We've been coming here a couple years now, and it's been pretty good for bowling very fun for the kids even the arcade has a good amount of games. We came in two times this month and the kids had a blast we did two rounds of bowling and played a few arcade games. My only issue is the cleanliness of this location. The staff is great. They are mostly young people and they have all have a great attitude. We went during their Sunday afternoon special which was a great deal. Check online because they have different special on different days of the week. We had a great time. The place is clean. They played music and the football game on later. I initially gave the store a rating of 3 for the inconvenience I experienced on my birthday night. I spoke with the manager of the night in regards to what I was advised on the phone. he even made me pull up the phone call for proof, only to not provide any type of solution . 2. I received multiple phone calls from the owner Jeff speaking in a very adamant tone to understand why the company was given the review I left. 3. my mom noticed how forceful Jeff was being in regards to speaking with left the review and left her own additional review of how unprofessional Jeff was being and he proceeds to insult us on grammar and tells us to never visit again. So my daughter made reservations and once we got there they acted as fi she did not, she showed who she spoke by having to go to her call log and show proof bc they did not believe her(WOW). So once she provided the proof they still did not accommodate us with what she had reserved...Do Not come here! Very decent bowling alley in Brandon. My family came here to bowl. You book the lanes by time, which is not my favorite way to book a lane (I prefer to pay by game), but that seems to be the trend lately. You can book an hour, 90 minutes, or 2 hours. Shoes are not included in the price. I thought the facilities seemed pretty clean. I wish that there was a table by the seating (that little table area between the seats really doesn't count), although the seats behind the lanes were ample. The lanes felt pretty even. I have my own ball, but I can say that they don't have enough light balls for the kids because they were completely out of 6 pound balls when we were there. I also thought it was a bit odd that you cannot set up bumpers from the lane but have to ask the desk staff to do it from their central location. Thankfully, I was at lane 23, so it wasn't hard to run to the main desk with problems. We ordered food and alcohol. You can order food from the bar, but you cannot order alcohol from the touchscreens. I thought the food was more varied than the typical bowling alley, but the food was universally too salty. We had a flatbread pizza, some wings, a burger, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a hotdog between ourselves. The food was ordered on a touchscreen, and then a robot delivered it. Very cool. Just don't press the button until AFTER you remove all your food, otherwise, the robot will return to its home, and the override isn't the easiest. (oops!) The bar is big and a whole separate destination, if bowling alley bars are your thing. They have some bar games, and there were people there who clearly had no intention of bowling that evening. The bar was understaffed, but the servers were friendly, and I thought the prices were reasonable. The beer was adequately cold from the tap. So long as our local bowling alley remains under construction, I'd happily return to BCB when we have an urge for a family bowling evening. But I'll have to watch my hydration level with that salty food. read more

2 stars for the bowling part. Pub service was terrible. Bartender was rude, short and couldn't answer any questions then came back said she has a menu, yelled at us and refused to serve us. Then we had to wait for a different bartender to serve us who had to take care of most everyone else. Won't be going back! The overall outside appearance is poor at best , when will the sign outside be replaced? I have had family members past the bowling alley no sign. The landscape and parking lot is for the most part is trashed. You have great personal on the desk Kim is one to speak of. The restaurant personal need more than one shirt to where, an apron would help for hygiene purposes. We have been regulars for more than 7 years. No changes. You have added the robots...... I love it when everything is a good deal! We went on a Sunday evening and got shoe rentals with three games for four people for $50! That's awesome! We realized that we should have went on a Saturday instead because they have a deal going on for 6 people and a pizza at $54.99 with free shoe rental! Regardless, it was a great time and the lanes are organized very well. Employees removed prior balls that were left from the people who used our lane before and I mean, it was a great time. Brandon Crossroads Bowling Alley is one of my favorite bowling alleys in Tampa. Aside from bowling, they have a really fun arcade that I somehow always get sucked in to. They also have a full bar and their food as actually really decent. Not on their menu any more, but now on their "secret menu," is a bacon cheeseburger pizza that is AWESOME. I have ordered this 4-5 times now and it never disappoints. Their boneless wings are also really good. I love when bowling alleys have good food... We were excited to try this place out for the first time but ended up really disappointed. Over half of the games were out of order. They said no lanes were available for three hours but there were plenty empty, and it wasn't very busy at all. But we assumed people probably reserve them ahead of time so it is what it is. Our main issue was the bar/pool hall, not a clean table in sight. Trash, cups and plates everywhere which didn't get cleaned up for the entire two hours we played pool for. There were children running around all over the bar area which was super inappropriate and dangerous as well, especially with pool sticks and darts being moved around by intoxicated adults. The big lady with the short black curly hair was extremely rude as well, when we went up to order some drinks all we did was ask a simple question of which cocktail she recommended and she was very sarcastic and told us to just read the menu and then rolled her eyes. We ended up leaving after that because then when we were ready to order she looked at us and walked off, pretending not to hear us. We all work customer service jobs as well so we were very polite because we understand how it is. Instead we were taken aback by her disrespect and won't be coming back because of it. read more

Worst bowling alley I've ever been to. The bowling balls are covered in grease of some sort, making it impossible to get a grip on the ball. The ball return wouldn't work, we couldn't get any of our balls back and it ruined our last game halfway through. We asked for assistance and never got any. We could see our balls collected at the end of the lane and nobody came to fix it. The best part about this entire place is the silly little robots they have come deliver your food to you. read more

We didn't order any food but the drinks and games were all reasonably priced, just had to wait a long time at the bar to be served. I ended up here after our other go-to bowling alley in Brandon was closed for a league night and arrived during prime-time bowling. $50 for 1 1/2 hours of bowling for 3 people. Seems like a major rip-off considering how old and dated this place is. Would definitely have been a better idea to go during cyber bowling or earlier in the day. I walked in at 11:18 pm and only wanted one game of bowling which I mentioned to the lady when my date and I walked up to the counter.The lady says to us ( as she's sitting on the counter ) " We stopped selling lanes at 11:00pm." My date and I drove from south Tampa after dinner just to get turned away when website says they close at midnight. The manager even walked up behind us as we were leaving and did not even ask if everything was okay . She watched us walk out knowing that we just got turned away. Needless to say we are now driving to a bowling alley now located in lutz called Main Event Entertainment! I have been to Main Event Entertainment location in Lutz many many times and has good customer service and will never let you down ! DONT waste your money on Brandon crossroads bowling alley, go to the bowling alley we are headed to now plus they have a WAY better arcade and food! You'll STRIKE out if you go here. This is actually owned by Brunswick which totally kicked up a notch for me because in all of my past experiences of all alleys combined, Brunswick knows their game when it comes to maintaining the lanes. The oil patterns have been fantastic each time and if it is too oily, just bowl one game with wiping off the ball with the bowling ball towel each time to help displace and remove the excess oil with your own pattern. My first impression of the interiors was yeah, they're outdated with the wall decor, but the carpet looked 1-3 years new, unless I am wrong. The walls and back wall of the alley are very faded and compels me to ask the owner if I can be commissioned to touch up on the paint! ha! I had totally forgotten that Brunswick is one of the few companies that does the red-pin hours where if you do knock down that one red pin in a frame, you win either drinks, food, or a free game. When you do encounter that and win, go to the front desk immediately to receive your voucher other wise you lose that chance. There are leagues and from what I have seen so far, the people that participate are pretty good and I wouldn't mind joining a league at some point when there's one suitable for my schedule. Also, don't forget to take a look at the back of your receipts as there's a couple that gives away coupons of BOGO games or $5 games, etc. But I have noticed the billing print fades before the month is up to prove that you got this receipt before the 30 days are up to use the coupon. Kinda sucked. One negative thing about this particular location is that it's tucked on a commercial street between commercial or industrial type of buildings with semi-weak lighting outside that it may make it dangerous for a lone person to park away from the bowling alley at night. Just be aware of your surroundings even though this area isn't overall "dangerous". read more

Worst service ever! The lady at the front makes multiple lane parties extremely complicated and refuses to recognize her mistakes. If you're going with children in the middle of the day expect that to be an inconvenience for her as well she was very rude and refused to let me speak to a manager. Very disappointing experience. Came for cosmic bowling. Had a reservation but they couldn't find it at first. They found it. Cosmic bowling starts at midnight, same time the bar closes. Good also closed early. Our lane as well as the lane next to us malfunctioned the entire time. Balls were hard to come by. Staff was decent to deal with which helped. Wont be back. read more

Ok, so I have to admit I'm not a regular bowler. I haven't frequented too many bowling alleys in general so I don't have a lot of comparison. Nevertheless I can give you the feedback based on my experience. BCB is pretty much the cleanest bowling alley I've ever been to. It doesn't have that funny, old shoe, bowling alley smell. It seems like it's been updated since my last time there. They have a nice little game room with some current, nice games. You can get a card, charge it and use the credits on the card. Most of the games give tickets which can be redeemed later for prizes. As for the bowling... I went on the weekend for cosmic bowling. They seem to have a good system, get there, put your name on the list and get assigned a lane. It's what you would expect, loud music, black lights and a dj. It was a lot of fun. The scoring system and monitors could probably use a little updating but they functioned fine. Overall, you can tell the owners of this facility really try hard to keep the place clean and up-to-date. I would definitely go back again. read more

Not a bad option as far as bowling alleys go. I ended up at BCB on a fluke. I was taking my direct reporting group from work on a boating outing on a Friday when the sky decided to open up. We needed a back up plan and someone suggested bowling. A quick search for nearest bowling alley to work and we ended up at Brandon Crossroads Bowl. This alley is clean, well priced, and was not crowded the day we came in. They played good music too! Games were $2.50 a pop. We went for some wings, quesadillas, and fries. Pretty standard bowling alley food - nothing to write home about but good for fried junk food! I don't live near this alley, but certainly will consider it for future work outings. One star reviews from me are extremely rare, but I've never encountered a place that deserved one star as much as this one. In fact, one star is way more than this place deserves. I came here on a Friday night, pre-paid for the bowling, gave the guy my MasterCard and he said "we don't accept MasterCard". I laughed thinking he was trying to make a moronic joke. Wasn't the case; this guy was actually a moron, and serious. I pointed out that there was a sign behind him that said "Visa & MasterCard accepted". He then said, "Well, we accept it, but only for high value purchases because the fee is too high. That's what the manager told us.". I wasn't in the mood to argue, so I gave him cash and was on my way. When we got to the lane, the mechanics and scoring kept having issues and finally our lane blacked out. I went up to the counter to tell the guy and, low and behold, the person in front of me was using a MasterCard with absolutely no problem whatsoever. I really wanted to call him out on it, but there was a line of people behind me but I am considerate, unlike some 20-something unhygienic punk who works at a bowling alley. I decided I will call the manager and talk to him/her, which I plan to do today. I implore you to stay far away from this bowling alley. Not only do they have rude and incompetent staff, horrible lanes, and a scoring system that doesn't work, but it is also a very dirty, ghetto place. Save your money and go somewhere else. We had a family event here and decided on this bowling alley because of the great reviews and reasonable prices. We reserved about five lanes and ordered multiple platters. The wings were really good! We were surprised. We ordered pizza too but I didn't try any. The bowling alley was very accommodating and allowed us to book the lanes on the same day. They worked with us, since we had over 30 people attend the event and everyone showed up at different times. I would highly recommend this bowling alley for large gatherings. read more

The interior is a bit dated. They have electronic scoring but an older generation system with only one theme and no options to customize. Our lane froze up twice and the desk was slow to respond to the intercom. They have stand non-bowling ammenities including pool tables and a grill with limited menu. If I could sum it up, it's not so bad that I'd drive further for another lane but no so good I'd go out of my way to come here. read more

This alley is dated but large. I appreciate the billiards area that is adults only since there are little squirts running all over the place. I wasn't thrilled with the cost to play. $8 an hour for pool was a shocker The game room area is pretty small but they have air hockey (was out of order) and some fun basketball games.
