I came here very last minute after my usual hair salon was fully booked, and I'm so glad I found this place across the street. Maei was incredibly accommodating with a same-day appointment and was very friendly from the start. She really listened to what I wanted and styled my hair to contour my face shape, exactly as I asked. I also told her to cut off as much as she felt was necessary to remove the damaged ends. My hair did end up shorter than I originally planned, but honestly, I still love it. The cut looks healthy and flattering. The salon itself is very spacious and clean, which made the experience comfortable. The only downside was that I did feel a bit overwhelmed by how many additional services and products were being offered (i.e. keratin treatments, hair products, nail appointments, eyebrow tattoo services, etc) it felt like a lot at once. That said, I truly respect her hustle and grit as a small, mom-and-pop business owner, and it didn't bother me too much. I always want to support local businesses but a little too much as a first time customer. I ended up purchasing shampoo and conditioner, and I even asked my husband to come in for a haircut $15 for a men's cut and only $25 for a women's haircut, which is such a great deal. I paid an extra $10 for a wash, which was totally reasonable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back. read more

I went to Top Cut specifically to have my hair cut by Connie upon a recommendation by a friend who has been going to her for over 20 years. I was amazed at her professionalism and skills at cutting my hair. She was careful and communicated with me continuously about how I wanted my hair cut. She took a full hour to complete the cut. She is friendly and respectful. She gladly accommodated my request for both of us to wear masks and put my appointment at the end of the day (when there were no customers around) to prevent any exposures to COVID.
