For my issue, it was a kitchen sewer line that was leaking for past year underneath my crawlspace, and I was very pleased with the service that Chris and his team provided. I cannot emphasize how professional and prompt Chris was to come to inspect the area. The crawlspace was a mess with sewage built up from the leaky sewer pipe with mold / flies / critters everywhere. We found out that the plumbing system was not assembled to code by previous ownership. Like other reviewers, he didn't even need to go down crawlspace and knew what was happening - which to me means he's definitely seen this many times, especially in aging homes in Bay Area! He immediately offered two options - one long term vs affordable option. Not wanting to sacrifice quality, I chose the long term option which was replacing the whole pipe / bringing the whole kitchen plumbing network to building code. Chris and his team offered to fix the pipes and clean everything up at very reasonable prices with warranty as well. In half a day, everything was done and we saw immediate improvement in reduced sewer smell and flies. Highly recommended. I discovered wet bath mats in an unused bath so I couldn't blame the kids. I checked underneath the subfloor and saw a puddle. I turned off my water main and even that was still leaking! Señor Rooter came to the rescue! Raffa worked diligently and found and repaired 2 supply leaks. (He even had to remove the toilet) and replaced my main shut-off. Raffa was professional and courteous. We have a super small bathroom, lined it with plastic and kept the chaos contained. He must have had to come in and out of the house at least 20 times and removed and reapplied his shoe booties each time. After he completed his work, he cleaned up (and yes, installed new toilet wax ring and didn't charge me for it) and everything is wonderful! Running water contained in pipes is a wonderful thing! I don't even know where to start with these guys... TLDR these guys are amazing and cannot recommend them enough, if anything 5 stars is not enough. A few weeks ago, we had a horrible weekend where our bathroom pipes kept backing up after we had tried snaking it ourselves. We called another plumbing company to take a look. After a few hours and phone calls, they came and took a look and after a few minutes with a camera, they confirmed that we had roots and just said that we should either hydro jet our pipes or pay a ridiculous amount to fix the problem. They also couldn't find a clean-out valve so went through a side pipe. We paid for them to hydrojet the thing and then they went on their way. After 2-3 days, the backup was happening again and we had no idea why. We called the old company first and they said they would have someone call me between 8-9 and no one did. Then someone said they would call me from 3-4 and no one did. Mind you the most recent incident happened at 11:30PM at night on a Thursday. So obviously we needed to shop around. Señor Rooter was the first to get back to us and was able to send someone over around 9AM that very next morning to take a look. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chris on their side was texting me, keeping me updated along the way with where they were at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Right on time, I met with Jesús and one other individual who were super kind and professional and understood me freaking out. I listed out what the other company had done. Within 15 minutes they were able to tell me: 1) Yes we have roots, but not just in the area that the other company had seen. 2) There was actually a clean-out right at the front of the house (we had a lot of plants in the way) 3) The last company that did this probably made things worse by hydrojetting; they also should have told us that there was a major issue in the first place. Turns out, our main sewage pipe leading out to the street was not only full of roots, but soil because part of the pipe had collapsed in on itself. Not only that but the whole thing going out to the street was broken/breaking/not in good shape. I was relieved we actually found the issue but was pretty upset with the other company who basically swindled us out of 4 figures and damaged things further. I worked with Jesús and Chris and they were able to get me a quote later that afternoon. We were happy with how quick and professional and communicative these guys had been so we moved forward with them. The very next day, they started digging. Our entire front lawn was flipped upside down for access to the pipes. Jesús and team were kind enough to give us status updates throughout the day, including visuals of how bad the issues were (cannon sized root...) and gave us some tips along the way. After freaking out at 11PM on Thursday, having them inspect things Friday afternoon, the team wrapped up all work Saturday afternoon. This was not a small job AT ALL but they fixed it literally within a day, 24 hours. They pieced our lawn back together, showed the improvements and that was it. Payment was quick and easy and honestly, even though this whole experience sucked (not because of them obviously) they made things as easy to understand and fast as possible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chris keeps to his word and is super clear and communicative. Jesús is super cool, straight up and broke down progress from the start to the very end[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The entire team was super nice and even showed us what was going on while they were literally in the dirt. If anyone in the serviceable area has any kind of issue, I would recommend these guys 100%. Not only are they up front about everything but they actually care about their customers. The other company, after having broken everything and charged us $X,XXX only offered to refund us like $300 bucks.... My water bill came in this Monday and it was jacked up @$650. My Fiance and I was in disbelief and called San Jose Water. They confirmed that I had a huge leak under my 100 year old house from the mainline @ 15 gallons per hour. The worse news was that finding the leaks would be finding a needle in a haystack since my house also has an in law unit in the back which had its individual shut off from the main line. Then I was recommended Gilbert and his crew through a good friend. They came Wednesday to take a look and told me not to waste my money on trying to locate the leak. Instead, re-pipe the whole house and replace all the old galvanized pipes. I was reluctant because it sounded like a horribly complicated job. I started planning on staying at my parents because I THOUGHT I wouldn't have water for a few days. They came 9am On the dot as I was leaving for work. And Their welding was immaculate! On top of that, after digging up my whole front yard, they put everything back together as if they never even came. We have finally found a plumber worthy of recommending. Senor Rooter was extremely responsive and professional. We had our house repiped several years ago by an overpriced plumber who made a lot of mistakes. We have had plumbing issues ever since. This time it was our dual kitchen sink not draining. It has been an ongoing issue and no plumbers have offered a long term solution. Cris came out and identified one of the main problems from when the kitchen was remodeled 15+ years ago (something the other plumbers never pointed out). He was extremely knowledgeable and offered what should be a long term solution Alexis came and completed the work. He was also extremely professional and kind. One of my showers was spitting out boiling hot water late at night. I called several plumbing companies late at night asking if they had anyone available for an emergency appointment that same night and had no luck until I reached out Señor Rooter Plumbing. Senor Rooter was able to make an emergency call and showed up within the hour. They were able to give us a temporary fix and then returned early the next morning to solve the problem. I called Señor Rooter in a panic on a Saturday afternoon with a sewer backup. The gentleman confirmed I had a clean out and said he could come in an hour. Relieved, I stepped out to grab some lunch. While waiting for my tacos, I got a call - they were already there, 30 minutes early. They had already been working in the neighborhood. I gave directions to where to find the clean out and jumped in the car to head back home. By the time I got home, not more than 15 minutes later, they had already rapidly diagnosed the problem. They used a camera from my house clean out to go down the line and find the blockage was actually near the city-maintained section by the sidewalk. They had already set up their drain snake and we're using the city clean out to try and unplug the drain. They worked quickly and tried their best to unclog the line.
