Great yogurt lovely owner and one of the few Mom and pop shops in rocklin. We've been coming here for 10 years and I love this place

Our family loves this place! We usually pop in at least once every two weeks or so! It is always clean, owner is extremely nice and works so hard... To keep it nice! I love the coconut and peanut butter flavors. My sons love loading up on the toppings...mini m&ms, gummy worms, marshmallows:) did I mention the whipped cream is definitely the "world's best" as stated on the machine! Since my yogurt cup usually consists of 20% yogurt and 80% toppings, Tops is the way to go! They have tons and tons of toppings and sauces. One of my two favorite local fro-yo places to go in the Roseville and Rocklin area. Great flavor selection (I believe usually at least 10+ as far as flavors). And they usually have PB, booyeah. I like the topping options here as well. Another thing I appreciate is the area to navigate from machine to toppings. The layout of this fro yo joint flows nicely. ~ This place is spectacular and a fun place to nice to hang out here on a beautiful summer evening. Pssst ... Bathrooms are around the corner if you get too excited from the icy goodness. Yesssss!!! Love this place! I'm a fan of frozen yogurt and this place has lots of toppings to choose from, including "fresh" fruit (probably previously frozen). I'm assuming it's relatively inexpensive - my husband and I are usually out of there around $6. How that compare to others? I feel like Big Spoon is more expensive, though I haven't been there in some time since this place opened. read more

There are about ten flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from. They have nonfat options, but not sugar free and nonfat, which is what I prefer. They have a large candy and toppings selection. They had pretty much everything I could think of in the toppings department. The prices are dependent on the weight of your treat, but in general are cheap and very reasonable. I much prefer pricing like this for frozen yogurt shops, compared to places like Yogurt Delite which is set price per size and then extra for toppings. The woman working was very polite and friendly with the customers, a lot of which were kids and families. She even recognized my aunt and cousins from past visits. The store itself isn't beautiful, but I don't hold this against them since it is a clean and casual shop. read more

This is the BEST "help yourself" yogurt place I have been! Big Spoon held my heart for a long time until I found this place! Not only do they have more yogurt flavors and all the same toppings as Big Spoon, BUT they also have a wide variety of fresh fruit to go on top of my FAVORITE - tart yogurts (original and blueberry with possible rotating flavors too.. can't remember). Off the top of my head, the fresh fruits available are mango, kiwi, pineapple, banana, strawberries, and a bunch more! Go try it.. NOW! :) read more

We tried various flavors and they were all delicious. The sorbet was great but I decided on a kind of malted milky way flavor. I put some chocolate syrup on top (as if it wasn't sweet enough lol) and it was watered down. The service people are extremely friendly there and they had some unique flavors. Not the biggest selection of flavors and toppings but what they had was very good. Prices were excellent and they even had cones so you don't spend a fortune. Great tasting yogurt once again from this fine establishment last night. I always enjoy the owners friendly spirits. I was prompted to write a review this morning as I was most impressed with the level of service last night. I have two young children and the owner was very friendly with them in asking all sorts of questions about their favorite flavors, etc. She could have instead gone back in the back while we were eating our yogurt, but instead took the time to be friendly. This is the ONLY place I go for frozen yogurt. It is clean, has so many fresh ingredients for topping, and of course, all the candy one could ever want! I love the yogurt so much that I don't ever get toppings, but my kids like to load up on the fruit (because it is so fresh) which makes me too happy! You pay by the ounce, so it is a great deal also. They have punch cards and gift certificates also. And they are pen late so when I get a craving, they are still open. The owner is amazing, nice, and sweet (just like her yogurt). I am a student at the nearby high school and I usually go with my friends or my siblings after school on a really hot day. Last year I got frozen yogurt for $2.50. This year when I went to get the exact same thing it cost $7!!! And there is no toppings on it. I was very disappointed. Anyhow, they have a good selection of yogurt and toppings. read more

I am A HUGE FAN of Yogurtland in San Diego, and Pinkberry, etc. from southern Cal. That being said, TOPS Yogurt is THE BEST I have had in the Roseville/Rocklin area by FAR. I don't even want to go to Big Spoon anymore, when this is around! I always get the delicious Plain Euro-tart yogurt and smother it with FRESH (never frozen) fruits like blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and kiwi, as well as drizzle it with honey and add some whipped cream. it is HEAVEN. If you are looking for a delicious, low-fat treat that beats ice cream AND BIG SPOON, (and is only 2 cents more at 35 cents an oz), go to Tops and support this local business. wonderful! read more

This place lures you in with their supposed discounts, but when you try to pay the discounted price, they tell you that the discount does not apply for whatever reason they make up. The owner was rude and dismissive telling me that she could change the discount at any time because she was the owner and that she did not have to post her policies. I will not return. read more

THE BEST. I could stop there... but I'd be doing a disservice to you, if you've never tasted the yogurt at Top's! I should know, I'm a professional yogurt coinousser~! Just ask my kids!!! The perfect alternative to fattening ice cream! They have usually 12 flavors any given day to choose from! The girls who work there are seriously above the bar as far as customer service goes! They go beyond, "Oh make your yogurt. The cups are over there". They remember our names, they ask how our day is going, ask about my kids' school! They aren't even locals! They are from Elk Grove, which by the way is where their other location is, and they still take time to remember my name! :) They do take competitors' coupons, as long as they aren't expired, and also they must be within the area; i.e..: Lincoln, Roseville, Rocklin, and the like. Also, the yogurt coupon you're using must be a place that is still operating! Always tons of fresh fruit (hence mommy gets to eat sweet treats w/her youngins!), and loads of the sweet sugary stuff too!! Always fresh! Also, I need to add, I wanted fresh bananas, and I noticed the ones that were offered were "not so yellow"... needless to say, they threw those out, and chopped me up my own fresh banana!!!! Went here for the first time and its hands down the best frozen yogurt place I've been too. They have so many toppings and sauces to choose from. Its amazing and the yogurt flavors are awesome. Reese's and heath bar? Yes please! Only complaint Is the price...but its worth it in the end. Will definitely come here again and definitely bring friends. Definitely would recommend. Although I am a huge fan of frozen yogurt and thoroughly enjoy supporting local business, I am extremely disappointed in the owner's public display of vulgar and unwarranted language. A gentlemen followed the rules and parked right next to a handmade, but not permanent, marker stating that the spots were for customers only. The cone marker was clearly not on the spot. As he walked back after parking for several hours, the owner literally got into his face and publicly embarrassed the person and stated that she owned every parking space in front of the building. Keep in mind that he was parked in front of the dentist office that had been closed. Nonetheless, she used many four letter words while shouting and calling him an f***ing pig. Naturally he became equally offensive as she was in his face calling him names. This is all happening as customers (mainly children) of her yogurt business are watching. Any owner who acts this way to someone who stated that he even made sure that he was not in a marked spot should be exposed. I highly recommend, despite their decent product, that you consider who you are giving your money to for yogurt. The vulgarity was so uncalled for and blatantly disrespectful. read more

I went to this place to buy the yogurt because my friend told me taste their yogurt but as i walked in i asked for samples the cashier had a very bad attitude . She had a problem to give us samples to taste .I disappointed because the store wasn't clean and also the horrible attitude of the old lady that work over there . I think it's better to put someone with the better attitude to attract customer in not to rip of their pants like a dog because of one sample .Any way I never ever go back to this place again. And i'll tell all of my friends about my bad experience and tell them to not go there.. I rate this place zero star because it was very dirty.There are a lot of other yogurt shops that have better customer service and better yogurt as well. read more
