would not have went to a greasy spoon restaurant by a gas station! Wow, the wait staff were great, the food was plenty, and tha bacon!! If you are near, stop in and you won't regret it!!

The 1lb BLT is amazing and worth the trip on its own. Everything else we had was ehhhhh. I would also recommend the turkey club just based on seeing it being delivered. The clam chowder average at best. The service was average, but I realize they serve so many people in a day it is what it is. Our table was also a horrible spot. It was situated right next to the register. Literally butts on our table for most of the meal. The interior is odd mix of conjoined spaces.

Holy cow! This was my first time at Tony's and the serving sizes are no joke! The BLT was actually shockingly large Our server treated us like regulars who'd been there a hundred times, and overall it just had a very old-timey diner vibe that we loved. Definitely going to become a tradition for us to stop here!

One of the Best BLTs in the states. One pound of bacon served on house made bread with crispy fresh lettuce. Worth the trip for that or the turkey club alone. The clam chowder was fine but not very hot. The stuffing was pure comfort food. Maybe I'd get it with gravy. Lots of colorful characters and fast service even with the long lines at the door. Your typical greasy diner experience which I love.

Wow, wow! This place is amazing. Everything is huge and oversized. The staff is friendly and the food tastes amazing. I look forward to coming here wverytime I cone to Michigan from Ohio.

You go to Tony's for the novelty of this place. Not for great quality food. In case you haven't been here before, the portions are massive for everything, but the bacon is probably what they are known best for. I'm boring so I just got my egg whites and toast. It was probably about the equivalent of 5 eggs and the toast is very large. My friend got eggs, bacon and hash browns and he had about 3 eggs buried under a pound of bacon and about 3 servings of hash browns with the large pieces of toast. It's fun, the service is good and the prices aren't bad. If you've never been here you have to try it at least once. They have been here for decades!!

How can you complain with so many menu items to choose from , many that come with a full pound of perfectly cooked bacon!!!! Incredible thick toast. I really wanted to buy a loaf of bread but as we were passing through it would not have made the trip. Great service too. Greeted in such a friendly welcoming way. It had been quite some decades since I had been here last and I'm so happy we made the stop and will be sure to again on our way back downstate!!!!

This is 2 breakfast orders. $21. No sides. And there was a third egg hiding under my toast!

I cannot stop chuckling to myself. I've HEARD about this place of course. But you just have to learn yourself. We stopped for breakfast on our way north and my husband ordered a "Bacon and cheese omelette." Thinking it was a bit of diced bacon tossed with the eggs, he contemplated ordering a side of bacon... but didn't... Because I ordered the "eggs... bacon (1 lb)... toast" for $9.99 and I figured I'd just have 2 pieces cuz I'm doing weight watchers. Omg!!!! it was eggs wrapped around a pile of bacon! (PS: These poor reviews? Get over yourself!)

This place has to be the best bang for your buck. Period. Friendly staff and good vibes all around. I highly recommend.

This was an old style diner. Loved the atmosphere. Employees were very friendly and if you leave there hungry you have a problem. BLT was crisp and can see the picture oh my stars.

Food is disgusting. Portions are ridiculous. The entire meal we had was processed food except the meat which wasdso dry we couldn't eat it.

The service was ok but the Alfredo noodles were horrible!! They were watered down and messy! I hope I have a better experience elsewhere.

A true diner. Quick, delicious, and huge portions. We dined for breakfast and sat right by the cook line and enjoyed the experience.

Great food. Service was good. Be prepared to wait a bit to get seated. They are busy but it moves fast. Typical diner atmosphere.

The bar was quiet, calm, dark and cold but seemed like a chill vibe. Our waitress was okay, service was quick and she did her job well but didn't smile and wasn't very talkative or seemingly friendly. We asked what her favorite appetizers were and we ordered the Loaded Potato Balls based on her recommendation - they were great! 10/10! Loaded with flavor, very moist and served with 3 sauces - ranch, spicy ranch and sour cream. The ranch and spicy ranch were not great - tastes like they're bottled not homemade. The sour cream though, that was a good compliment. We both ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich - 10/10! They're hand breaded, juicy and tender chicken breasts topped with lettuce, tomato and mayo on a perfectly warm brioche bun. Our meal was served so hot, it was perfect. I would absolutely go back just for this sandwich! The homemade chips for the side were great, crispy and lightly seasoned. I had the tater tots with mine and they tasted freezer burnt, wouldn't get them again. We also had a side of their house made coleslaw and it was perfect, ice cold and a great balance of flavor. Draft beer wasn't super cold - it would be better served in a frosted glass. Overall- it's good, we'd come again! Next time we'd sit at the bar top as the bartenders seemed to enjoy more casual conversation and friendly vibes with their customers.

But we just wanted lunch so it was fine! The menu is small but it was fine - we all found something we liked and when one of us didn't, the person behind the counter made her a grilled sandwich to order. I got a grilled chicken BLT. It was not a traditional chicken breast but something along the lines of a chipped chicken lunchmeat. Overall, it was "ok" - it tasted ok and it filled my stomach. The custom grilled sandwich was a tad soggy but tasted "ok" as did the meatball sub. No serious complaints but nothing exceptional either. Maybe it was just our preferences or maybe it was just who was cooking that day. ‍
