Very efficient and reasonably priced. Had heels replaced on a favorite pair of boots and several straps replaced on a few pairs of sandals.

I wish I didn't trust the reviews. So disappointed with this place. When I walked in, there was a…read morewoman in front of me getting soles added, he negotiated with her. I step up and he makes a comment about how "you can afford it full price because these shoes are expensive" and refused to negotiate. Ok... it would be expensive to take them to the city cobbler so I just paid what he asked. Three pairs of Jimmy Choos and Manolo's needed a protective sole added. I'd worn each pair a few times, so one needed new heel tips, but they were in ok shape. The work is so sloppy. Glue all over the sides and front of the shoes. Where he cut the calf leather sole with a blade, leaving cuts in the remaining part of the shoe, gaps between the adhered rubber and leather, and peeling. I asked him to fix one of the Choo's before I left with glue. It's sloppy but at least not exposed! I feel sick for paying in advance. Huge mistake going here. Do not bring expensive shoes to them! Maybe if you have a rubber boot and don't care about quality but these are rare samples from the NYC headquarters. I'm so upset.

An honest and trustworthy owner. A true local family business. I encourage everyone who is in the area to use this service. So if she's thrilled, I'm thrilled.

My repaired shoes look as good as new, and the prices are, in my opinion, reasonable. ($25 to reheel a pair of my shoes, and they look great.) Izet even polished a pair of my shoes at no charge! The shop is very clean and neat, and it is obvious Izet takes great pride in his work. He's may seem gruff at first, but I found him to be a throwback to another era when business owners were very serious about their work and their customers. He was very straight with me about what needed to be done on the shoes I was asking him to fix, and he didn't sugarcoat what needed to be done to them to repair them properly. But he was always respectful, and I did not feel as though I was undervalued as a customer. Based on some of the other reviews in here, Izet has apparently repaired some very expensive shoes and bags for other customers, but he treated my department store shoes like they were just as important as something that had cost someone else several hundred dollars. The man obviously values all his customers. He requires payment upfront and the work usually takes about a week, depending on what you're asking him to do. Also, there's no parking because the shop is on Atlantic Street, so you'll have to cough up some money for a nearby parking garage or meter and walk over. But it's worth it. He does such a good job. I will take all my shoes to him with confidence whenever necessary.

Poor quality high heel repair with cheap tips poorly done. Couldn't fix one shoe. Didn't clean…read moreshoes when repairing which is standard. Charges way more than I've ever paid for tips and didn't get skid pads because they way overcharge for it. Just moved from Manhattan where there are 20 better cobblers at half the price and double the quality. Wanted a local cobbler but this one is horrible on all fronts.
