I handed the bartender Sunny my ID and she commented that my hair on my IDlooked like i was in humidity. After that, horrible service. The bartender Sunny is so slow and forgetful. She forgot to ring in my friend's food and left her notepad right next to us for 30 mins with the order on it (without ringing it in). I expressed my concerns to the manager and he handed me and my friend expired coupons after a long wait period for what we ordered (food and drinks). Sunny did not check on us, we had to get her attention to be noticed. Then I spoke up about the expired coupon's and all the manager said was "okay". Not coming back. Firstly, I love the branding for Torchy's Tacos; they really created a cool atmosphere to enjoy a meal in. The service was also great. I was there with my Husband On Sunday Afternoon around 3:30-3:45 and the gentleman at the counter was super chill. After we sat down, it looked like one of the customers was being rude and recording him cleaning tables (which is weird) but even though the lady was doing that he was still making sure everything was cleaned and stocked for the restaurant. Delivery = small tacos. They are 1/2 the size of what you get dining in. Im less impressed every time I go here whether its the food, beverages or the staff slamming my food on the table. Used to really enjoy Torchys, but since they changed ownership, it has gone really downhill. read more

I absolutely love this place and it never disappoints. The staff is always great, and there is always a good vibe inside. I love the different taco options they have, and always come to check out the taco of the month. Torchy's queso is my favorite queso compared to other chains. I also appreciate that the sauces usually come on the side, especially if it is a spicy one that I may not want a whole bunch of. IMO, there is something for everyone here, and the tacos are filling so you don't need to buy much to have a nice meal. read more

I was super excited to try this place out. I even downloaded their app because I love tacos. The location inside is super cute and the staff is friendly. They have some unique taco options as well. Sadly I was disappointed. The chips and queso came out quickly, but even without the Diablo, it was still beyond spicy. I can tolerate some spice but a few times it hit so bad that even chugging water wouldn't help the burn. I had the same issue with my taco. I also noticed the shell got soggy. My friend had the same issue with the spice. She felt sick after, her mouth was on fire, and her nose was running from it. Updating my review because my second visit was excellent! We ordered several different tacos, using the app, so we could pick them up and take them home to share and sample. The order was ready right on time, neatly packaged and 100% correct. The tacos were labeled so we didn't have to guess. We liked the MoFaux and the Migas, also the potato, egg and cheese. Would recommend this place to EVERYONE. Everything on their menu is so good. A regular spot for me and my bestie. My personal favorites are the Tipsy Chick and the Mr. orange, but you literally cant go wrong at this place. Queso is some of the best ever. Really bummed how quickly this Torchy's went down hill. We were opening night customers. We've eaten there a few dozen times since. We've eaten at another 3 or 4 Torchy's across the country. Torchy's is pretty solid for a fast casual kind of place. They focus on street style tacos and put their own Tex Mex spins on them. The toppings they put on the tacos really make them bursting with flavors. The Tipsy Chick (chicken) was recommended by the staff and it did not disappoint. I also tried the Crossroads (beer brisket) which came with avocado on top. I would recommend dining in if possible so you can enjoy the tacos in their open-face goodness. Let's also give a shoutout to Torchy's queso. The Green Chile is a must try as it is queso topped with gucamole. You get the best of both worlds. Torchys's Tacos has a great location in Fishers. If you're stopping into IKEA or heading out from Top Golf you'd be right in the area to give Torchy's a try. It's personally not my favorite taco spot, but there's also nothing bad I could say about it. We were starving after a day of running errands and stopped in to order some lunch. It's very popular so the place was packed. Food was still served at a decent pace and staff was friendly and helped with our questions. It's a bar vibe so you can watch sports games as you eat and there is actually a bar area off to the side as well. Yearly trips to Austin took me and my Austin inlaws to Visit the little devil as soon i landed. I've been sharing Torchy's to countless friends and family for more than 10 years.,Torchys is not a taco place, it is a purveyor of gourmet meals on a tortilla! I have been a fan forever, am 61 so i know good food, and have decades of service experience. The business killing major strikes we experienced were: 1 cold aka luke warm meats, queso, chips... 2. A order sent back for being cold was delivered back no different temp than the one sent. 3. Manager or food runner (tall thin mustached man) no empathy, no comment nothing, drop and run. No follow up nothing. 4. The bus service young woman with Nice eye makeup not a smile nothing and would swoop by like a vulture grabbing empty or semi empty baskets, no asking, nothing, actually took my mom's plate while grabbing a chip! When Torchy's came here they prospected for managing partners. This adult person with skin in the game was usually visible during operations. I intrigued by this lack of care and attention witnessed the following: Cold under 140 degree meats 100 degrees if lucky. Staff roaming big haired mustache man roaming in and out of kitchen no hairnet. Cook no hair net. Cook gone to the bar to drink something the bartender had prepared in a regular torchys cup. Not one table visit from leadership. No asking how was it? No talking whatsoever. No greeting, no chit chat, no rapport, no encouragement, no nothing. From Anybody!!!! Are you kidding? It was 1240 when we arrived. Lunch rush winding down. No reason for health department regulated less than 140 degree food. You can serve cold stuff if you want, cook it in the morning or day before whatever.. What you must be in the service business is NICE, WELCOMING, and interested in your guests experience. Had a friend come to visit and I had to take him to Torchy's. Had to start off with the 3 some appetizer. I always like to sit at the bar so I can have a cold beer with some good food. At the bar service varies. Sometimes great service, sometimes the bartender is overwhelmed. It's a great place to watch the game also. The food has never disappointed! My favorite has to be the Democrat taco but every taco I've had there has been great. Ambiance varies depending when you go. I've been waiting to come here, we first tried a few weeks back but the line was out the door, so we figured we'd try again later, and we did on Sunday. With some good timing we walked right in and ordered and grabbed a seat in the bar. I had a delicious frozen lime margarita with a tajin rim, with was fresh, tasty, and I'll have to sample more margaritas. We tried the queso, and it was delicious! So when I heard they were opening 30 miles away from my house, I audibly gasped out loud in my office. It's been a long time coming! Happy to report that it's just as good as I remember and is elevated fast Tex-Mex that just can't be beat. Tacos? Full of flavor and lots of variety for plant based friends. Queso? It was my first time at Torchy's Tacos and the tacos were decent. The place was packed for dinner on a Monday night. I got the Baja Shrimp, which was good with the chipotle sauce. I love Torchy's. I used to go to the locations in Dallas area and I'm glad they finally opened one in Fishers. Can they open in downtown Indy too, please? Their tacos have all unique names which is part of the fun, and my favorite so far is "democrat" which comes with ample amount of barbacoa. Their tacos are much bigger than those street tacos so to speak, so for me eating two tacos fill me up easily. I recommend getting the chips and queso. Their queso is just different and addicting. We went on a weekend and found they had sangria and mimosas for $3.50- what a deal! I got the sangria and thought it was great. We ordered two tacos. We were given incorrect orders initially, so rough start. The tacos were good and pretty plump, I'm not sure they were worth $5+. I didn't feel like my brushfire was very spicy... it just felt like a regular chicken taco at the end of the day. Not good, not bad either! First time to Torchy's, and will definitely be back! I've seen the Torchy's sign down in southern Indiana, but never stopped. Was driving thru Fishers this evening and thought I'd give it a try, and glad I did. I ordered on their app, which was easy and efficient. The lady helping me, I think her name was Alli, was very polite and helpful with my to go order. I ordered chips and queso and both were fantastic. A little spicy, but I love spicy food. I ordered three tacos to go, and they were all full of flavor and tasted great. The Brushfire was served with chicken and mango, and some epic heat and some coolness with the mango, great combo. The Hogfather was exactly as it's described, full of pork and bacon. I accidentally order the Democrat with a corn tortilla as I usually opt for flour. The corn tortilla fell apart and simply didn't eat much of the democrat, due to it falling apart. So, so good! We had tried two nearby spots for brunch but both had a pretty long wait, so we decided it was time to give Torchy's a try. It had been on my list for a while, and did not disappoint!!! We started with a spicy bloody mary and a mimosa. Both were perfectly balanced and tasted great. Since it was stll morning (11ish), we ordered an egg, chorizo & cheese taco and a migas. We also had to try the salsa, so went with the poblano. And, of course, the special on the board, the reefer. Food was delicious - two tacos is about right for most people, but the egg one I ordered was huge, so I'm glad I just got one! Loved the chips & poblano and when our server brought it out and discovered it was our first visit he ran vack to get us samples of all the salsas to try.
