I'm not sure what to say because I don't remember everything about this visit. But that being said it's tacos and I wanted to come back so it must've been fabulous. There's always music playing and every location I've been to has always been clean. If you have any questions at the counter, they will always help you and give you ideas and you can customize. Not the first churches and not the last part she's gonna be visiting

If you want tacos, this is a must stop spot to check out! Quick service, friendly staff, clean restaurant and GREAT TASTING TACOS! We also added chips and salsa that were really good. The chips were warm and fresh. Probably stopping in again before I head out of Fort Worth.

Torchy's Tacos is a place I have to visit when I'm in Fort Worth. The queso brings me back every time, but the breakfast tacos always hit the spot. They're incredibly flavorful and very filling. The staff was great when I visited, especially the lady who took my order. She was helpful, witty, and fun to talk to. The restaurant's interior is like any other fast food restaurant, so nothing special, but that's okay. I'm not visiting for the tables. :)

I was looking for Queso on our way to the zoo so we stopped in. We got Queso, it was good, hit the spot! The rest of the food was not very good. I ordered some kind of chicken taco, they all had names, I think mine was called tickled, pickled, tipsy? Something like that. It was cold when I got it.like refrigerator cold. I brought it up to where I ordered and asked the person to heat it up. She said that she couldn't do that but they would make me a new one. Ok. To be completely honest, it didn't make much of a difference. 2 bites and nope, not good the chicken was just warm and each piece was fatty and rubbery. There was some kind of gelatinous sauce to go with it. Not edible. Besides that, the person at the counter who said that she couldn't heat up the original one and gave me a new one, came out from behind the counter and pretended to be doing something at the drink station the entire time we were there and pretty much glared at me the whole time. I'm not sure what she thought was going on but it was really uncomfortable. My daughter got a fried avocado taco and corn. She liked them. To me, the corn was too sweet. When we asked for a to go container. The person handed us a folded up cardboard drink carrier. Totally on purpose. There was a hostile vibe behind that counter. One positive note, the place was clean. Never going back to a Torchy's. Never.

We were visiting (but originally from area) so we wanted inexpensive tex mex. Everyone loved their choices! We also had the swirl margaritas which were yummy, but I will say we liked the friendly bartender better. This is a fun fast food option with a great range of different tacos

Had fried avocado & moufaux tacos. We also got corn on the cob. All the food was great, along with the Diablo sauce. Need torchy's in LA now Loved the ambiance as it was fast food/bar place all in one. The service was fast & def one of the best spots for tacos in Texas!

Aww .. I wanted to like this place but I didn't. Tried the Queso with chips . It was way too salty. Got a margarita it was good. Staff seem to really dislike their jobs. It's Friday so working late on a Friday would suck for me too. I just didn't have the best experience .

Ask the Community - Torchy's Tacos

Do the sauces listed on menu cost extra? I know Fuzzy's charged me extra but can't remember if Torchy's did.

Hi! No Torchy's do not charge extra for sauces! We always ask for diablo sauce and they are very gracious to always give plenty! You can always order your food and once your food arrives you can also ask the server for extra sauce! Hope this helps!

Does torchy's have party size for chips&queso?

Yes you can order a larger size

I've eaten a lot of tacos in my time. But some bites have a way of humbling you. This one did. I ordered the street tacos with barbacoa. Corn tortillas layered with melted cheese, another tortilla laid gently on top, then crowned with rich, slow-cooked meat. Simple ingredients, intentional hands. The first bite landed heavy -- comforting, soulful, and loud in all the right ways. These tacos slapped harder than Babe Ruth sending one out of the park. And the real kicker? The smile on her face as she watched me take that first bite -- the kind that says, "I told you so," without needing to say a word. She knew she was right. The service matched the food -- warm, polite, unhurried. That small-town kind of kindness where you're treated like you belong, even if it's your first time through the door. No rush, no attitude, just genuine care. Some places feed you. Others stay with you. Taqueria Temo does both. I'll be back.

A slight oversight. No biggie. The chips and salsa were good. Salsa is puréed and tasty. A bit of a kick but not over powering. The chips are on the "thicker" side. Preference for the lighter crispier chips though. I've been wanting to try this place for a long, long time. We literally eat at the Indian rest, Namaste Grill and bar next door and it's the best of the best. When I saw the TikTok reviews I knew I recognized the restaurant and couldn't wait to try it. I inquired about Taco Durangos. And she seemed confused but showed me that they did have "fried crunchy tacos" and directed me to the picture on the front. I asked if I could get one chicken, beef and Pork. She's said NO that they were only available in Beef and Lamb....uggggh. I ordered one with just beef to try it. It's a birria taco...it was good. I like the crispiness of it but normally not a fan of the dipping sauce served with the taco. That was the case here. Not a fan. The little service red sauce also lacked flavor...it was HOT. What's standing out the most is the salsa's, green verde sauce included all lacked flavor. Disappointing. The quesadillas were outstanding! Filling and flavorful. My street tacos were underwhelming. The corn tortillas were gummy and lacked flavor in general. Same with the beans and rice. $43.00

They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
