My family and I have been coming to this place ever since we arrived from Sinaloa and it's not exactly like the ones over there but they get pretty close to the real thing. The chocomiles (chocolate and banana milkshakes) are the BEST and the serving sizes are crazy big. My fav torta is the Lomo Especial but all tortas I've tried they're are delicious. First and foremost, I don't want to discriminate anyone by what I'm about to post about this restaurant. I came to this restaurant sometime last week to try their tortas, I'm a big fan of Hispanic food, because I was born and raised in South America. Then we were asked whether we want an English or Spanish menu, still not offended because I can read either or. Then they proceeded with "you can just sit anywhere" and we were like ohh okay cool, then here comes our server, so what can I get for you guys, and we ordered two carne asada tacos, a Fontana torta and a ham and cheese torta. Yes, the tortas and tacos were tasty and the tortilla seemed to be made in house which is always a plus for me, and the buns are fresh. I had no problem at all with the food. As we were eating our tacos, I kindly ask our waiter for hot sauce, and she gave me this look like ohh you eat hot sauce with tacos too? Then she went and grab the two (maple syrup looking jars as others describe it as) and brought it to our table. Thereafter I've noticed that every single table was getting like a little side dish of jalapeños with carrots prior to their orders. I'm not trying to make it seem like I'm being picky or anything but as any restaurant owners, regardless of what nationality that person is, shouldn't you guys offer the same type of service to everyone? Because after all we are paying you guys for your services. Even if we didn't eat jalapeños and carrots, it's the principal that you should at least treat every customer the same and not assume that just because we're Asian we don't eat that kind of stuff. This place was awful..................... I've been there before and enjoyed it. They must have changed management, because I never want to go again. As you entered there was a strong chemical smell. Very disappointed in the service and smoothies. We have came here for years the food is good and fast but unfortunately today we received got poor service and horrible smoothies. First I orders the mango smoothie, I received blended ice cubes and yellow dye, the smoothie did not taste like anything. We informed our waitress that I did not like the smoothie and that it had no flavor, she apologized and she should would speak to the person in charge to see what she can do. Our waitress let us know that nothing is refundable once ordered,I asked if they had sugar packets or Mango to be added to make it better she offered sugar or honey but we can exchange it for something else and suggested the strawberry licuado. Sure enough everyone agreed the drink were very poorly made. The check comes and BOTH drinks are on the bill. We go pay I inform the old lady at the register taking payments and she gets offended about the situation. She says "it's funny that u say that because IVE NEVER had any complaints EVER so it will be $full amount " she did not apologize for the poor drinks and instead is very rude. I go their for their aguas and smoothies. The Pineapple Agua is my favorite. They are too die for! Perfect for a hot day and quench your thirst. Their tortas are good. But don't get them to go. They get really soggy and almost inedible after a few minutes in their foil. They have really good street tacos and their salsa is mediocre.
