We used Top Fleet for our December 30th wedding. The process was very seamless and prices were fair. We had multiple stops and two drivers. Both drivers arrived early, were friendly, and had great instruction on exactly what to do. The driver on the return trips at the end of the wedding even made an extra trip for us because we had too many guests stay until the very end of the wedding. Top Fleet called two days after the wedding to check on their customer service. We were definitely impressed and would recommend them to anyone! read more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! We were referred this company through a business who uses them, and it was the Absolute Worst Experience EVER! I am not sure if it is the company or the person we used to make our reservations through, which is Ryan. We scheduled for 2 events, and both were messed up. We went to a Blackhawks game and the limo came 2 hours early to pick us up (not the drivers fault, we felt bad for him!) then when I called to check on the reservation and see what was up, they had us down for 2 cars AND charged the card that the deposit was on after stating that we could pay cash for the remainder. Then, when we got it straightened out, we confirmed pickup time. The limo didn't show up to pick us up, we were calling Ryan, the only contact we had, for an hour! He never gave driver information to us, and the poor driver was at the wrong location to pickup! So the second time around, he assured we would have all driver information and it would be better. This was for a bacherlorette party. Again, they showed up early and said that we had scheduled from 1p-6pm. I forwarded him on the email showing the 8:30 pick up time and him confirming. He claimed somehow we had changed the time, although he has no record or email of that, and because it was prom, he couldn't accommodate us. Because of this, during a party I planned, instead of enjoying myself, I was calling limo companies for an hour to find a way to the bar that we had prepaid for. Both experiences were awful! If you do try to use this company, which I would NEVER recommend, make sure you do NOT SCHEDULE WITH RYAN! Both times he messed up times and locations, and even turned off his phone when we were trying to figure out a solution while at the bachelorette party. The company who referred us will no longer be using them either, as the last few times their drivers have been late. Maybe new management or something, but worst experience ever! read more

Top Fleet is Awesome! This was my first experience using TopFleet or any Limo service for myself. They were better than five stars! Because I have trouble walking I bought a parking ticket for the handicapped parking lot at the United Center. The first driver was able to get me into the lot and drop me off right at the entrance. I was worried about the second driver who was picking me up but I talked to the parking lot attendant and all he wanted was my name and he told me to tell that to the driver who was picking me up and they would let him in. I get a text message from this fantastic person named Tony who was picking me up. I told him to tell the attendant my name and they would let him in. Tony was great. He kept in contact with me via text messages until we met in the parking lot. If or when I need a limo service again, I would only go with TopFleet! They were great!! Very organized!! AWFUL! This is the only limo service I've ever had a problem with. I booked them for a bachelorette party for a ridiculous price because all others were booked due to Prom. 24 hours before, I attempted to get out of my contract, only to be told that cancellations need to be 48 hours in advance. I ended up keeping the service, which was to arrive at 11:30pm. At 10:00pm that night, they called and said the limo "broke down" and there were no others that were able to come. I asked them for photos of the broken-down vehicle to ensure they didn't overbook for Prom and was refused. I was told to contact the owner, Ryan, who never got back to me. Just finished working with Top Fleet as the transportation provider for my wedding. Long story short is, the actual buses and transportation were great, but the business feels like it's run out of a garage at times with them playing pretty fast and loose with the numbers and the services provided. Dealing with problems with payment, billing, contracts, rates, and running up charges on my credit card without telling me (all during a wedding weekend when this is the last stuff you want to worry about) made it not worth working with them in the end. We booked them for 7 buses total giving them pretty substantial business. They gave me a great price up front and were very accommodating on the phone. Then the little charges started to come. First, they sent me some contracts initially, but then as we made changes, no changes to the contracts were made despite my asking for a new version whenever I called. Second, after they had told me that the bus could make 1-2 local stops without a problem, they told me two days before the wedding that the stops I had included meant I'd have to pay an extra $280. This was right before my wedding, I negotiated it down to $150, but still, not great. The final straw though was that the day after the wedding, the luxury bus we took to the venue and the buses that were taking guests home ran late. I knew this was going to be an extra charge (just like we had extra charges with the photographers for staying late or other last minute additions with vendors), but instead of sending me any details about how they arrived at a figure, I woke up the morning after my wedding to $175 in extra fees for the luxury bus (for running over by 30 minutes) and an extra $300 for the coach buses taking friends home. The $300 charge was the most annoying because after I complained that they had charged my credit card for the luxury bus without telling me what the charge was for or providing any documentation for the charge, Dan called me and told me that the coach buses were also late and there would be extra charges for those as well. I said, I'm on my way to my wedding brunch, send me the details, let me check with my guests to make sure the details are accurate, and I'll call you back to figure out payment. He said fine. Then what happens? Seconds later, $300 appears on my credit card. This is the equivalent of Dan telling me I owe him $300 and walking into my bank to take out cash from my account. I never signed authorization for him to do that, I never told him to use that credit card, he took it upon himself to just choose for me. Every time I complained, they assured me I was getting a fair price, but they basically just decided on a number they thought was "fair" and then rang up my card without even checking with me. And this was all the morning after my wedding when I asked them for a few hours to check it out or during my honeymoon. It left a bad taste in my mouth. To compare, our photographer stayed a half hour over, but checked with me first before doing so telling me the rate in advance, and then we discussed over email the next day how to pay him. He sent me a bill, we paid it, all worked out fine. This was the process that should have happened with the buses. Instead, Top Fleet plays fast and loose with credit charge authorizations and just uses your credit card like their personal ATM machine. Bottom line, they'll get the job done, but if you don't want to deal with the stress of making sure they aren't just ringing up charges on your card or dealing with these nit picky fees and negotiations, I'd recommend using someone else. read more

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! We used this comapny to go to Hawks game. We reserved a strech limo to take us to the game and pick us up. The way up was as pomised. After game we went out to find our strech we paid for a was not there. We called Ryan and he said he did not have strech available that he was going to put in suv. I told him it was B.S. and unacceptable. He than told me he didn't need my attitude and cancelled our way home. Customer service is terrible. Ryan is a liar and didn't follow through. It is highly recommended that "Top Fleet" improve the vetting/validation process for employing its drivers to ensure safe and pleasant travel for their customers. My friend and I had the unnerving and absolute unpleasant experience of using Top Fleet for a trip to O'Hare, which began with the driver nearly pulling out of our residential complex directly into oncoming traffic, then decided to drive on the wrong side of the road parallel to moving traffic until he could merge, as my friend and I had to help guide the driver into traffic safely. The driver did not have his GPS set before the trip, and was distracted attempting to type the O'Hare address while we were still moving. The driver then proceeded to miss not one, but two, exits toward the airport adding an additional 20-30 minutes to our trip time. To top it off, I had suspicion that the driver did not have his headlights on due to a lack of reflection in the bumper(s) of the car(s) in front of us...then I noticed him visibly flip the headlights on 20 minutes into our trip. As suspected, he had been driving for 20 minutes in the dark on the interstate without headlights! After I asked the individual if he was "okay to drive" and asked if he was under the influence, he told me to "Shut up," under his breath, but did not think I could hear him. The driver was clearly unprofessional, lacked emotional self-regulation and was not fit to drive commercially or in general. Myself nor my friend will never use "Top Fleet" again in the name of basic public safety. Unfortunately, I will not recommend this car service to anyone, family, friend, business colleagues, enemies or otherwise in the future. I suggest Top Fleet re-confirm the safety, capability and general mental health of its driver(s) before working with the public. I chose the service based on the Yelp-rating, however, clearly the ratings are deceiving. read more

We rented a Top Fleet bus this past weekend for a bachelor party and everything went off without a hitch. The bus was slightly late due to special event traffic but we had a flexible schedule and the driver was apologetic and we certainly got our full time allotment. We brought disposable coolers and the driver happily suggested a Jewel grocery stop half way for more beer and ice. The bus was clean and fully decked out for the party. Easy music hookup, and lights and obligatory stripper pole right in the center. We cruised all around to a distillery and then arolund town. This was my first visit to Chicago and I had no clue how to best get to my hotel from the airport. I found Top Fleet on Yelp and contacted them last minute and was soooo pleased. The driver (Riad) was amazing, he was professional and was gracious enough to share some details about Chicago while making it through Chicago traffic which made the time fly by. I used Top Fleet's services the first time this past winter. I needed a party bus to take about 20 people from downtown to a bar in schaumburg (round trip) for a fundraiser. I booked the reservation only a couple days before the fundraiser. Ryan was super helpful and very professional! The bus was there on time and the driver waited for our group outside of the fundraiser until it was time to take us back downtown. The party bus was incredible! WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Limo was early, so I thought the night was off to a great start, but not so. The driver got out and he was unkempt, greasy shoulder length hair, wrinkled suit, tie undone just hanging around his neck, not very professional looking. But the topper was, when we got in the limo that the air conditioning was broken!!! It was 81 degrees out and we had over an hour drive to Tinley Park, we drove 80 MPH on the highway with the windows partially open. My hair beating against my face the whole way there. The back of my blouse was soaked with sweat by the time we arrived and was sticking to the leather seats, my make up was melting off my face. BUT we did arrive on time, so I decided to forget it and just enjoy the rest of my evening. The driver informed us that there would be another driver picking us up. We were so happy to just get out of this limo that we failed to ask him how we would find them or them us. We decided to leave the concert during the encore so we could beat the crowd and find our limo. When we walked out into the parking lot, there were limos as far as the eye could see, it was then that we realized there was going to be a problem. Thankfully I brought the phone number to Top Fleet with me.The dispatcher said they notified us by an email to our phone, but there was no email on my husband's phone. He said the limo was there, but that it couldn't come onto the lot, which was a partial truth. I talked to a traffic control officer who told us that they do let them on site, as long as they are there before 9:30, but they charge $50.00 to wait and obviously our limo service did not want to pay the fee. WHAT WOULD THEY HAVE DONE IF WE DID NOT CALL THEM, WOULD THEY HAVE LEFT US STRANDED? He said he would call the driver and have him call us with his location. We waited about 15 minutes with no call, and called Top Fleet again. We told him that the driver did not call us and asked him to tell us where he was so we could go to him. So he again said he would have the driver call us. Again, no one called. We called back a third time!, and were finally told the location of the limo outside of the venue and started walking. He said the driver's name was Vince. I started walking past all the cars and limos parked along the road, yelling the name Vince. You would think he would get out of the limo and maybe look for a couple that were looking for him, but no. I walked right past his window and asked him ARE YOU VINCE? and he looked at me surprised!, As if he was wondering how I knew his name. I told him well, I'm your passenger. He still made no attempt to get out of his limo and I opened the door myself and got in. The driver was not even apologetic about the miscommunication and unaware of what we were just put through in order to find him. At least this limo had air conditioning! He told us to help ourselves to some water, but the was no ice and they were warm. Apparently, my expectations of what a limo driver is supposed to do are old- fashioned. read more

Thought I finally found a reputable limo company, but no. I was lied to again. I rented what I was told was a 40 passenger limo bus and it actually only seats 24 adults. You would expect it to only seat about 35 or so since they always over state the amount of people it can hold but not 24. There was not enough room for everyone to sit. The driver was supposed to call or text me on the return trip to let me know he was there and which street he was parked on in Chicago. He didn't. I called the owner and he said he would call the driver and get back to me. He didn't and did not answer the phone when I tried to call back. That's terrible customer service. Call your customers and let them know you are there to pick them up. Especially when they have a large group. I am very unhappy with my experience and won't be booking another trip with this company. read more
