We came here for a late lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. We were sat right away. The restaurant is large with tons of seating. I got tuna nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. My wife got chicken teriyaki. We split a specialty roll, which was massive. It was probably 12-14 pieces. Everything was delicious.

FREAKING FINALLY a legit, sushi spot to call home to!! Now.... this is more so a To-Go review since I only picked up my order to eat at home type thing since I'm the only person who would truly eat sushi vs my whole family (although my husband would enjoy it every once in a while, but has to be cooked....) I picked up their Spicy Salmon Roll and their Lemon Special Roll, you can tell right off the bat that their fish is SO fresh and it literally melts in your mouth! Loved the flavor combinations on their Lemon Special Roll! The citrus truly pops without taking away from the star of the show, that being the fish! I can't wait to try them out via dine in one day!

The atmosphere here was casual pleasant and welcoming. Our waitress was helpful and explained a few rolls we ask about. We had 2 great rolls-the Mi Cevichi and the Crunchy roll. Both were generously large and yummy! We had Prosecco and a cucumber salad that was dressed just right. We will go here again and tell our friends!

Service was a bit slow but the food made up for it! Definitely affordable and delicious!! I recommend and their sushi is great.

I was excited to see more sushi options closer to home. I decided to go check it out. Also I have been to the other Toroko location which I liked at that time. This location is simply ok. No real complaints but the food is nothing really spectacular. I always have high hopes of new sushi places bringing more traditional Japanese dishes. Technically you are getting the same rolls as any other sushi restaurant in town. The waitress was sweet and attentive One thing I didn't like at this restaurant and I believe it is the same issue for the other restaurant next door is the lighting. They need some shades for the afternoon hours.. you truly cannot look at the entrance you feel you will get blinded

Just ordered the Tuna tower and it was wonderful! Very good Sushi, employees are very attentive.

The food is amazing!! Fried combination rice is a must have! Big fried rice fanatic and this is one that sits in my top 10! When it comes to the sushi it also stands toe to toe with some of the best sushi's in town. The margaritas also are quite good. If you are looking for a stronger side margarita this is the place for you! Have made several trips and quality of food is very good and never been disappointed.

Fantastic! Japanese restaurant just opened last Sunday in Fair Oaks Ranch and is called Toro'KO Sushi.

They had happy hour all day. Happy hour included wine, sake and appetizers. I thought it was such a great deal. We all loved our creamy miso soup. I would go back just for that. When it came to a table, we all looked at it and were iffy about it, but as soon as we tasted it, we all agreed that it is the best we have had. I will admit I don't remember all of names of the dishes, but the ones I remembered we got were the Hotline crispy gyoza, Pepper fin Miso vongole pasta and Kaisendon. We shared a key lime pie. The Keylime pie slices are little small, but after all our food, we were all full . We did all agree that the Keylime pie was missing the tartness we expect from Key lime. We were celebrating my birthday and they gave me a free glass of champagne. I wasn't expecting that, but it was a nice touch. They do have a record player with records available for you to choose from that they can play for you. The restaurant is located below Silos next to Orangetheory. If you don't know where it is at, it will take you a while to find it. It doesn't have a good sign. Parking is available, but shared with the other businesses. We had no issue finding parking

The listening bar concept paired with their state-of-the-art custom sound system makes the atmosphere feel immersive from the second you walk in. The music, lighting, and outstanding service all work together perfectly when you're trying to unwind and decompress after a long week. The lychee martini was smooth, refreshing, and extremely lychee forward. I really enjoyed how they garnished the drink with two whole lychees. I was in heaven and I can honestly say this was one of my favorite cocktails I've had in the city (Thanks for the recommendation Annabelle). Food-wise, everything felt elevated and pieced together beautifully on each plate. The truffle creamy miso soup was warm & comforting with just the right amount of depth and the Asian pear cucumber salad was perfect to cleanse the palate after the soup. The Hawaiian ono was another standout that absolutely delivered. That cilantro oil and the yuzu dance together well with the soft & silky ono. I also really enjoyed the scallop crudo, it also has cilantro oil but this time with ponzu foam. This combination was so good that I absolutely had no shame sipping the married liquid components on the plate between each bite of scallop. Lastly, the wagyu mochi gnocchi is unreal--rich, melt in your mouth mochi gnocchi, savory shrimp and tender wagyu, and this velvety sauce that's semi addicting. This surf-and-turf style dish with seafood and wagyu is where Yozora really flexes; every bite felt balanced, indulgent, and beautifully plated. (This particular evening the sauce on the mochi gnocchi was a touch spicier for me than the first time I visited but I enjoyed every last bite nonetheless). I went a little ham and didn't have room for dessert this time unfortunately. Next time Huge shoutout to my server Annabelle, who made the entire night seamless. My water never even got close to empty, her recommendations were spot on, and she somehow balanced taking care of the bar while still making her tables feel attended to. The rest of the staff even tag teamed service throughout the dining room which I always enjoy seeing. It says a lot about how well the staff and overall concept works together there. Symphony for the soul. Thank you again Annabelle and team for making the whole evening easy to enjoy and adding so much to the experience. Yozora absolutely lives up to the hype. Add it to your list of spots to keep coming back for.

We had sashimi, rolls, appetizers and a bottle of sake. I've frequented many sushi restaurants all over the country for years and this restaurant absolutely delivers. Incredibly fresh fish! Meticulously well prepared and delicious. Wow! So very happy we discovered this place. We arrived early about 3:30pm, so the restaurant was quiet with a few patrons. The restaurant feels romantic with dim lighting and good music. Kudos to the Chef!! Great food. Thank you so much. It was money well spent. Cheers!

I was immediately annoyed because the music was very loud to me. That could have been due to the empty restaurant, the actual volume or my perception of the volume lol. I was really hoping for a more intimate vibe for conversation. The speakeasy lounge actually looked more like the vibe that I desired but I settled in and placed my order. I wanted some of the showier selections seen on IG, so I ordered the tuna tower and flaming Romeo & Juliet roll and a cute (albeit sweet) cocktail that came in a goldfish shaped glass. When the tuna tower arrived the young server asked me something several times which I couldn't hear over the music, so I just nodded. After she smashed the tuna tower, I figured out she was asking if I wanted it mixed. Lol my bad! I actually did not want it mixed but it was delicious anyway. The Romeo and Juliet roll took forever to stop flaming but once it died down, it was absolutely delicious. My partner enjoyed his roll as well and they gave him a complimentary birthday desert with sparklers. Overall I give service a 3. I would have liked a more professional presentation of the menu, hyping it up a bit. And a less soft spoken server. The food was a solid 5, everything was fresh and scrumptious. Overall I give Uni'ko 4 stars and I look forward to returning. I thought it was a good value given the extra razzle dazzle and food quality.

Cork & Keg is one of those rare gems that somehow marries the warmth of the hill country with what is often snobbery among wine-os. It manages to be welcoming to the newly initiated (i.e. just 21) and the more seasoned patrons, providing something for everyone with a selection that boasts excellent vintages from both near and far. If you're lucky enough to sit at the bar you may find yourself with one of the regulars open for good chat over a glass of their favorite on the list, or inspired to try something new. Don't be afraid to ask the staff their recommendations, as they are both knowledgeable and friendly, making the wine list as approachable as they are. #1 must visit place in Boerne. I'm telling ya' - Go here!…read more This is a continuation of my review of the Richter tavern. Walking up stairs, the owner pointed out old bricks he found and used during the bars renovation. At the top of the stairs, a massive mirrored turn of the century bar awaited with mixologists wearing kilts! Yes kilts. It was here I saw a tiny bourbon barrel and ordered an old fashioned. Truly delightful- I had 2. I learned how Kendal county was created by a man named Kendall because he brought Scotsman and sheep over and developed a highly successful economy with wool. He showed us black and white photos of the same mirrored bar we were drinking at 36 years apart and with the same bartender who apparently lived in this area bartending his whole life. My wife had a cucumber lily and I had a whiskey something chill that was slightly orange favored, unique cocktails you can only get here. I learned the bartenders were really good. One had worked in Vegas and the other cut his teeth with descendants of Makers mark who taught him his skills. At the time of this post, it was near May 4th so They also had a life size Darth Vader, stormtrooper in a kilt and R2D2 light. Guy encouraged us to visit the restrooms. Inside were old black/white pictures of convicts and small blurbs about their crime written in gold foil on a black background- kind of Noir. Also running was a projector showing silent films. There were at least 2 of them in different places. Guy told us about the exclusive membership on the 3rd floor, accessible by an artistically designed red door with various half circles to an elevator. And I don't think he could help himself -he offered to show us the 3rd floor. Now, both the 1st and 2nd floor venues are impressive, and the 2nd floor out charms the first in my opinion, but the 3rd floor is simply Mega-cool magnificent. Recessed lighting throughout, a large print of Wonder Woman's face stood out on one wall next to a long well stocked bar, and leather furniture of a forgotten but classic era was Uber comfortable. And they have an outdoor patio with a great view. They had a floor to ceiling wine shelf with different names of clientele that ensure their preferred beverages are in stock. This is how the other side lives and I was fortunate and honored to get a glimpse of it. If you're still reading this awfully long review, I'll give you a 1-word summary od this entire place. IMPRESSIVE. And since Darth Vader is here too, I'll add "Most Impressive" Go. Thank you Guy for making our 16th anniversary most memorable and enjoyable. We'll certainly be back!
