Spread The Word!!! I live in Lewisville and drive all the way to TOP TEN NAILS. Why? Super friendly technicians, great competitive prices, and a beautiful atmosphere. Bright and clean. Such a consistent nail salon! They nail techs are so nice, and are very kind. They want to provide the best service to you! They did just up there price again for a mani pedi, and it is now on the more expensive side, where as it used to be an affordable mani pedi. This part stinks, because I will be able to come less frequently. But over all I have been coming here for 7+ years! read more

Just returned from a pedicure and next gen here and don't think I will be back. Pros: beautiful decor/ambiance....that's it Cons: they rushed. I paid for a pedicure and I think she spent all of 5 minutes rubbing my feet. To make things worse the nail painting job she did was not good. Picture attached. I do not believe they are using all of the sanitary things needed here either as there are no plastic covers on the bowels and I didn't see anyone scrubbing the bowels out after. They did not offer me or my daughter drinks. They just started working on my feet and didn't offer a pedicure menu- I usually got for one of the top ones so that is their loss. At the end they give you a little piece of paper with your total but ask you for cash for the tip which I really don't like. All in all there are way better nail salons up and down Preston. Save your time and visit one of those. read more

This is an update, I wished I could give them less than one star. I had my nails done at this location 2 weeks ago. I wrote a review that how terrible my nails were. Now after 2 weeks all my nail are broken off and lifted off my nail!!!! Do not waist your money and don't let this salon ruin your nail!!! read more

Zero stars if possible. I have 10 fingers and 8 are on fire after being all being cut. None of my nails are the same length, asked if it was good and I laughed. She did another round of power- made them worse. Terrible experience. Will not be back. read more

Today (11/03/18) I'm here for a mani/pedi. I've been coming here for years and the place is simply wonderful. Amy is kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The other ladies are a delight. I highly recommend this salon. I have been to countless nail salons around the Frisco, Plano, Carrollton area NONE...I repeat NONE of them compare to Top Ten Nails. Get what you pay for. It's a cheap pedicure. The clipping, filing, and polish was good. BUT they don't use liners, have sanitized tools, and when they "clean" the basins they spray it and rinse it. No scrubbing. Will not be back. read more

I have been using Top Ten Nails for a little over a year now. I regularly recommend the salon when I'm asked who does my nails. All sanitation requirements are met, both with my pedicures and nails. Kevin does my nails and his work is the best, bar none! Ann, his sister, does my pedicures. She has the kindest soul and I truly look forward to the pampering under her skilled hands! I spent some time looking for a soft pink color. I wanted like a ballerina slipper. I thought I picked it. A30. The woman, Gina, was amazing but then a man came in that apparently was a regular and I had no issues changing woman. The new woman was super nice and listened to what I wanted. Then the color came in to play and I discussed it wasn't the color I wanted but she said it wasn't done yet. Well when it was it was nothing like I wanted. NOTHING! The owner was sitting next to us and so I asked her to pull up the sample I choose from to show him and compare. It was a HUGE difference. He simply shrugged and said "they fade during time". These wouldn't fade in the sun for YEARS sitting directly in the sun like the difference this was. He was a pampas a#$. Even his niece who works the front desk agreed. He made her redo the color on the example right then so I couldn't argue it. Sad the service is so great yet the owner is SO HORRIBLE!!! Too many nail places to be like that. read more

Moved to the area and needed a new nail salon...(we have all been there)I walked in and immediately was sat for the best pedicure to die for. Felt amazing! She was so sweet and made felt so comfortable and the owner Kevin did my nails. He is a work of art! Everyone is extremely nice and has incredible talented. Didn't speak a word for me. Chose my colors, then proceeded to paint them all different colors. Wiped it off (while I'm being nice) I asked for black & hot pink. I got grandma pearl & black. No communication, waste of money, do NOT come here. Didn't even care that she was throwing my hands around so much there were literal fingerprints in my nail polish. My cuticles weren't removed and still painted black. Don't waste your time. I thought I'd been to bad nail places before but my nephew could do better. read more

I came into this salon after work for the first time this past Friday. I was greeted within seconds of walking in and seated right after I picked my polish. ** I would like to note that I just moved here from Florida and normally nail techs have never engaged with me so I brought headphones and spoke to a friend majority of my time here. Nam gave me a gel manicure and Ann gave me my pedicure. Both women did an amazing job!! I felt so rude having been on the phone because they showed genuine care the entire time they did my nails. Ann was consistently asking if I was comfortable or if she needed to alter her massage technique. Nam fixed two of my chipped nails without getting rid of my length even though I gave no direction to. Honestly could not have exceeded my expectations any more than they did. Ann, what a gem she is. She waited with me while my toes dried and told me how much she loved taking care of people and how the salon has been here for 24 years. She asked me where I was from and gave me her card. You best believe that next month I'm making an appointment here with these ladies!! read more

This was my first visit to this salon. I had a Dip Mani and a spa Pedi. The mani tech's drill was so fast and hard, she was literally hurting my nail bed and made me bleed around my cuticles. I told her twice about it and she just said, "sorry, I am going slow". I came in with a long coffin shape. She asked if I wanted them shortened. I told her just a little. She clipped my length down by half. She missed areas of my nails with the dip bond, so I have spaces on my nails with no dip at all. She proceeded to shape my nails into a soft, thick square. The pedicure felt nice but looks terrible. I have nail polish all over the skin around my toe nails and she put my flip flops on while they weren't completely dry so there is a huge fold on my big toe nail. I couldn't wait to get out of there and I will NOT be back. read more

I came a few blocks east to Top Ten after being under-appreciated by my previous salon (I had been going there for over 10 years!). Not all of the employees but some were starting to get lazy. I go to a salon to be pampered and to relax. But I also what my nails and cuticles to be takes awareoI got Amy the first time and LOVED how she did my feet and massages me also. Nam did my hands and they were fine but gel. So the next time, I still got Amy but I wanted to try the dip and they gave me another girl because Nam was busy. The girl who did them still did a great job though. Now this is the only place I will go! Have a standing appointment every couple of weeks!!! Amy & Nam are my girls!!! read more

I LOVE this salon! Besides the great work they do, it is a very warm, caring atmosphere. It is family owned and operated and this shows in the way they take care of their customers. I've been going to Ann for ages (18 years?) for pedis and she is the best! However, I took my mom with me and she loved the person who did her pedi - she has an ingrown toenail and is very particular about her pedis. They did a fabulous job and mom gave them 2 thumbs up They are very accommodating and do super work! read more

I just got a regular mani with my sister, they were very nice and helpful (plus it was only $11). Everything was very clean and relaxing, it wasn't as fancy as Venice Nails(across the street) - but they are somewhat snooty and more expensive. I will definitely be returning, it also doesn't hurt that they are right next to one of my favorite bars in the area - The Staggering Irishman! :)) read more

Amy is amazing! She is so attentive and sweet. Her attention to detail is refreshing, since I myself, am detail oriented. I have a lot of anxiety about going to get my nails done because i bite them down to the nub. but they never make me feel self conscious and always do a great job cleaning up the edges and making sure they did a good job. I came in to get an eyebrow wax. I had been here a few times before on my lunch break, just for wax. The lady who was taking care of me asked me if I also wanted mani and pedi, which in every salon they always try to upsell you, so I just politely said no. The lady took me to the back and did my eyebrows and she asked me if I wanted upper lip too. I agreed, then she said I needed to do lower lip, which I know I don't need because I am not very hairy and I have been waxing forever and nobody ever tried to sell me lower lip. I said no, thanks. She said, you needed, it needs to match, it's only $4 more dollars, blah blah blah. I wanted her to just be done and I wanted to leave, I felt pressured to say yes because she kept insisting. She proceeded to put wax in my whole face!!!!!!! I was seriously pissed, and asked her what she was doing, I said that I know good and well I don't need my whole face waxed and she just kept saying she was going to give me a deal for $30, it's only $4 more dollars that you were already going to pay so you may as well. She told me this in secret because she didn't want other people to hear "what a deal she was giving me". I was so freaking upset. I had wax in my whole face and neck. I know I didn't need it, I only came in for eyebrows and I can't believe she did that. I came back to work with my entire face greasy and irritated. I think that one thing is to politely ask if you want other services, and another is to pressure people and do whatever the hell you want in the end. Absolutely a horrible experience and I will never go back. It's a shame because the owners are so nice and friendly and the salon is very clean, but having employees that just push you to do things you don't want will absolutely keep me away forever. read more

Finding the right nail place for me has always been tough so when I moved from downtown Dallas to North Dallas I decided to try my mom's nail place since she has been going there for over 10 years. I am so happy that I did! Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. They are some of the hardest working people I have ever met. They care about their customers. Truly. Since the first time I went to Top Ten Nails I have had Vanna who does my pedicures and Gels for my hands. Nothing but wonderful things to say. I feel my nails are in the best of hands. My technicians worked diligently and communicated mostly through hand gestures. I was okay with this since I really wanted to lie back and relax. My manicurist was amazing. Maybe because I came in at the end of the day , and the staff was tired. My pedicure girl was nice, and did a good job. My nail girl was not friendly, and only spoke Vietnam's with her friend. I asked for an extra 10 minute massage on my legs, and neck. During that massage they just spoke to other staff members. I asked my girl to focus on my neck, and it was unheard. I finally said I was done before the timer stopped. When you pay $200 for nails & toes, and extra for massages, you should get what you asked for. Not a woman speaking with friends, and other staff in Vietnamese, and not focusing on her massage. Nails were definitely not up to par!

My technician, Tia, started my appointment right on time. She was quiet but checked in with me to make sure she understood what I wanted. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. Yet I was ok. I was trusting them and the process. I made my next 2 appts at that time. The second visit took just as long if not longer. I had plans but was not able to keep them as they were because the appt took so long. I never got the chance to go to the third appt which I made two months prior and had planned right before a vacation. They sent a text the day before asking if it was ok to move my appt to a new tine. I declined because again I had plans for that day. They then sent multiple confusing texts asking me to change my appt time which I didn't understand when they originally asked and I declined. They finally called and confirmed my original appt. They then sent a text on the day of my appt two hours before to say the tech had the flu and they would have to reschedule me and gave me 5 or so random appt choices during the morning hours as if I don't work. So very unprofessional. If you value your time do not waste it on this establishment. I overlooked the contract, the high prices and the long timeframe for the service but I will not compromise on how I am treated. I will never go back and I encourage you to not waste your time or money with this establishment either. Value yourself, your time and your money!

I went this place a few times but they were all too pushy for up selling the service. They only reason I went there is close to my home. I went there thinking for basic mani and pedi and walked paying double for not so great service they sold that I wasn't sure of. I rather drive 3 miles to go to one has great service who doesn't rip me off on overselling service for not so great service. I don't recommend this place if you are looking for a great service and relaxation if you expect the service what you pay for. Thumbs down. read more

Horrible horrible place! One star is too many stars, but it wouldn't allow me to put 0 stars. This is my second time here and both times I asked for just a gel polish change and both times they began a full manicure, cutting me at my cuticle (both times! It's so painful!). I was told that they charge $15 for the gel polish change and when I came to pay she charged me $25, the full gel manicure price, even after telling her twice during the service I only want a gel polish change. read more
