Came here for lunch with my friend. We usually get the sandwiches, but since it was cold, we both had coffee and warm food. I wanted to try the fried zucchini and it didn't disappoint! It was amazing! Nice and crispy outside and moist on the inside. Delicious ranch dressing came with the plate. I ordered the two topping pizza with mushrooms and onion and my friend had the Shrimp Spaghetti Scramble with soup and garlic bread. The portions are plentiful and we took some home. Paloma, our waitress, was friendly and greeted us with a smile. I want to support this place as they are a little mom and pop restaurant. They've been there for decades. Their food is fresh and tasty, the restaurant is clean and roomy, and it's nice to support the community. read more

Staff brushes you off and are not very helpful once they take your order. Last time we visited it took over an hour to get 2 sandwiches when there was only one other table being use. If they can't handle that even after we kept reminding the waitress, i would hate to be in there when it's really busy. read more

We came here in 2024 and ordered a pizza and pasta, and all went home w/ food poison. we gave it a lil over 10months to try again and the service was horrible. we waited over an hr. to get our food and others were served before us. I asked the waitress for our food and she said let me check. after 10 minutes went to the back and told them to cancel it. they workers were in the back shootin the breeze band looked shocked when I said cancel the order. They were like we're making it... I said cancel the order and we left. It was packed so we gave it them the benefit.... but when others r ordering pizza and wings and we order 2 cold cut sandwich's like what's the excuse? Tony's Pizza has been around as long as I can remember and I don't recall anyone I know complaining about the food from this place. I have friends that come here from a different part of town that really like the pizza, they just have to worry about the crowd. It is a locals spot so if your not one of them you do run the risk of someone wanting to start trouble. Considering this, I still like the food and will not deter me from ordering from here, I just won't eat inside. Wifey ordered pizza, wings and salad online and the order took about 40 minutes and when we picked it up the lady had a good attitude and promptly brought our food. The food was bomb. I will still order from here and recommend this to friends and family. Price is not cheap but nowadays what is. There is lots of free parking outside. read more

the staff is so friendly and nice. the Pizza is best when you order and eat in because its fresh right out of the oven. the pizza crust is excellent as well especially dipped in ranch or marinara sauce. I find it crazy this place always had the best service and food but unfortunately things have changed drastically. The garlic bread was not toasted and the fettuccine jiggled! I've never eaten fettuccine that jiggled. And was flavorless. I think I added about half the bottle of Parmesan. And it was still bland. I was starving by the time I got there so I ate my food and paid, but will never return. I didn't want to leave a bad review but I have been coming here for years and I'm super disappointed in the food quality. I came with my friends after going to the Nethercutt Car Museum, we got three appetizers, which would've been MORE than enough for all of us! Then the pizza, lasagna, and stuffed shells arrived, and we could not believe the volume of food. Everything was unbelievably amazing. The garlic bread was perfect, the breading on the fried zucchini was seasoned perfectly, not oily or soggy, jalapeño appetizer was just as amazing. The pasta was cooked perfectly and seasoned deliciously. The pizza dough was fresh and light - delicious. We couldn't believe how amazing it was and how reasonably priced it was. This place has won multiple awards for their different pizzas. Besides the fact that some of their combinations are unique, they also have different sizes (personal to giant) and different types of dough (thin to the thickest). Wow what happened ??? I hate to leave a bad review for a local Business but people shouldn't waste the money. This pizza place used to be one of my favorites, ordered 2 large pizzas and raviolis. First they said 20 minutes then 1 hour later the food comes. Then you can tell it was just sitting because of the moisture from the heat made the box and the pizza crust soggy. And gross. The raviolis taste strange. And the garlic bread was not even toasted seems like it was microwaved. What happened ????? I'm so sad. I loved this place for years ! read more

I should have believed the negative reviews! I had the meal for two $30, two pitchers of beer $35 and mozzarella sticks $7. It was a party of three of us. I got a chicken and rice soup: my first one was missing the chicken and rice... it was all broth! My second soup had a band aid stuck to the crackers. Why would they think to give me a third? I couldn't eat it after the bandaid soup! My small pizza that comes with the dinner for two was burned... like really burned/hard. I ordered chicken parmigiana and Lasagna for the entrees in the meal for two. The chicken Parmigiana never came, instead they gave us fettuccini Alfredo. She offered to put the chicken parm in but that "it would take a really long time". The lasagna was just gray mush. After complaining to two waitresses throughout our 2 1/2 hr experience they brought me the bill without any adjustments. I had to go and talk to the manager because she was too "busy" to come to our table. The waitress told me to go and talk to her instead. Btw the managers kids were in the back playing around where food is prepared. They definitely don't care about the customers. She took off $20 from a $80 bill. Also, the restroom was completely utterly unsanitary! I hate to write this review because I like supporting local businesses but this experience was just way too awful! ******NEW OWNERSHIP****** ¡¡¡Do yourself a sold and stay away!!! I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. This is where I had my first beer with my dad when I was 18. I have known all the owners well throughout the years. My daughters soft drink cup had lipstick on it, she doesn't wear any makeup. Our pizza plates that where placed on the table where dirty. The service was horrible and the staff is rude. I had to ask for extra napkins 5 times. I had to keep asking for our sandwich when they finally brought it we took it to go. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. The service is so bad yet the pretty much demand a tip. We got all of our food except a sandwich how do we all eat and the cold sandwich that was ordered first come out last? It breaks my heart to see what was such a great place get ran into the ground. They found my order slip, and they forgot to turn it into the cook. We've been frequenting this pizza joint for a while now, and it helps that it's just a few blocks away! Their pizza has a fantastic Chicago style deep dish feel to it that is just a gem here in Sylmar. Their sauce is fantastic and you can even dine in! Beer and cocktails? Yes, please! All the ingredients have a fresh quality to them and the thickness of the pie just really hits the spot when you haven't had carbs in a while. I've been meaning to try more of their foods cause everything on their menu sounds delicious. I'm currently obsessed with their mozzarella sticks. I love how they accompany them with meat sauce. Never again. Tried it when we moved here 10 years ago and it was crap then. Tried again yesterday (11/11/22) and it was worse than the 1st time. Not to mention the worker HAD 2 KIDS IN THE DINING AREA COUGHING. There was a parking enforcement there on a lunch date and they left so fast. In the end we were the ONLY people at 3 pm on a HOLIDAY on a Friday. The pizza was the only thing that was decent. The garlic bread, lasagna, and anti pasto salad were crap. I asked for "stella artois" she brings me wine. I want stella the beer, oh we no hab dis, well why the 12 signs of stella of you don't carry it? I was in the San Fernando area and I found Tony's Pizza right when I walked in I was greeted by the staff (plus plus) with a smile I went to place my order I grabbed two pies and two pasta entrees and some hot wings when I got home I opened up my pies and immediately knew it was going to be a delight topping were a healthy portion for a pie and when I bit into a slice the dough was so soft but with a bit of a crunch amazing!!! Pastas also were amazing one order can feed 3 to 4 people and their wings were so amazing you can tell they make their wings sauce and it not the normal commercial sauce everyone uses. Just went to this place today service took forever, waitress left for lunch without saying a word to us,didn't allow to split bill in 3 different orders, it was super hot in there,& there was a lady coughing her lungs out in the back where the kitchen is. I first ordered their food for delivery and loved every bite. The salad is good, homemade dressing, Italian dressing to die for. Decent Garlic Bread though a bit greasy. Great pizza, flavorful crust. Spaghetti and Meatballs great, especially the meatballs. Their Health Department rating is Grade A and I didn't find anything that wasn't A quality. Ordered same meal for dine in tonight. Everything was the same except the spaghetti was mixed with angel hair pasta which I abhor. The sauce and meatballs were still great though. Great service, people friendly. Never disappointing, the food is always hot, fresh, delicious, and the prices are fair. They give you huge portions, so sharing is a good idea unless you want to take some home. Staff is friendly too which is definitely a plus! It's a cool place to go watch a baseball or football game and has a few games for the kids too. Not a big place though, so if you have a lot of people, I'd recommend calling ahead of time or ordering to go. Definitely a call place you have to try at least once. read more

Tony's Pizza is indeed one of two Italian eateries in the city of San Fernando. The other is Caruso's. I'll compare this place to Caruso's since that's its only competition. Tony's Pizza is a good place. The food is always hot and fresh. The portions are definitely big and the price is cheap compared to the portion you get. The downside of this nice establishment is that the quality of the food id mediocre. Being of Italian descent I know what good pasta is. And Tony's is far from it. Although it is quite tasty, don't expect anything amazing. Pizza here is good and fully filled with whatever toppings. Pasta is always over cooked and the sauce is a simple but good can sauce. i would give this joint a 3 star and a half. But 3 I think is good enough. Tony's Pizza is a good spot for Italian. You won't be let down but you won't be amazed either. Good food, big portions, small prices. read more
