Walked in & we were seated right away. It wasn't busy at all for a Wednesday night around dinner time. We received chips & salsa first and the salsa definitely had a spicy kick to it, but was still good! Next we ordered our entrees! We both got the steak and cheese burrito, which was really delicious! We wanted to try this place after driving past here several times. We arrived at lunchtime 12:30 and they were fairly busy. No one was at the Hostess Stand, we waited about 5 minutes before a Female arrived and seated us. She wasn't welcoming at all, she just asked us how many and seated us, placed the Menus on the table and left! SMH really!? Customer Service is a dying service. (Instead she should of said, Welcome I'm sorry for your wait, seat us and tell us our Waiter will be right with us!) Anyway, our Server came over after a while and greeted us but didn't give her name which I saw on the receipt was Martiza. She was polite and attentive. Did not really like my meal for 21.00 was not worth it. I didn't like the texture of the chicken it qa flat and hard didnt like the sauce either I it was called Chicken Ranchero my husband liked his steak burrito. Nice authentic Mexican place near the airport. They have a separate vegetarian option as well. the spinach queso is really good. The manager keeps checking to make sure everything is good and tries to help the staff as well. Ordered the vegetarian combo and was not disappointed. read more

Toro Bravo in Linthicum Heights, off West Nursery Road just a block or so from 295 is awesome! Just like it's sister location, Toro Bravo in Annapolis Maryland, this menu is very authentic to Mexican Cuisine with everything available you can imagine, plus a very extensive Cocktail and Beer menu as well.  The staff at this location is great!  They're so friendly, on point, fast, and just genuinely nice to be around. If you're staying at one of the local hotels (Hilton BWI, Marriott BWI, Westin or Sheraton BWI) you should really consider coming to Toro Bravo just on the other side of 295 for a great Happy Hour, excellent Apps, and a vast and full Lunch or Dinner Menu. Two thumbs up! Good food, good drinks, good service. Eventhough everyone was spread out (dang Covid), it was still a very good atmosphere. They have plenty of TVs. My first time here and I must say I wasn't overly impressed. I am a huge lover of Mexican food. Since this was my first time here I decided to try something easy and basic... a chicken quesadilla. Quesadillas are one of the most common and Mexican food dishes. Well to my surprise what may seem easy or common to some are not the same to others. The quesadilla was extremely small, average tasting and priced at $13! That pretty much gives you an idea of the prices on the rest of the menu. First impression wasn't the best. read more

This place gets a zero rating. Do not eat here... I frequent this restaurant and typically order the same items and have a pleasant experience. NEVER again.... This time there was hair in the food, we didn't create a fuss, but did show the server and owner. When we were still charged full price, the manager said u were almost done so we are charging you. When asked about the hair, he clearly could CLEARLY see it did not belong to anyone in our party. The establishment is full of employers with long, dark curly hair... they are Hispanic! He says I don't know whose hair it is... it may have fallen from the sky.... Really the sky????? When I say never again, it's not the employees at all... but the owner Jose, who came with an attitude. As a business owner myself, there is never a point I would have made a customer feel this way.... Especially when they frequent your restaurant have never complained. Yep... this is a no go and I suggest everyone else beware... Who knows what else will... fall from the sky. read more

I stopped in and the place smelled like it had a septic problem or severe grease trap issue. When I asked about it the waiter said there was no smell. We we pressed for time to catch a flight so we stayed and ordered a couple tacos and chips and salsa . Chips and salsa as well as beans and rice were good but the ground beef tacos were extremely greasy (dripping grease) and we both actually felt sick after we left (which sucks on a plane). I feel bad since the girl that served us was very nice and hopefully she will find a better place to work, but we will not be going back or ordering anything from there! read more

Prior to coming to Toro Bravo I heard great things about their drinks and food. However, my experience was less than satisfactory. The female bartender was not knowledgeable about the recipes for their drinks and tried to add 20% gratuity to my check because she must have thought that my race equates to me not tipping. And when asked about if this was added to everyone else's tab in the restaurant she said ahh I'll remove it. NEVER judge someone by how they look! I worked as a bartender for years and pride myself in always tipping regardless of how bad service may have been. I do NOT plan on returning and recommend others to go 5 minutes further to other establishments that don't discriminate. read more

The food was delicious, especially compared to other Mexican options around. Service was attentive, but not annoying. Ambiance was good, except for the kind of bad smell mixed with a cleaner smell permeating the place, and the chips that came with the salsa were cooked a little bit longer than necessary. If they could fix the smell and cook the chips a little less and add some salt to the chips, this place would no doubt get five stars from me. I really enjoyed the enchiladas verdes! read more

Portions were small compared to price, and most entrees did not come with a side (rice/beans). These guys are so incredible. I can't begin to thank or recommend them enough. The service is absolutely amazing, the drinks are fantastic and the food... it'll bring a tear to your eye. A pretty typical mexican place ... good food and a lot of choices on the menu. The chicken is cooked well here, so don't be shy about ordering dishes with chicken. I had the carne asada, and it was good but nothing special. I did like the grilled green onions they put on it though ... those were tasty. We ordered lunch special cheese enchiladas (pictures) that were smothered in sloppy Joe sauce with ground beef. Yes, you read that correctly Sloppy Joe. The quesadilla and fries were bland like any other mediocre quesadilla w/ fries. Finally, not pictured we had lunch order of one tostada shedded beef and a chicken "burrito". The chicken burrito turned out to be an enchilada instead, it was just ok. The tostada w beef was nothing special either. There's seems to be a confusion on what enchiladas are and what a burrito is. Bottom Line: Satisfies my weekday hankering for casual Mexican food. Toro Bravo is a very welcome addition to Linthicum Heights and particularly the weekday lunch scene. The restaurant is new, clean and festive and located in a small strip shopping center with plenty of parking. Although a new restaurant, the staff seems well trained. Toro Bravo has a very long menu so whatever you are craving, its probably on the menu. Also, I like that they have lunch specials. You can get a whole plate of food for about $9. Of course each meal immediately starts with chips and salsa. As for the food, I thought it was good for the Maryland area but admittedly my San Diego roots have me a bit spoiled. The restaurant has a bar on one side and a dining room on the other side which I like because it helps cut down on noise. I do wish they had better silverware as what they are currently using is very flimsy and bends easily. read more

It is nice to get a Mexican restaurant near the Airport. The food is not "authentic" as they state, it is a great place to dash to for a quick drink and some chips. THe chips are 6/10 and the salsa is a 4/10. The salsa almost tastes like it came out of a can. I have a burrito that was more shell and rice than meat and flavor. But, they do have a great drink menu so all is not bad. read more

They claim to be authentic mexican cusine but it does not feel like it. The caldo de pollo was WAY TOO SALTY and the chile colorado is not supposed to have cheese. If you want to find a restaurant that claims to be mexican but is not, it will have yellow cheese EVERYWHERE. I am mexican and we do not use cheese like that at all! I give it two stars because the place is nice and the staff is really really nice. But the food not so much. read more

Stay away. They double charged us for lunch. I paid with my credit card when my wife was in the restroom, then when I went to the restroom, I thought they'd hand her the card and receipt, but instead they charged her cash. When I found out a few days later that we both paid, I immediately called. They said they didn't have the card and had no way of finding out if we were charged twice. I acknowledge that I made a mistake, but their lack of integrity is why I am now telling all my friends to stay away. read more
