This was clearly caused by their negligence and I had a kid in my car who was very scared. When I returned, instead of fixing their mistake, they claimed they had no availability and said they could repair it next week leaving me without any vehicle for the whole weekend. Breaking something during service and then asking the customer to wait for the whole weekend to fix it is beyond ridiculous. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible.

I contacted Terry Madsen at High Street Automotive through Yelp. Terry asked me to send the failed test report to him, and convinced me the sensor most likely are good. I just needed a proper drive to reset the sensors. I listened to him and drove the car follow the suggested driving pattern for ~40 miles. It passed! I most appreciated is the he offered his expert opinion without charge. Terry was not only just asked questions online. I was referred to this shop by Union City America's Tire to remove 2 out of 5 stuck lug nuts on my front right wheel. They completed the job last week, but charged an outrageous $450. Shortly after, I started hearing a strange noise from the same area they worked on. I called and asked if they could take a look. The person on the phone agreed to inspect it for free. But when I arrived, the story completely changed. The same guy suddenly claimed he didn't remember me and tried to charge me for the inspection. After some back-and-forth, he admitted he remembered me--but not the car (even though it had only been a few days). I asked him to check with the technician who worked on it, and he flat-out refused, saying that because I "didn't trust him," they wouldn't help me at all. I even showed them the receipt from just a week earlier. Still, they dismissed it and told me to take my car somewhere else. This place shows no accountability for their work, no willingness to help resolve issues, and absolutely no respect for their customers. I strongly advise staying away from this shop. They took my money, gave me attitude, and left me with a bigger problem than I started with.
