The staff is extremely friendly at this salon and you get a lot of bang for your buck, including a hot stone treatment and neck/shoulder massage with even a basic pedicure. My only complaints are the lack of newer polish colors and the poor coordination of regular polish colors and gel colors, making it difficult to find a matching set. read more

I went here yesterday after reading consistently good reviews. I am new to the area and was looking for a new place to get manicures and pedicures. Sadly, I left this salon pretty aggravated and dissatisfied. My first impression was a good one: the salon is clean and bright, the staff was welcoming, and the nail technician who was working with me introduced herself. They have a decent selection of polish colors although the OPI I was looking for was not to be found. I started with the pedicure and the tech was gentle with the filing and clipping. I have a callus on my big toe which she told me they do not file down or remove unless you pay the extra $15 (say what?!) for the callus remover treatment. Seemed pretty steep to me for her to put a lotion on my toe and let it sit for 5 minutes. I chose to forgo the callus treatment. The pedicure overall was relaxing...they do a quick massage with lotion and quick hot stone massage with the regular pedicure (no more than a couple minutes total...wish it were longer). The polish came out looking good. The manicure is where I started getting unhappy. The salon started getting busier the longer I was there, and it seemed the tech was rushing through the manicure so as to accommodate those waiting. I told her I wanted the nails square shaped and every single one is round. It seemed like she had a hard time with the actual polish, and must have repositioned my arm and hand a dozen times each so that she could apply the polish easier (she did this with the pedicure too). The polish seemed thick, which I mentioned, so she thinned it out a bit but begrudgingly. I noticed she was missing spots on my nails with the first coat and when I asked her to touch them up, she said she would get it with the second coat. Well, the polish ended up with a pretty dull finish, lots of bubbles, and the edges of my nails are totally uneven. I didn't think it was asking too much for a professional nail technician to paint straight strokes down each side of the nail but somehow she managed to make them jagged, so I assume they will be chipping very quickly. I know it's not the end of the world, but I have never gotten a manicure before that didn't come out looking shiny with clean edges. This one looks like I did it myself. When the manicure was complete, she took me over to the drying area. She gave me about a 30 second neck massage and took off without putting the quick dry oil on, removing the paper that was separating my toes, or rolling down my pants which I clearly can't do easily with wet nails.. The air pressure was so light that I ended up leaving after several minutes thinking I would do better holding them in front of my AC vents in my car. This is the kind of service I would expect at one of the places in center city where you can get a mani/pedi for $25. For $40, the messy nails and lacking service are just not worth it. I know it's possible I had a new technician or didn't receive the typical experience there, but the one that I did receive was enough for me to know I will not be back. read more

The service was amazing. The nail tech was really nice and she carried my things over to the dry station and gave me a massage. But that is the extent if my good review. The nail tech stationed next to me stared at my station the entire time and it made things very uncomfortable. A full set was $50 not including the design or anything else. The nail tech used a system I've never seen anywhere else. The nails looked thin and natural but 2 broke the wry next day. 2 weeks later all but 3 are cracked and broken. So much for $50. Even more. When I asked for a colorful design the nail tech pulled out 2 pinks and a purple saying people don't come in for many designs so that's all they had and I should bring my own. However the receptionist did make my experience better by walking me to my car with an umbrella since it was pouring outside. Great people and service but I wouldn't go back. read more

I came here for a pedi twice and a mani/pedi once. I came based off of reviews and it's close location to me. I was not at all let down, each time was a relaxing pleasant experience. The staff is extremely friendly and tries to get to know you to make you feel welcome on your next visit. The pedicures are on point, love their chair. The mini hot stone massage during the pedi is a perfect touch. I love that I found this place, they even have a frequent patron card where you get points with the dollars you spend and you can redeem for dollars to spend on future visits, gotta love saving and satisfaction. I had a nice, relaxing experience here. But (especially for the price) I was pretty disappointed with my manicure. The space was very clean and nicely decorated, and it was very calming. The spa pedicure was great, and definitely worth the money if you feel like being pampered. I LOVED the hot stone massage. However, the gel manicure I got after my pedi was pretty disappointing. They didn't have the first two colors I requested from their color wheel, my thumb nail chipped the very next day and, now, not even 2 weeks later, I have numerous chips and one nail has already peeled up. I've been getting Gelish manicures for the past 3-4 years, so I know this isn't common. I'm used to my manicures lasting until they just grow out and start to look funky. Overall, this was a nice, cute nail spa, and the experience itself was relaxing. I found top art nails from yelp. I was super pumped about the selection of nail polish and organization...there was just the right amount organized in a way that was not overwhelming. Next came the pedicure. I did the regular spa pedicure and was pleasantly surprised when a hot stone was pulled out to massage my already aching feet. To make it even better, my regular polish manicure lasted about 2 weeks with a few chips here and there; my pedicure only needed to be redone when my toe nails started growing. read more

Wish I could give a minus one star. After years of going to this place I am livid at the arrogance of the childish owner and God awful service I received. When will they get it that consumers no longer accept less than what we pay for, and all she has to do is look up the darned street and there's a nail salon at every block. Got there before 6. Asked if I had appt. Said no. Wait 20 mins. Fine. 7 PM I'm in the chair, water running , overflowed all over the place. I'm still soaking my feet ??? I asked for 1 nail tip. Young girl speaks in her language ...owner ( grossly unprofessional ) shakes her head. Asked what's probelm. "You said you want just manicure and pedicure, now you want tip. She's laughing like something is wrong with her, and I'm uncomfortable in fron tof all the other clients. Different staff asks my name. "Reason I ask your name is to tell you we close 7:30 so I can only change your toe polish, no pedicure . It's now 7:15 I'm being told this. The ignorant owner who has no sign saying "walk ins" not welcome repeats to me the 4th time. You should call for appointment. I ended up with the shittiest job you ever saw. A really amazing Saturday treat. Although their prices are a slightly expensive in comparison to other nail salons, you are definitely paying for the customer service! They take such great care of you, with the massages during the pedicure, I got my eyebrows done and she gave me a quick facial massage, it was amazing. They used collegen gloves which was different and she gave me a brief back massage which was nice however, you pay more for these extras. Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I went in bc I was on a time constraint and needed my nails done before work. I love that they open at 930am. However, the prices are really high. $65 for a full acrylic set french seemed a little steep. I can get that and a pedi and an eye brow wax at the places near me, but it's cherry hill so I expected it to be a little higher. I opted for just a gel polish mani. I got it on tues and it's only Sunday today and 3 nails are peeling. I get the gel bc it's supposed to last longer. I should've just painted my own nails with a regular polish and saved myself 40 bucks. I def won't be coming back here. read more

Just moving to Cherry Hill ,I happened to drive by and look at the salon from the outside it seem to NAIL ART salon on Haddonfield Rd., New Jersey!!! ( A few doors up from Hollywood tans and across the street from Nordstrom's rack). I entered inside to a bunch of women sitting at their tables eating food as they were doing nails, so not knowing nowhere else to go not being from the town or the state , I waited and I sat down on the right side or the second and third table and all the lady , I have longer nails and I told her just to trim a little in and fill the next thing you know she was cutting my nail length in half ..,,TELLING Me they are too LONG, I asked her what she was doing and she smirked and pretended not to speak English, but the 15-20 minutes I was waiting prior she was speaking English perfectly . I said what are you doing said you said you wanted them short so it I've had enough you should okay let me just file them down I didn't have much of a choice , I wasn't staying thought she was filing them down to fix the issue but when I going to get up she said $20 , I laughed ,and said excuse me $20 to cut down 3 nails I said you could be kidding this please , also I was getting sick and soon of nauseous from their food that smells like fish, and the excess food they just threw in the nail bins, so with my camera phone I took many pictures I posted them on social media Instagram and Twitter just to let people know don't always believe what you see from the outside these people are truly disrespectful and don't care about there customers... These guys barely deserve one star. I had called ahead for an apointment and was taken back right away. The owner was the one who did my nails and I had told her I wanted my old pink and white set off and a new set of tips put on. I then showed her a picture off of pinterest of what I wanted and after showing it to a couple people she finally agreed. $70 and two hours later, after an experience of employees staring at me and making me feel uncomfortable,I left with what I thought was actually a pretty decent set of nails and considered overlooking the snickering employees and then I got home. Not even an hour after I had left I had not 1, not 2, not even 3 but 6 nails break. I have had acrylics on for 5 years now and this has NEVER happened to me. Livid, I called first thing the next morning and explained to them what happened and they told me to come right over. As soon as I walked in the owner brought me over to her station and once again brought a parade of people over to stare at my nails. I told her that this time, I just wanted pink and white and frankly I just wanted to get out of there. Yet another two hours later, I had no pink and white but a made up version invovlving painting white gel polish on top of my pink powder. When i mentioned to her that I had wanted pink and white from the beggining, she said it was "too late" to do pink and white and that she would have to start all over. Just wanting to leave the salon at this point, I told her i wanted a solid gel color, one i had seen out of the corner of my eye. She not only didnt offer me the color I wanted but gave me choices of about ten colors all of which were dull and ugly. I ended up picking the first "pink" color i saw and rushed out of there. She (being the owner of the salon) told me next time not to come back for my nails but that I was welcome to come for a pedicure any time. I have never had such a terrible experience in a salon and if this post saves just one of you from having to go through what I did then my time spent writting this was worth it. read more

Started as a regular pedicure but after the leg massage the woman busted out hot stones!! Never had a hot stone massage before and was about to say something cuz I thought she accidentally upgraded my pedicure or something but it felt sooooo amazing so I said screw it, I'll pay the extra $. Went to the register to pay expecting a $50+ charge, nope, $20!?! That's the regular pedicure, hot stone massage come standard!!! Been telling everyone, best salon by far, along w the ah-mazing massage the pedicure is over a month old and still looks good, no smears, no chipped paint. I went in for a pedi and was pleasantly surprised at how extensive it was, especially the massage. It was a weeknight evening and they weren't super busy. I had a usual pedicure, they used hot stones, scrub, oil, lotion and lots of rubbing. The actual primping and cleaning of the toe and foot area was well done, pain free and looked pretty. Massage chairs worked great and a bonus was there were actually magazines next to the pedi stations, which I think is a nice touch since I always forget to grab one. Color selection was pretty good too. After the pedicure I was taken to a little drying station and given a mini back and neck massage. It was fantastic. My toenail did chip within three days, but I walk in boots a lot and I am just convinced at this point that after five different pedicure places I am doomed to have chipped toenails in winter. I don't live near Kay, but if I was visiting Cherry Hill I will certainly revisit them. read more

Wow! So disappointed with my experience today. This was my second time coming here for a pedicure and the first time I went I absolutely loved it but today was a whole different experience. I called ahead so I was taken as soon as I walked in the door. Everything started out fine, but it just kept getting worse and worse. First the technician criticized my toe nails saying they were too short and I shouldn't have cut them myself. Then when she started trimming my cuticles she cut me about 4 times to the point where I was bleeding. AFTER she cut me she used nail polish remover to get the little bit of polish I had on still and it stung like hell. I would assume you would do that in reverse? She massaged my feet and legs which was nice but then she used a hot towel which was WAY too hot. I jerked my legs back and told her it was burning me and she glared at me. Not even an apology. I felt like she wasn't even paying any attention to what she was doing half the time. Anyway, she finished up and walked me over to dry my toes. When I went to pay with my credit card they were having issues with their card machine so I waited about ten minutes for the lady to figure it out. She was giving me attitude for not having cash. She figured it out and I ran out if there as soon as I could. When I got home I noticed that there was polish all over the skin around my toes (I hadn't seen it when I was there because of the light and sheer color of the polish) and blood on my cuticles from where she cut me. I didn't even bother to call and complain because I never want to go back there again. It's really a shame because like I said my first experience was wonderful. I think I just got a bad technician this time but I won't be chancing it again with another visit. read more

I had a great experience, the massage techniques are great. And, four days later, my nail polish is still smooth and shiny, not chipped, like the day I got it. I went to Top Art for my first time this past weekend due to high reviews on Yelp. The prices are higher then other nail salons around me but I am willing to pay higher prices if the service is worth it. The salon was clean and the technician spent a fair amount of time with me on the gel manicure. Today, I have had two nails chip. My manicure was Saturday... it is Monday. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. This place is TERRIBLE! My friend and I went to get our nails done last night. I got a gel manicure and my friend got her old acrylic set off and a new one put on. The girl who did my gel was extremely pleasant, and that was the only enjoyable part of this 2 and a half hour experience. My gel manicure is already chipping because she did not apply it correctly. The owner did my friends nails and was extremely annoyed that she was asked to do two party nails. (My friend wanted gold glitter on a couple of nails to break up her black polish) Some of the other technicians would walk over and point and laugh at my friend for wanting this. 2 hours after we left the salon 6 of my friends acrylics broke off. When she returned in the morning to have them fixed the wont said that she should have been more careful with the nails. She finally agreed to fix them but refused to make them a pink and white set. She wouldn't even let my friend pick out the color of polish she wanted! And didn't even bother getting all the black off of her nails before she painted them an awful salmon color. The owner offered no apology or incentive to EVER return. And to top it off--my friend had to go to another salon right after she left this one to fix what they messed up. This nail salon is very very nice! I chose it based on reviews I read here. I went for a mani/pedi ($37) at about 2 pm on a Monday, so no one else was there. I must say that the foot and leg massage were AMAZING! The technician really took her time to work in the oil and then BAM! Out came that hot stone that everyone has written about. That part of the pedicure was great. However, I wasn't blown away by the actual care of my toenails. The filing, cuticle trimming and actual paint job were sloppy, and the tech wasn't even rushing. Also, she didn't spend much time at all with the pumice stone on my heels, as they were still rough within 30 min after the pedi. That being said, the massage was worth it. Next time I will just pay closer attention during the pedi to give directions instead of drifting off to sleep lol! The manicure on the other hand was done very well. I got just a regular one, and it lasted for about 5 or 6 days without chipping. I've been in S Jersey for about 3 years now and have been struggling to find a good mani/pedi spot (I've actually driven the hour back up North to my old regular spot). I have been going to Top Art Nail for over a year and always look forward to my appointments. All the ladies are super friendly and great at what they do (and that with a smile on their faces) The salon is very clean and quiet even though they get pretty busy. I highly recommend YOUNG for her attention to detail and putting up with a picky person like me :) She is super sweet and a very qualified technician. THERA is my technician for waxing and she is quick and thorough and makes the experience as painless as it can be. I really appreciate it that these ladies take their time and care enough to double check everything to make sure you get the best service possible. I have also come here with friends and they were equally happy with their services. After lots of trial and error and many bad nail salons I have finally found one that I leave happy and relaxed every time. I have tried most nail salons in the Cherry Hill and Haddonfield areas and this is by far the best! I had originally found them thorough Yelp and I am so very glad I trusted all the positive reviews. I used to go to Top Art all the time. Once every 2-3 weeks for a gel manicure. A FULL gel manicure. Well, 4 days ago I got a manicure at a different salon (25$) and it was chipping on my thumb and ring finger, so I decided to go back to Top Art... Now, I already have a full set mind you... All I wanted was a gel color over my already just filled nails. So how much could a gel polish on top of my already manicured nails really cost? (Also I got a "design" on both ring fingers. Which used way less polish than any of the other fingers had used. So, I ask how much it'll be and am told 45$ for a gel manicure. I should probably say I explained when I walked in that I just got these done 3 days ago and just wanted a different gel polish. So, I'm sitting there thinking how could this possibly be right? All they did was shave off my other gel polish and paint my nails which did not need to be cut down or shaped. Still 45$. (Plus a 20% tip because I always tip more than fairly). I paid the 45 ( gave 10$ tip instead of the 9.00 that consists of a 20% tip on the 45$). Later, I'm finding myself bothered that I paid that much to basically have my nails repainted (color change) and put in a UV light. I am fully capable of doing exactly what was done myself, and I should have. Now, I'm not trying to be negative here, but I've been getting my nails done for over 12 years and the other salons I go to wouldn't have even charged me 15-20 to REPAINT my manicure. I should have known I would get charged a lot because I always have there but before I was getting the UV gel nails and I accepted that they were more expensive. I feel I basically got taken advantage of in this situation. But, I really like the atmosphere and they are very professional and nice. Especially Lucy, she always did my nails before but wasn't in yesterday. The reason I am taking time to write this is so that anyone who is just going in for a color change be prepared to pay TOP dollar for it. I could possibly go back in the future, but more than likely, I won't. Which is a shame to me because I do really enjoy it there and they do great nails. But paying 55$ total for my nails to be repainted is just nuts to me. I'll stick with what's close to me, or maybe I just need to speak up when I'm confused why I'm being charged (which I did and was told that the design is extra and gel manicure is just 45$) what I feel is a crazy amount for the work being done. Their price rating is only 2 stars on yelp (bring that up to 4 stars maybe) so I thought hey, couldn't be that bad just to have a polish change. 55$ later I'm sitting here upset mostly with myself that I paid that much. They look nice, but I could have went anywhere else and gotten the same for under 20$. For 55 dollars I expect my nails to be nothing less than perfect. Indeed, they are not perfect by any means. Once again, not trying to be negative here this is based on cost, not the people working there or how they are because they are all super nice and friendly. Just maybe it's time to rethink charging someone that much for a gel polish change which anywhere else is $15.00. They do a great job but don't go in if you just want your polish changed :-) read more
