They charged a reasonable fee for their service. I was totally satisfied and impressed. They all represent old fashion local customer service and professionalism that is very uncommon today. I called AAA appliance repair to come take a look at a refrigerator that wasn't getting to temp in…read morethe freezer. When I called they were not interested in the model # of the fridge and said they would send a tech the following day. I was met with a rude tech who came to my house, opened the freezer a few times & said he thinks it's the control board. At no point did the tech pull the fridge out of its cubby, at no point did the tech inspect the fan or wire harness for the freezer, at no point did the tech even look at the control board which he claimed needed replacing, all he did was open my freezer & confirm what I already knew (that it wasn't getting cold) he said he would see if the control board was still available/discontinued & would follow up. They called this morning to let me know the part was no longer available & nothing could be done. I paid $100+ for absolutely nothing, AAA appliance should have taken my model number over the phone when I had first called for service and tried providing it, had they done this they could have come to the same conclusion (parts not available) without scheduling a tech. Beware consumers, this companies schtick is making money off of "diagnostic inspections" which in my instance should've been avoided as it was completely unnecessary due to unavailability of parts.
