Don't go here. I was referred here by a regular customer and purchased an $80 six amp Dewalt battery. It worked one time. When i tried to use it a week later the battery would not work nor recharge. I returned to the store only to be shown the sign to the left of the register on the wall that says no refunds. They would not exchange the battery. They really upset me because they accused me of trying to exchange a bad battery and when i got mad they threatened me. I wouldnt leave cause i wanted my exchange and they called the cops. I am not done with them. I will make sure they are out of business. read more

I just purchased a DeWalt planer (DW734) from Tool Plug. The box was marked "like new" and it was, probably a return. It worked fine but was missing the manual (not a big deal) and the screw that secures the adjustment wheel. Tommy found replacements right away when I let him know. We visited this place on December 23rd while on vacation in Orange County. I had recently had some tools stolen of mine and was looking to rebuy. This store has a mix of used and new items, but I would say the majority of them were like new at least. They had Milwaukee, Ryobi, dewalt, and a sprinkling of other tool manufactures. They seemed to have a great selection of Milwaukee tools. I came specifically looking for a Milwaukee miter saw, table saw, and a Milwaukee air compressor. They did not have a table saw that I wanted, but Milwaukee table saws are hard to find. They did however have the miter saw and air compressor. Both were brand new. The miter saw had never been taken out of its box. They did open up both for me and inserted batteries to make sure everything worked correctly. They also have me a free Milwaukee shirt because of my large purchase. I was extremely happy with the customer service. The gentlemen that helped me were exceptional and answered every question I had. They then loaded it in my car for me and wished me a merry Christmas. I intend to make a trip back specifically to go to this place. read more

Got a couple great deals on an orbital sander and Brad nailer both about 40% off the orange store prices. They didn't have any orbital sanders on the show floor so he ran down the block to the warehouse and grabbed a couple and we tested them out and I'm a happy customer. I do recommend testing it before you buy it as it is "b" stock items and Tam was happy to let me test everything, even gave me a block of wood to use. If you love tools and love a bargain and also treasure hunting. This is your store. Keep in mind items rotate on their shelves and they tend to go with the seasons. Just got back from another fantastic buying trip at ToolPlug. Got my gardener hooked up with a fantastic Honda self propelled mower and an Echo blower. (Gotta keep my gardener happy!) Theiy currently have a great selection of mowers both gas and electric. So if you are in the market for a mower you should definitely head on down. They also seemed to have an abundance of pressure washers too. Their stock changes regularly, so it pays to stop by often. They have Dewalt and Ryobi handtools as well. You never know what treasure you might find. Tam and Tommy are the best. Friendly and knowledgeable. You might have to wait for service sometimes, when it's busy because it's just the 2 of them, but it's definitely worth it. read more

Very large selection of tools and it's awesome. Great pricing for everything. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable of what's in store. I purchased a Milwaukee M18 Fuel drill set and it was very reasonably priced in comparison to other sellers. I also purchased the Milwaukee Rapid Charger to go along with the standard charger to be able to charge both batteries it came with simultaneously when not in use. I currently own the M12 set as well and now have 3 ports for the set of batteries I have for that as well. Over all this is definitely now my favorite tool store. I live in Riverside and made the drive out to Garden Grove. Well worth it. Very satisfied. read more
