For starters, I'm not a huge fan per se of Italian food and I'm not the type to typically set time aside to post reviews. Outside of Pizza, don't care much for spaghetti, or meatballs, or Lasagna or Penne A La Whatever. But, these guys? Just set the standard and made me a fan of Italian food at the ripe age of 54. The Spaghetti Ai Frutti Di Mare, good gosh, unlike anything that I have ever tasted before. Absolutely amazing is all I can say. My wife I believe had haddock, gave me a bite, melts in your mouth. My step daughter has the chicken marsalla, another knock out. The atmosphere was decent, family oriented, nice lighting, I'd say 7 out of 10. Parking lot gets full quick around dinner time (understandable truthfully). But the food??? 15 out of 10. We have been coming here numerous years, especially on our anniversary. We dined yesterday, ordering the veal parm, and was very disappointed in the quality of the veal. This is a real find. I found this while traveling in the Binghamton area. The food and environment is on point. The lunch special was a salad and choice of soup or pizza which was filling. Bought three higher priced dinners, one we needed to take home to mom who is ill and Tony's refused to provide the salad that comes with my mom's dinner (with no discount while missing salad and bread). I was really skeptical about the "homemade" pasta, but that claim really is legitimate. The Penne had obvious differences between noodles where you can tell that it didn't come from a box, some of the Pappardelle was sticking and when you pulled it apart could still see some of the flour where they had coated it (not like lumpy or anything, didn't affect the taste at all). The pricing was amazing for the quality of food. We were just traveling here, but if we're ever in town again we will absolutely come back. read more

Sorry gang - no photos because, well, I ate it too fast. Tony's is my go to when I don't want to think too hard at the end of the day because (a) they carry my house wine in the bar (Masi Campofiorin, a supervenetian that I have been drinking since the 1980s) and (b) I love the veal piccata. Hard to believe that I have not reviewed this local spot yet. I finally decided to check out how they are doing in the COVID era. Tony's experienced a mandated close back in July. That been resolved but are currently keeping the dining room closed - take away only, folks! So my order? Three cheers for my piccata - as lemony and rich as I love - there is no breading or browning here (don't get crazy on me!) but you will get two large pieces of veal - and I always choose spaghetti with red sauce as a side. Don't come after me about sauce. If you are eating in Endicott (or anywhere in Greater Binghamton), you will have a favorite. This is a bit sweet but blending it with the piccata makes it perfect for me. Side salad was a bit ordinary (greens, olives, cucumbers... grape tomatoes?) but I order crumbled blue cheese to sprinkle on the Italian dressing. Free Italian bread and butted on the side. $21 netted two meals for me. Sadly, could not have a glass of wine at the bar, but fortunately, I have Masi at home. Overall, old faithful experience but cannot speak to service (since that is an inside thing) beyond the order taking and hand-off of food. The take out parking signs in front should be removed for now (since you currently drive around to the back side for to go orders - rather than knock on the front door with a wistful piccata-less look). And I would have liked to know my order price before I arrived (but I was committed regardless). Be advised, if paying by credit card, you will provide those details by phone when placing your order. And remember - tip heavy if you can. Keep our local restaurants in business. read more

The good - the pasta is perfectly cooked al dente and the tomato sauce isn't overly sweet, nor do they dump a truckload of oregano in it like some places in this area. The meatball is pretty good and YUGE. The steak I ordered perfectly cooked medium rare. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly, the crowd was great. The bad - nothing "bad", per se. The tomato sauce worked better on the pizza than it did on the spaghetti. The tiramisu was ok, but had way too much nutmeg on top. I've been going to Tony's Italian Grill for many years. Their food is always delicious and fresh and their service is good. I had to take a star off because their Ranch dressing has bacon in it. I don't eat bacon and I love ranch dressing. I have never seen bacon in a ranch dressing anywhere. It ruined my dinner and I was disappointed. Also, their past is undercooked in my opinion so I learned to ask them to cook it more. Other than that I do love going there so I highly recommend it. I like the atmosphere. read more

This evening my companion visited Tony's for dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server, Mike, took our drink order and our dinner selections very promptly. My companion ordered Pasta Fagiola to start and ordered homemade Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and shrimp. I ordered the Salmon Spinach Salad. The salmon was perfect - seared on the outside and moist & tender inside. The dressing on the salad was delicious as well! My companion loved his food as well.
