The maple croissant donut is Fa-Bu-Lous! This donut is crazy good, maple, maple, maple! (I love maple) Crunchy, yet soft and did I mention maple? The cookie sandwiches (this is my kind of cookie), two cookies with butter cream frosting filling. Beautiful and colorful macarons. Lots of flavor combos for all of their donuts, cookie sandwiches and macarons. The artistry of their baked goods is unparalleled. They have both sweet and savory treats. I have bought their items in town at various coffee shops and quite a few times in their store as gifts for friends and co-worker's. AND I keep sneaking back for more maple donuts. They fell a little short on a custom birthday cake order for my daughter. I reached out to them on Instagram, they asked me to email them. I emailed them within 15 minutes of the request and then crickets. Four days of crickets and then an email the day before the requested pick-up date to let me know the cake would be ready. So, not optimal, but it worked out. And the cake was excellent - most excellent. read more

We stopped in to get some sweet treats and were very pleased. We got the neopolotin cupcake, chocolate chip cookie, macaroon flavor lemon and cookie dough, and a strawberry doughnut. The doughnut was by far the best of the selection. It was flakey and the flavor was soooo good. The macroons were ok. They were very crumbly and not a lot of flavor. We love too sweet cakes. We go there at least every other week for a macaroon (or a dozen) and always order birthday or special event cakes through them. We actually first had their delicious macaroons at bite of bend back in 2018 and have been a devoted follower ever since! My littles are always asking to go get doughnuts and cupcakes from there as well. Definitely always recommending this place to friends! read more

The Instagram bio was kind of deceiving because I thought I was going to an 100% vegan and gf bakery. However there were only 2 vegan options. I bought the pop tart and vegan blueberry muffin. I think it is overpriced. If you're vegan and looking for sweets, I'd recommend shopping at Market of Choice or Wholes Food with a wide range of vegan sweets costing less than $4.5 per muffin.... read more

Short review: doughnuts were raw in the middle; inaccurate menus on meal delivery services. It took me multiple tries of ordering from Too Sweet Cakes via various delivery services just to actually get my entire order through. Evidently, they don't bother to keep their menu and stock up to date with those services--something that other businesses seem to manage just fine. In fact, if you look at their menu on GrubHub and Uber Eats, you'll see completely different menu items. Which ones are actually available? Who knows! You just to have to order and then have them remove the unavailable items to find out. When I finally managed to actually get an entire order delivered, the two GFV doughnuts were completely raw in the middle. Like, one bite past the outside, there was uncooked wet dough inside. Because these doughnuts aren't made with eggs or milk, the fact that they were undercooked isn't a food safety hazard, but it's still disgusting. Don't waste your time with this place. read more

I was looking for a vegan bakery to get a custom birthday cake for my sister and I'm so glad I found Two Sweet Cakes. I wanted to get a cake inspired by the mountains and Shelbi exceeded my expectations. She was easy to communicate with and knew exactly what I wanted. When I went to pick it up, I was amazed at how it turned out. I didn't want to eat it because it was so beautiful. It also tasted delicious! I got vegan peanut butter chocolate and it tasted very similar to a non-vegan cake. If you're looking for a delicious cake (vegan or not), I highly recommend getting your cake from here! read more

Our cake maker had to cancel last minute due to illness and these guys were able to make two cakes to feed about 50 people with just a few days' notice. It felt expensive, especially when I added some flowers, a different cake color, candles, and a second gluten free option. But when we bit into the cake, it was worth every penny! The cake was soft and the frosting just sweet enough. It was for my daughter's sweet 16 and she wanted everyone to have a slice, even the GF folks, but I ended up eating that cake as if was delicious! I took off a star because the candles we included were not given to my husband at pickup (I will be calling them about it) and the extra costs added up quickly. It is a bit pricy but worth it I think. Also, the cakes are huge and we had plenty for our party of 50! read more

We came in a couple weeks ago and our first impression was sadly a miss for us, but based on other reviews, it seems like we just came in on an off day. There wasn't much of a selection, we were hoping to get 3 cupcakes to celebrate a birthday but they didn't even have 3 cupcakes to offer. We ended up settling on one cupcake, scone, and a cookie for about $10. The scone was rock hard and inedible so we tossed it, both the cookie and cupcake were okay though but they were definitely a day old or possibly older. Overall just a bummer of an experience, especially after reading such good reviews. Since we aren't local we probably won't be back, but would advise people to maybe call ahead to get inventory and see if what you're looking for is available. read more

Serves food and also may have a food truck open. Our last visit we enjoyed the bowl of chili and Caesar salad was all A-OK. The staff was helpful even when busy. Interesting to note, it's like all the beer drinker mt bike folks that used to all come here years ago just happened to grow up and have kids at once, so now it definitely has a very kids playground scene, but I still think it's cool here. (Just go inside to avoid the mayhem. lol!) It's sweet that they create a fun environment outside there. A suggestion maybe would be create a small section outside. that's a no kid table for sunshine and drinking too. ;) it looks like they're making good use of their space. I noticed many changes since the last visit. Looks like they have a party room you could rent, lots of fun well designed swag for purchase, ect. Crux will be always be on my brewery list for Bend, I will perhaps just avoid peak weekend hours. Cheers!

UPP Liquids and is owned and run by an epic list of brewers and beer people that got their starts at other places nearby. In their first year open, they've already been making a name for themselves with beers winning medals and the brewery itself being chosen as one of the best in the USA. It's located in Bend, near the highway and many other restaurants and shops, perfect to add to a walk. It's the former spot of another brewery and has a similar feel with some changes. They have an event space with its own bar, and a pinball machine collection. They have bar, table, and outdoor seating too. The bartenders were funny and very welcoming. The beer is excellent and worth stopping for a few flights or pints. They also have an incredible deal for full pours on certain days. Prices super reasonable for the quality. Sourdough was so good to dip - mouth is watering writing this. Service th morning we were headed out at 7amish was great also - wife got coffee cake (warmed in their brick oven) and I got two citrus muffins and a sourdough cinnamon roll for later - all were scrumptious and delightful. I would got a half dozen muffins if I knew they were that good before. People were kind and the service is quick. We ate there these two time on $52 dollars - both to-go orders. Set in an old home, this establishment has become one of Bend's favorite restaurants. The menus have range with breakfast by far being my favorite. However, their pizzas are spectacular and I've never had a pastry yet that I didn't really enjoy. They serve coffee from a local roaster called Lone Pine. The staff is always extremely friendly and I have frequently positive interactions with them when I stop by. Prices are reasonable, and the food is very high-quality while also being consistently fresh. Parking can be a challenge at times, but it's always worth the effort. Not to mention a chance for a nice stroll around downtown Bend after my meal... just the perfect end to complement a perfect day here in this lovely place. Thank you Jackson's corner for being a staple in this community and consistently making every meal here a little bit more joyful.
