Always a good time here. Good food options and plenty of drink options. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the user interface on their game platform is incredibly clunky and needs to be updated to say the least. We went when it was about 2 degrees out and the heaters kept us pretty warm the whole time which was great. Customer service was great as well. We noticed out time was running out pretty quickly and then we noticed no clocks in any bay were the same so we lost about 20 minutes. The CS rep came over and immediately added 20 minutes and took care of the cost. read more

Great place to hang out with family and friends. Pretty much like going out bowling with a twist! I also love that it's heated in the winter so you can go anytime during the year! The best value is to go and fill a booth with friends. It ends up being pretty cheap to play if you have a full baby and split the gameplay 6 ways. The food here is good, not something to write home about, but great for snacking during your game time. The desserts however are pretty darn delicious. Nice large cocktail selection! If you like having mixed cocktails that are unique, this is a great place to get them! If you aren't down to spend a lot of money and don't mind being out during the week, 100% take up the Tuesday deal where it's half price all day! Heading back again for the birthday weekend! Topgolf is so fun and really one of the best things to do in metro MSP. The atmosphere is inviting and warm, even in the winter. One thing I love about Topgolf is their bar and restaurant. Every dish I've tried here is great, especially their buffalo chicken pizza. I see myself as somewhat of a buffalo chicken connoisseur, and this pizza makes the cut. It's almost more of a flatbread, and has a crispy chewy crust with loads of buffalo chicken, shaved celery and carrots, cheese, and blue cheese dressing. It is so tangy and satisfying, I order it every time! Would recommend! read more

My family and I came to top golf in Brooklyn Center as a part of our mini vacation to the twin cities. What started as a fun day quickly took a turn. It was super busy, which is no big deal. We were told that we'd have a booth available in about 3 hours. So my family and I sat at a table to order food, drinks, and play a few card games.... 3.5 HOURS LATER, we asked how close we were to being seated, and they told us another hour to an hour and a half. My family and I spent nearly 4 hours in a top golf just to have to get in the car and go home. The employees were nice when they weren't too busy running around trying to serve the overbooked establishment. Poor organization and poor communication. Make sure you book well ahead if you'd like a chance of hitting a couple golf balls off a platform. read more

Went for a family birthday. The golf part was fine, but the minimum purchase didn't work so well. Lots of kids so our alcohol bill was low. We tried ordering food, but it came out ice cold an hour later (and only after asking about it). They nicely agreed to knock it off the bill, but that doesn't work when you have to pay for it anyway (to meet the minimum) and you don't have enough time left to order more. The chips that we did get were good. It could be fun, but this wasn't great. read more

Total management failure. They should quit and have someone else manage this place. We placed a reservation for our kids birthday party for 4 pm on a Tuesday a week in advance. With only four hours before our reservation, which we paid a deposit on, they called and cancelled our reservation because it was going to be too busy. Ruined our kids birthday party and we had to scramble to get another venue on short notice. What sort of poor management does this? Who has the stupidity to ruin a kids birthday, or was it that they wouldn't buy any liquor? We have booked there before and they "lost" our reservation. Is this a real business or a high stakes scam? This is terrible and demonstrates that they are unqualified to offer this as entertainment. Shameful. Would love to hear if others have had the same deplorable experience with them on their reservations. read more

I'll be honest, I was skeptical. Never have I ever had a pleasant experience doing anything golf-related, but this was a blast. Highly recommend reservations and make sure to golf at a moderate to fast pace as the time runs out faster than you would think. I've never been to a Top Golf as they don't have any in San Diego. Would be such an amazing addition to a warm weather climate though for sure. Came out here for some fun with the family to do something new on my last day in MN. This place is so fun!!!! I'm not even a huge golfer but they way each swing becomes a competitive game makes it so fun! It's not so much about power and velocity here but all about accuracy for sure! Closer to the pin at each one of the targets will score you more points. Each ball is equipped with chips in them to show where your shots went. 3 full levels swinging fun but even in the winter just prepare for a long wait. We were told to expect a 60-90 minute wait....didn't quite take 90min though. Plenty of food, drinks and cocktails to be had during your time here. Favorite game of the day was playing angry birds and blowing up buildings while swinging golf balls. Can't wait to try a Top Golf location maybe in CA somewhere. If you are a golf enthusiast at all....you need to test your skills here at Top Golf and mix it with a fun day with some friends! read more

Topgolf is a fun spot don't get me wrong. However, if you are not a golfer and just going for fun, it can get quite pricey if you go in the evening. I went here one evening around 7pm and the prices increase by almost double. Also, if let's say you are new to it and you are only there with one person, I would sign up just using one person's name. For every "new" person there is a $5 fee you can't avoid. The prices are charged hourly and this is per person as well so it is better to share one account if you can. I only opted for a 30 minute session because for each hour it was $45 which is quite pricey for someone who doesn't golf and missed almost every time I swung anyway. For 30 min it was still close to $30 per person. I am somewhat thankful I went during the winter so I didn't feel the need to stay longer because it was super cold. They do have heaters outside but they only do so much. You can order food/drinks at your table or you can eat at their restaurant on the main floor. The place is well kept and clean. I would say customer service is more sales like and I didn't enjoy that. read more

First time trying Topgolf and I am now a huge fan!! Came in as a group happy hour with my team & to our delight it was half of Tuesday's for bay times! We ended up staying for two hours & only had to pay $18 each (6 of us played). It was a huge steal!! Had so much fun even for those who couldn't hit the ball... the main objective was to get it into the holes with designated score markers, really comes down to consistency and aim. If you've got that? Being able to hit it far is just a bonus! The food was pretty good and the service was spectacular -- we consistently had people coming up to check on us, see how we're doing, and offer friendly jabs. Not impressed. I have been trying to reach someone to book a party, going on two weeks now. I'm not sure what I need to do to get someone on the phone. I have called during business hours multiple days of the week and have NEVER had anyone pick up. Worse, they have not returned my messages. I also inquired online, but they sent me a form to fill out and I have not heard back about that inquiry either. Perhaps they are busy because this is a new location. It would be nice if someone could just get back to me... and tell me they are too busy to take party reservations. Update: I emailed the person suggested, but got passed along to someone else, who passed me along to someone else. I have literally heard "We'll get back to you" from four different employees now. Top golf .....! The wife has been wanting to come here for a while. And we finally got the chance to go. I made reservations online which is 10 bucks. That fee dose not include food game play or any drinks. It will however insure you get the next available booth putting you ahead of any one who has walked in and is waiting in line. They don't teach you how to play "hit the ball" so that make the experience is a lot more fun if you have some golfing under your belt! Which was a plus for me and a minus for my wife. They have a full bar if you want to skip the driving range and catch the game eat and have drinks. We ordered tres tacos Buffalo wings and Mac-n-cheese bites and it all came out promptly and Fresh the tacos were really good well seasoned the Mac-n-chees bites were the bomb my wife however thought the were kind of spicy. The wings were blahzey to me my wife like theme however the food was well priced they game play was 45 an hr I believe so if your not paying attention you won't get many games in. its a great place to go on a date and to go with a group limit 6 to a booth. While eventually we had a nice time what a mess!!! Started by calling and employee telling us come on out, a $44 Uber ride out there to walk in and then say it was a 6-7 hour wait. Ok fine we had a few drinks and spoke to someone about keeping us on the list for 6 or 7 pm. They ensured we were. We then Ubered downtown ($38) for lunch and one hour later (1:00) missed the text saying Bay was ready but gone now. We called and after some discussion they put us back on for 7pm. 6:00 we once again pay an Uber to get back, check in at counter and they said we aren't on list. GM is called and gets us a bay at 7:00. I've been to 3 different locations and have never had an issue. Our final bill for our Bay was $280 with golf, food and drinks. Throw in drinks there earlier with Ubers to and from it pushes $500. I can assure you that my experience was not worth the price for a round a Pebble. Now the game experience and being with friends is great. The food and service was good. I know this location is new so I will blame it on that but hopefully something is corrected soon. By the looks at various reviews my group wasn't the only one who encountered this issue. This won't ruin my taste for top golf but I won't be returning to Brooklyn Center for awhile. read more

Our server was great, food was really good. But at the end of our service we wanted to hit a couple more balls, so we took a couple more out. Then this other worker, not a manager or server, took the balls away and said we could only hit one ball at a time and was very rude! After we just spent a couple hundreds dollars and we can't hit a couple more balls? Come on. We felt like kids getting scolded, horrible first experience for my mom and step father. The service at the bays is better but good luck if you try to sit in the restaurant. We came on a Sunday afternoon and sat at a table for ten minutes without being addressed. A woman and her son sat at the table next to us about five minutes after we sat. She was visibly frustrated and locking eye contact with the bar so someone came over. We sat another five minutes without being addressed so we moved to a booth. We sat here for a while before being acknowledged also. If it were busy I think we'd be more understanding but there were only one gentleman sitting at the bar and four tables in the restaurant with ample service staff standing around and walking past. read more

It was freezy snowy day in Minneapolis. We were so bored, decided to go Topgolf. Golf alley was not at all crowded but bar and tables were. We were asked to find the sit wherever we could. Luckily we got booth with big screen right next to us so we could watch game. It was so freezing we kept our jacket on the whole time. We got a pleasant server, apparently it was his 3rd day at that place and he didn't have answer to our questions but he put an efforts to get it as fast as he could so am overall happy! No complains! I asked for watermelon margarita but they were out of it so I had mango margarita, it was yum! We ordered guacamole chips, it was unique and delicious!! Rating 5/5 Grilled wings - it was soooooo delicious, oily bit delicious! I didn't understand how grilled would be oily but hey it was tasty! I loved it!!! Rating 5/5 Ambience - it's sport bar so what you can expect? Noisy and crowded, rating 4/5 Service - though our server was newbie, he did everything for us to be comfortable! 5/5 Parking - since it has golf arena, they have big parking lot and it was almost full. We were lucky to have a parking spot last night. Rating 5/5 Overall am happy I visited that place. Next time we will book for golf hopefully when it's not cold!! I really enjoy this place. Surprisingly, it is an amazing experience and really fun. It gets pricey if you are supporting a family of five or more but if you're with a group of friends you split it. This is a personal favorite of mine! Especially living in Minnesota and being able to hit golf balls outside in the winter! Service is always solid and the food is actually pretty darn good for a chain! Great for work functions, great for families and of course adults just wanting to hangout! It's not the cheapest but worth the investment for a few hours! We have been there a few times and the kids always enjoy! Love the heaters to keep you warm for sure! read more

I like this place a lot! The atmosphere is family friendly. They have an entertainment center on the first floor with two pool tables, seating areas to eat or hangout before getting your bay- walk in services, and bay reservations that can be made online. The only con was that there's only one area for the restroom and if your bay is further out towards the end of the building- it's a walk going back to the restroom and high traffic during their busy times. I got up early to make a reservation today for 12/22/18. After making the reservation I found out some of my family couldn't make the reservation time so I went back to my email confirmation to modify the reservation. My email confirmation told me I couldn't modify online and that I would have to call. So I called the Brooklyn Center location and asked to have my reservation modified. They couldn't find my reservation in their system, even though I provided a reservation #, so after 20 minutes they transferred my call to a different representative, named D. D kindly offered to modify my reservation once it showed up in the system. A few hours later I got an email notification that my reservation had been changed to my requested time. I was thrilled until I realized they changed the location of my reservation from Brooklyn Center to Nashville, TN and the number of people from 6 to 2. I live in Minneapolis so going to Top Golf in Nashville next week just isn't feasible for me. Shortly after receiving this email I got a call back from D. I told her what the issue was but she told me I'd have to call the Brooklyn Center location in order to change it. At this point I'm frustrated so I asked her to just cancel my reservation but their system doesn't allow that! I ended up canceling online. No word if I'll get $50 back! I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Top Golf, you need to dump Seven Rooms booking system and get on Open Table or something more user friendly. I was incredibly disappointed with the customer service I received today. read more

Do not ever go here unless you have ALL DAY to be on the wait-list. You have to check-in within 15 minutes of them telling you it's your turn so when they give you a 45 minute window most people would head out there, but then when you're halfway there they text you again to say your wait time is now for 2-3 hours and not the 45 minutes to an hour it was 15 minutes ago. The total wait time today was 2.5 hours and that's not including being told by text that it'll be 15 minutes, but then someone else says it's 15 more minutes after 20 minutes go by. Save yourself the aggravation and do some other activity.....any other activity is better than the farce this business puts on with a phony wait-list. How about limit the bay ti.e to maybe 2 hours so that you don't have wait-list issues. Funny thing was the manager? came over and "graciously" took 30 minutes off our time. Oh how nice, but it doesn't make up for the 2+ hours we spent standing in your super small lobby waiting. But I actually figured out their game- get you there, then double your wait time so that you spend more money on food and drinks in their restaurant. Well I have been to three Top Golf locations- this one being the closest to me and I will never go back. Nor will I recommend them to anyone ever. We could order our drinks from the server and then they had someone else bring them out. I was impressed by how much fun we actually had playing their games. Heard about this place and how big of a deal it would be getting one in Minnesota. I am not a golf fan by any means and have no clue how to play but went and still had fun. Here's is a review on what to expect. Game play: The game set up and feels very much like bowling. You and your group get your own lane/area to play with a nice couch and table. It is also nice having a TV available to watch sports while you play. You can hit as many balls as you would like during the timeframe you have the spot reserved. I would say the higher floor that you are on the better. The earlier you go the cheaper the price for the space. We went on a Thursday around 6:30. The overall wait time was 45 minutes. I hear on weekends the wait time can be closer to an hour. Playing was very fun. It was also funny swinging and missing and everyone there just having a good time. This was the highlight of the experience. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The younger age staff were extremely attentive and made everyone feel comfortable. Also love the diversity in the staffing. It was a 50° night out but the warmers in the golf area and where you sit keep you very warm. No jacket was needed. Even if it was 15° cooler it would've been fine. The food: we all ordered a variety of things. Mostly burgers, salad, wings and the mac & cheese eggrolls. Unfortunately the food area is lacking. The burgers did not have any flavor at all which was disappointing. The eggrolls were tough to chew and had an out side crunch that was very hard. The wings were pretty standard and heavily coated in sauce. The salad was average standard salad. Not bad, not amazing. (The food looks better in the photo than it actually tasted). Pricing for food is pretty reasonable - spendy. We saw several groups that had a buffet table by that catered for larger parties. The space: very nice beautiful lay out to the entire place. We walked around the main level and there was a nice restaurant area with a bar. The third level had a really nice view and two bathroom areas that were very clean. There was also a bar level up top and an outside patio that would be really nice to hang out on on a warm day. Parking was very busy but not terribly tough to find a spot. Mind you it was a Thursday night. Overall very fun place to hang out and grab drinks and spend time with friends. The environment is cozy and interactive. Having your own section and actually having lounge chairs and being outside was really nice. I've been wanting to check this out since I saw the construction of this place. $5 valet - can't say no to that especially when it's raining ha. I was shocked at how busy this place was, it was jam packed, we signed up for a bay and the wait was 3 hrs (they said 3-5 hrs is their average wait time) we didn't mind because we also wanted to eat and just hang with friends. We snagged a table after just wandering around for a bit, pool tables downstairs (I think there's only one bar on the "main level" which is the 2nd floor) we ordered a few apps - a friend showed 30 min after and ordered a couple other things, our friends order showed up 20-30min after he ordered but not our items so that was disappointing. Our food items were cold but we still devoured everything, the steak flatbread was really good and the spinach and goat cheese salad yummmm. The manager did come right away and resolve the issue about our long wait and the cold food, we know it was extremely busy but that shouldn't jeopardize the temp of the food. We were expecting to get a notification text for our bay at roughly midnight, so when we received a text at 10:30 we were so pumped - we confirm text waited a few minutes and walked to our bay which had a group of people in it so we stood there confused while the manager was assisting them, I told him this was my reserved bay apparently they were cut off too soon and we had to wait while they figured out what was going on. We were assigned a new bay and all these weird "glitches" kept happening but management gave us a complimentary 30min add on because of the confusion. This was so fun to do with friends we definitely want to go back! So awesome to try something new. read more
