I just can't anymore. Just moved to town over the winter and having a good experience in Stevens Point while my daughter was in college, thought I'd try it here. Today was Strike 3. I ordered online at 10:38 a.m. knowing (1) it's Packers Sunday, and (2) they're running a great special--buy one, get one free. My confirmation notice gave me an arrival time of 11:55 a.m. Perfect! To my surprise, it wasn't even 30 minutes and both pizzas arrived. Driver was courteous & no issues there. But the pizza? Completely inedible. I had to heat up the oven and cook it the rest of the way and really, I'd of gone to Papa Murphy's if I wanted to do that. The bottoms of both were pale white and tops extremely doughy and slices stuck together--when we tried to separate them, it was obvious it was way undercooked. Heating up in the oven didn't help all that much and just made the pepperoni burn while crust was still like dough--looked like a stuffed crust but it wasn't and top was slimy. If this was the first or second time, I'd overlook and chalk it up to whatever (there really isn't an excuse). But in their quest to run orders out the door quickly, the pizzas come way undercooked and floppy and just--not good. read more

Okay, here's my brief comment on ordering pizza with Toppers. I was put on hold for 17 minutes and 26 seconds. I was disconnected twice. Both times the same employee said, "Please hold". So I waited and waited. This employee never got back to me and suddenly I was disconnected. And disconnected again. I have heard many great things about Toppers and there topper Styx's. So I was willing to give it a chance. We'll needless to say being on hold for so long I decided to order from another pizza place. This other pizza place did put me on hold, but it took them 1 minute and 9 seconds to get back to me and this employee apologized for putting me on hold. Guess what? We won't be ordering from Toppers pizza anymore. my 5 year old daughter had to use the restroom and they wouldn't let her since we werent ordering food at that time. Best pizza place ever and has the best employees ever. Not only is the pizza amazing but the people who work there are the most compassionate people, I went in a few nights ago sobbing because my dog passed away that day and the women who was getting my order gave me an ice cream on the house and just talked with me about how she feels so sorry and how she wished she could do more than give me free ice cream. The weekend late shift manager is also an amazing guy, super funny and I always have great conversations with him, 10/10 recommend giving both of them a raise. Order from Toppers for the first time last night after getting an ad in the mail. Ordered online for pick up (they were running a deal if you did both of those) and got home to find my pizza was wrong. It was missing ingredients. Called in to let them know the pizza was wrong and was told my order hadn't come through right online (even though my receipt and the sticker on the box both said the correct order). Was offered a replacement, which I declined. I was then told that they have a lot of issues with the online ordering system and that next time, if I wanted my order to be correct, I should call. That's fine, but I wouldn't have gotten the deal if I'd called to order. Maybe your company shouldn't promote their online ordering and offer online deals if the ordering system doesn't work very well. Or maybe you should pay better attention to the online orders. All in all, I can't be too mad because the pizza was still really good. I just wish their employees would have taken responsibility for the pizza being wrong instead of blaming their online ordering system. We ordered a pizza and buffalo chicken quesadilla pizza at 12:30am and it took an hour to get it and when it arrived the sausage was completely black and the crust was fried. Super dry pizza. The quesadilla was just okay but at least it wasn't completely fried. The 2 stars are for friendly staff and the quesadilla. I am in Janesville for work and ordered from Toppers while stuck in a hotel. My order arrived before the estimated time which was awesome. The gentleman who delivered my order was very nice and offered plates and napkins as well as additional toppings (crushed red pepper, parm cheese). Everything was hot and delicious as well. I was driving by and I thought I give this place a try since I was craving pizza. I got the original topper sticks (cheese bread) which took about 20 minutes to make fresh. Pros: They have tables and chairs so you can sit and eat. Nice staff Clean Parmesan garlic sauce was amazing. Cons The stix was mostly bread with a light layer of cheese. It's very dry without the dipping sauce The stix themselves have no flavor The stix are pricey if compared to cheesy bread from dominos, Pizza Hut, etc. Overall the quality is slightly better than Little Caesars and about the same as Pizza Hut and Domino's. I think you get more value from Little Caesars. read more

Terrible service. I put in an order for delivery at 11:20 am and was given a ETA of 12:04 pm. After receiving a confirmation email, 12:04 came so I called the store directly to make sure that the address was correct. I was put into the queue and was on the line for at least 20 minutes with no answer. So I finally got a call at 12:45 pm asking to clarify my address, which I did. Waited longer, acknowledging the mistake and understood. At 1:15 pm I received another call saying that the address was outside of the delivery area and management does not allow drivers to deliver to this location. So I went and picked up the pizza myself in store and went on my way. In total took almost 3 hours to get 2 medium pizzas. The online ordering system is terrible and the automated queue lead to failure of the purchase. I love toppers, great food and usually great service, but this location did not handle this service transaction well at all. No recovery took place and I paid full price for cold pizza that wasn't delivered and it took 3 hours. I feel bad that delivery drivers have to deal with managements poor decisions. Will not buy from this location ever again. read more

I've had many good pizzas from this store, but the last 2 have been not so good. I typically order a BBQ chicken with Jalapenos on at least half. Tonight's was sauced so thickly on the jalapeno side I could not see through the sauce to the toppings. The other side had regular sauce. the previous one was underdone.
