Price that I paid was more than double what I had expected to pay. When I asked for an estimate for a future repair for the pipe under the bathroom sink, it was close to $500.00! I called Tony's Plumbing last Friday for a faucet and toilet repair/replacement. Tony scheduled the job for 12pm. He came along with his associate exactly at 12pm. Both of my faucets and the fluid valve had to be replaced. What I liked about this company's service was that before Tony started any work he told me how much it would cost me to have those items replaced and approximate time. He was very meticulous and made sure there was no leak after the installation of all the parts. All the trash and old parts were taken away. After all the work was done, Tony once again, went over all the work and parts along with the pricing that were needed to complete the job. Wanted a maintenance on the sewage drain and had Tony come out. I used him several years ago and he did a great job then. He snaked the drain and was quick and professional. Had a 2nd job with a new sink I had installed where the drain wasn't flowing the right direction. He could have said that all the pipes needed to be replaced (which another plumber said), but Tony looked at it and said all I needed to do was change the drain on the sink. The model we had was very deep and wasn't a standard size. We really never needed it that deep. He suggested it was easy and I could do it. I choose to have him do it since the price was reasonable and I rather not make 3 trips to the hardware store. He did it in about 15 minutes and everything was perfect. Tony saves the day again. :-) Needed him again for the same problem as down below. 2.5 years later. Ha ha, and back then, he told me, we'd have to have him do it again. Yup! He was busy the 1st day, had a hydrojet person out, and they couldn't clear our main drain clog. Had a 2nd person out, he tried, but he didn't know how to use "the big rig" up on the roof through that vent line. (He did clear it for 2 days, but then the clog came back, probably further down the line this time, he came back and did the same exact thing, and didn't work). Fail #2. I tried Tony again (he can be hard to get a hold of, but be persistent, he's worth it), and I didn't time it, but in probably less than an hour, he fix our clogged main drain problem again. [This time? I will hit it harder with the root killer stuff, that's our problem. Tree roots in the drain line.] Previous Review: 3/30/2017 Love this guy. Had a main drain line problem. Had another plumber scheduled to come out, and took a day off for that. The guy texts 20 min before the appt, that he won't make it. Crap. Clogged drain, took a day off of work, and now I have a no-show. So called Tony, and he said he'd try to squeeze me in after his current job. Didn't hear anything, didn't hear anything, went to get my kids from school, telling myself I'd give him a call when I got back. When we did get back though, he and his buddy were already at work, snaking through the vent line on the roof. I was so happy. I have hand snaked my two house drain lines into the main line, multiple times over the years. So I know how it's done. I could see pretty quickly, they knew what they were doing too. They just have a bigger, longer snake, that's electric powered (and in this case, with a cutter at the end, to hack through the tree roots that were the problem). Yaay! To be fair, my initial contact with Tony was great. First time I called, he answered and scheduled the appointment for the very next day - excellent! On the day of the appointment, he was right on time. He had another person helping him and fixed the job right away. Minus 2 stars for the following reasons, and I feel that I'm being generous in my review: - When he gave me the pricing, I mentioned that I saw the discount on Yelp, at which time he said the discount was already included, but when I saw the paperwork, there wasn't any note about a discount, but what can I do? So I just agreed to the quoted amount. He said his work was guaranteed for 30 days. - 5 days later, we heard a loud POP and something busted in the toilet. I called him that evening, then the following morning and then the following evening after that - NOTHING. Out of frustration, I gave him a quick negative review here on yelp. Then he called me right away. He explained that he had a huge job that took a huge chunk of his time. I'm not trying to be insensitive and I know that fires come up in all our businesses, but a simple call, "I'm really busy right now, but I received your messages and I promise to get back to you by _____ date" would have been great. It wasn't an emergency, so it could have waited a couple of days - no problem. - Finally, after the toilet was fixed I received SEVERAL text messages, asking me to change my review on yelp, so.. here is my review. Back in November just before Thanksgiving we found that there was some sort of link under our sink. The bottom and the back of the sink were wet. I tried calling several plumbers based on Yelp reviews and Tony's was the first I was able to get in touch with and make an appointment for later that day. They arrived quite late, though they did let me know they were running behind. As soon as they got to my house I could tell they were in a rush and they even mentioned they had more appointments they had that evening. I showed them where the wet spots were under the sink (it had also gotten to the hardwood in the kitchen). The first thing they said (not particularly helpful) was that if it was related to the dishwasher or pipes from the dishwasher they couldn't do anything about it. To me this seemed like they were setting themselves up to not have to do any work, but still collect their fee for coming out. They quickly set about looking under the sink. The first guy couldn't see anything leaking and was about to tell me so when the other person there went under and claimed to see where the leak was coming from. A couple minutes later they claimed they were done and charged us for the work. It's now about a month later (past the 30 days they provide warranty on the work) and there is now water under the sink again. We have tried contacting them and all we get is a message that says the voicemail box is full. 1 star is deserved for bad attitudes, being in a rush, and for the job not being actually completed (given that the same leak is happening only a month later. read more

I, like most people, lurk on Yelp to find a bite to eat or a specific service. I rely on the reviews to either sway me towards or away from an establishment . I do not write reviews simply because I do not have the time to, like most people. However, in this situation I had to take some time out just to write this review for the simple fact of warning other customers of their service. I called them on a Wednesday and was told that they would be at my home to fix a leaky shower faucet on Thursday between 1-2pm. I took the time off of work just to be home so they could tend to my faucet. 2pm passes, no plumber, no call. I think to myself, ok perhaps they are busy, I'll give him the 10 minute rule. 2:10 passes and still no call and no plumber. I initiate the call and was told that they were on the way. He tells me that he should be at my home at 2:25pm. Nowhere close to "between 1-2pm." Bottom line is the communication was horrid. I would have appreciated a call earlier stating that they would be running late, but I got nothing. I don't have much to say about the actual work they do, I'm sure they are great at it but I like to take my business to places that pride themselves in customer service, and I'll bet that the majority of you all do too. read more

This time was a clean-out where another plumber came out and couldn't clear it (turns out he was using too small of an auger - both the diameter and length were inadequate). WOW! I can't say enough about Tony and his team. I just bought and moved into a new house which has old, cast iron pipes in the laundry room. The first time I tried washing clothes, water was spewing everywhere from the old pipes. I was desperately needing a plumber. After reading Yelp reviews, I decided to call Tony. Excellent service, friendly and most importantly HONEST. First time I called him was to ask for help hooking up the water line to my fridge. He had to come twice (once to unhook from old fridge and next to reconnect to new fridge). Was great that he didn't charge me twice. Second was for a clog in my sewer line. After trying to unclog it from under the house, they went to the clean out and figured it was clogged there. Which it was. Some one threw a bottle in it. !!!!! Terrible people. After some fancy moves he got it out and they flushed it again. Third time I called was today. He totally remembered me. The sewer pipe was backed up again and only a few months after he unclogged it. Tony immediately asked me to call the city since the clog was likely at the clean out (again) and see if they would fix it for me instead of having me pay him for the job. And the city did manage to fix it for me. For free. How honest is that... Had a shower plumbing problem - I had broken off a shower pipe and the remaining shard of threaded pipe was still inside the female copper fitting. Tried fixing this myself but after two hours called these guys. I didn't actually time them with a stopwatch, but I honestly believe they showed up faster than an ambulance would respond to a real emergency. Tony is AMAZING!!! My kitchen disposal was clogged with glass, and while I cleaned it all out the disposal still would just make a humming sound. I called Tony and let him know that I've tried everything, including the re-set button and using the allen wrench to un-clog it. Nothing worked. Tony's suggested I fill the entire sync with water and then turn it back on, and that stream will clear remaining glass that must still be somewhere in the apparatus. It worked like a charm!
